Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas

It is one of the best places to visit in Seychelles, and it is worth every penny. The staff is astonishing, the food is super amazing, and the location is superb. If you're looking for a unique experience, then you are looking at the right place. Enjoyy your trip.

In my humble opinion, Probably one of the best luxury resorts in the world. Since I have been to the Seychelles many times, I have heard about this resort much earlier. Recently, property was purchased by the Anantara resorts company, what additionally encouraged us to stay in this luxurious property for several days. The location of the hotel is one of the best in Seychelles - our villa No. 21 had an amazing view of the beach and the whole bay. The whole concept of this resort is based on providing guests with the best possible experience of their stay - the service is at the highest level. Our quest relations manager - Mathew - was amazing - that's how we had named the crab toy - the mascot we got for our kids as a present from Mathew!! We mention him with a big, broad smile on our face. Our host - butler of the Villa named Hana - was wonderful and very helpful person who fulfilled all our wishes and dreams. A very strong point of the resort is the main restaurant and its extremely talented chef - I have not yet met a person who can prepare dishes of various completely traditional world cuisines - Asian / Italian / Mediterranean / Indian. It is a place to which we will certainly come back in the near future.

Our stay at Anantara in Seychelles was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. From the moment we entered the resort we felt at home and felt welcome by every staff member there. Our Butler, Ravi, was very professional, hospitable, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. in the first 12 hours we knew we wanted to come back to Seychelles but this specific properly as we have never felt such hospitality before at any other resort. We decided to do a small gender reveal while we were there. We requested something small and gave no vision at all to our butler, and he went above and beyond and showed us an experience we’ll never forget. If you want to have a memorable vacation, We highly recommend all rounder resort!

Waking up every morning to the sound of waves crashing against the rocks just below our deck is a memory I won't soon forget. The villas are beautiful and we couldn't get enough of having our meals served to us on the villa patio deck so we could soak up every minute in this wonderful place. Our Villa butler was Samantha and we couldn't have asked for anyone better! She was a delight to chat with and she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! Everything about our stay here was amazing! We stayed in a Premier Ocean Villa and the view was unobstructed ocean! We enjoyed villa #205 and we highly recommend it - it has a private beach we could walk down to when the tide was low - simply amazing! The staff at the bar/restaurants were friendly and service was great! I can't think of one thing about this resort that wasn't top notch! We hope to return someday!!

One of the best hotels ever visited , view from peninsula vila is amazing, food is great , beach is superb, all staff are professionals. What an unreal experience, Thushantha really made our 2 week stay he was absolutley incredible, he took care of everything little thing before we ever had to ask, the housekeeping was spotless and beautifiully done. He made sure the fridge was always stocked with everything we liked, sorted out bookings of resturants and made everything so special. At first I found the hotel manager quite pushy on helicopter trips (we said we are both scared of helicopters) we were going to stay on a private island hotel but decided against it when it was the only way to access, but he did say as we are staying for a long time we can request what we like off menu and they will try acomedate we asked for lasagne and a few hours later they made us one that was incredible the same for spagetti carbanara and treated us to a very special lunch on our last day. The spa was amazing beautiful setting and treatments, best ive been too, we liked the gym too. We ate out of the hotel quite a bit but nothing compared to the hotel chefs, one of the best on the island. We went to FourSeasons for the day to experience it, but didnt like the service or food and how long it takes to wait for buggies and get from A to B there, when you experience the Anatara and Thushantha service nothing else compares, The FourSeasons manger was even more pushy was too much. The hotel works with a taxi driver Eddie who was incredible he took us out on all our trips and taught us so much knowledge and history of the island, he made us feel so safe and comfortable. We really enjoyed his resturant recomendation MarieAntoniette the best authentic Creole food and all his beach recommendations. The weather was quite overcast and did rain a lot which locals where saying was rare for this time of year but we still had enough sun. The sea was also quite rough but still beautiful.

Pros Service (you have a dedicated villa host) Food (taste fresh and you don’t smell the fish) Villa (amazing view and good design) Cons - Arrival experience can be better (by giving you an option to pay in advance online and have a section for add-ons like spa taxi service rent a car and a list of activities with prices) Payment experience they should have an online portal to settle payment the experience of paying was bad Finally better gym and I would expect a sauna steam jacuzzi from a hotel of this price range

Had an unforgettable lovely experience at Maia! 🥰 It’s a 5 star boutique hotel, authentic, beautiful big villas with private pool and a beautiful outdoor bath and shower. The villa was equipped with everything you need and more plus you get your own dedicated person arranging a to z for you during your stay. We had Hanane, who was very sweet and made sure everything was perfect and arranged, she also set up an amazing romantic surprise for us! The villa provides full privacy and the resort overal feels very private and tranquil. The villas are in the middle of the jungle landscape with ocean views and there is a gorgeous secluded beach at the bottom. Great food and spa! I highly recommend this stay if you want something boutique, luxury and authentic. Thanks for everything!
