Old Fleece Apartments

We were helped upstairs with our luggage when we arrived in spite of being rather early for check in. The apar**ent is very well equipped. We were amazed to find a dishwasher. The two large double beds were very comfortable. The shower was amazing. All in all, we were delighted with the accommodation. If you are planning to book this accommodation, please be aware that the stairs to the bedrooms may be a little difficult for some. However, help was on hand with luggage which was excellent. We didn't sample the food as we were out (at the 3 Choirs Festival) in the evenings as well as day time.

The main road is noisy until the traffic dies down later on in the evening. The metal framed windows, even when shut, let through a high volume of road traffic noise. It was a period of unusually high temperatures by day and night when we stayed and the room we stayed in was in the loft space and therefore really warm and so the windows had to be kept open most of the time. This is by no means a complaint merely a note for other people who stay in the loft apar**ent who may not be as comfortable with a very warm internal environment as we were.

Huge loft apar**ent nicely decorated and good facilities to use. As it’s a 200+ year old building the stairs are steep so probably not right for someone with unsure footing. Great spot, just above a nice pub with very friendly and helpful staff on hand.

Really pleasantly surprised by the amount of space and facilities. Lovely apar**ent and lovely welcome.
