It's a bit far from Windsor Castle, but not too far. It's good, but I didn't check in in time, so I checked out again。quiet town environment

Shower not very clean and too small. The rooms are very dated. Requested breakfast at 8.30 had to wake the landlady Wendy up she was still in bed. Her son the chef still in bed. Anyway the pub stang of smoke (cigarette) Location is good for Heathrow and Legoland, Windsor. I wouldn't want to stay there again.

I stayed at the Prince Albert with my family (2 adults, 2 children) as a stop over prior to going to Legoland, given it’s close proximity. We had a ground floor family room, which had all that you would expect and was true to its rating. Though a little dated it felt comfortable enough. However for me, I found the bed far to hard for my liking (some might prefer that). The window to the room opened on to the road and even with the window closed the noise, though not unbearable was there till late. The window could also benefit from black out curtains to block out the traffic lights. The bathroom, again basic, was very clean and did the job. However, though it worked well with very good pressure the shower cubical was not in a good state. The tiles weren’t straight or level, the sealant in places was so thick it looked like it’d been applied with a trowel which was untidy and had resulted in some of it splitting and the sealant and a lot of the grout and ceiling above the shower had some mould. The light and fan for the bathroom were on an automatic sensor, and though the fan could be isolated there didn’t seem to be a way to turn the light off, which when you have children that go to the toilet through the night can be a little annoying, even with the door closed. As I said, despite what are probably minor problems, the room was comfortable enough and the staff were very friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant and unfortunately this was not good experience. The staff member was attentive and friendly but after placing our order were then informed that one item had run out, this happened to another family on a different item. You would expect to be informed about missing items prior to ordering. For starters we had ordered some garlic bread and chicken wings. The garlic bread appeared to be shop bough baguette with what seemed like grated cheese from a packet on top. The wings were double so quite big, however the outer skin was quite tough but the meat inside was nice and juicy. However the BBQ sauce tasted very generic without much flavour. The mains were ribs and a chicken burger with Mac and cheese for the children. The ribs appeared to be grilled and were a little over cooked, the chips tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. Unfortunately the chicken burger was also over cooked. The mac and cheese, though for children were a good portion size. The breakfast was the opposite, despite a technical issue, it was all cooked to order, very tasty and very good portion size which I have to say defeated me. All that has been listed are fairly minor and really wouldn’t be much to change. All in all that stay was comfortable and served our purpose

We stayed here for a two night stay, to visit Legoland. Location was great and only a ten minute bus ride away. We booked a room for two adults and two children (room 1) However when we pulled out the extra bed from beneath the double bed, there was no room to put it anywhere and still have access to the bathroom door. Unfortunately, most of the items were unavailable on the breakfast menu, and on the second morning we choose to move tables because of ants crawling up the walls. Due to the warm weather we wanted to open the windows at night but due to the fact that we were on ground floor and on the main street, we had to keep them closed at night for safety reason. and the also the bins were right outside our window.

We stayed in the family room (1) and after a quick checkin, was shown to our room by friendly staff. I advised we’ll be eating in the restaurant and what we’d like to drink and when we arrived at the table our drinks we’re waiting for us! Awesome service! Definitely needed that wine waiting for me after a 3hr drive with young kids! The room was spacious, lovely and very clean. Not modern, but what you would expect from a quaint traditional pub! The kids loved the idea that we’re sleeping at the pub haha. The facilities in the room equals if not betters what you’d find in a hotel, with soap, shower gels etc, towels, crisp white sheets, tea/coffee and a bottle of water, extra cosy blankets, and lots of shortbread biscuits! The staff were friendly and helpful and service in the restaurant was quick. The staff engaged in conversation with the kids and provided lego to keep them occupied at dinner time. The food was quick, hot and delicious. Great kids menu. This was a perfect location for the night before out visit to Legoland, which was 2min drive up the road. For the price this was excellent quality, better that what you’d get at Premier/Holiday inn. Free parking too and personal service. Good breakfast options and also could get a yummy takeaway latte to start the day at Legoland. As a normallly critical customer, I couldn’t fault this place. Wish we’d returned for dinner here as the next evening at the Legoland restaurant ‘The Bricks’ was not great at all.

We arrived in Windsor in the late afternoon, tired after a long drive with our youngtimer cars. The Owner, the Staff and even the Customers too (thanks again Jim) are incredible. The park area, close to te rooms, is a no-stress value if you are driving classic cars. Room are clean, comfortable and full optional. We feel as we were at home. Center of the town is 20 minutes walk from the hotel. A top rated solution.

Dirty, unacceptable hotel room, no cleaning seemed to have taken place amidst the covid 19 pandemic, which they seemed totally oblivious to. Ignored several messages/emails regarding any sort of compensation for the uncomfortable night we endured. Every surface covered in dust, sticky TV remote control, stains on sheets, a pillow smelling of rotten feet, smelly bag of dog biscuits left in drawer by previous occupants, stains on carpet. Very hot and sticky night, couldn't use the fan as it was covered in dust. Totally chose the wrong hotel, never again, will certainly not recommend them!

Great selection of beers and spirits. The staff are very friendly and they have a nice local crowd. Food is quite good too. They also offer reasonable accommodation. Worth a visit. Convenient location. They also show live football matches on multiple televisions
