Down stairs room. Clean, tv, coffee pot everything worked good. I don’t understand all the bad reviews I have read. This motel is not the Hilton but we are not paying The Hilton’s price. I would definitely stay here again. As far as bugs being in the room, we did not see the first bug. Just steps away from several restaurants and stores.

Such a shame. I could have given this hotel a five star rating. Problem is that it is so close to I-75 that the traffic noise is unrelenting all night. We even had our sound machine with us, and we could still hear the traffic. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, the room beautiful, staff friendly, good breakfast. I would have liked to put this on my list of places to stay in the future, but unfortunately, because of the noise, we will not. Hotel is well aware of the noise as we found ear plugs in the bathroom after we had checked in. We eventually used the ear plugs, but guests should not have to do that. The next morning I was told by a staff member that our room was on what is referred to as ”the noisy side” of the hotel.

The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was very simple. This price is enough to eat. Don't be too particular.

We decided to try a stay since this location was fully renovated. We were cheerfully greeted by Ashley R. Ashley, accommodated us beautifully! She is an excellent multitasker too. (She courteously & thoroughly attended everyones needs (via phone, lobby walk ins, including us too)! Ashley is a lovely forefront for your Corporation (you are blessed to have her)! The rooms were nicely cared for too. Thank you for placing Ashley at the forefront of guest services at the Macon, Ga. location. She' s a definite asset & made our stay very pleasant. Enjoy all the comforts of home at our Super 8 Valdosta Mall hotel located off I-75 just minutes from Valdosta Regional Airport VLD and close to Moody Air Force Base. Our hotel provides friendly service and easy access to area attractions.

Hotel was OK. Problem with elevators that should have been told to us when we checked in. Several people at front desk, but no mention of this, although they were clearly having issues. When we returned from dinner there was an elevator repair man riding with passengers in the elevator. That kind of problem should be told to guests, we don't know if someone got stuck or what the problem was. It took a long time to for the elevator to come so we knew something wasn't right. Our room was OK. I needed another pillow and none of the ones in the closet had cases. I had to call down for one.

Rooms are clean, staff is great. Does not tolerate the shenanigans that usually come along with other budget motels. Have stayed here several times. Never had any issues. The rooms have been recently renovated. Location is conveniently off the expressway, but far enough not to hear any highway noise. Descent seafood restaurant just down the street as well. Nice price. Clean rooms. Descent restaurants, what else could you ask for.

All staff was ultra pleasant. The property was very clean. My family and I felt very safe. However, the layout of the bathroom was ridiculous. You walk right into the toilet. You have to squeeze into the vanity to close the door. If you lean up against the toilet your calves rub against it. That is gross. We stayed one night, so we tolerated it. We were in room 521....it butted up to the elevator. The elevator was not as quiet as assumed. Waaaa....humming up. Waaaaa humming down. Up and down, down and up. Stop, start. Stop, start. Totally not cool. Finally, Marriott often does not credit my points until I chase them down. I even when I ask during check in or check out if my points will be credited. That alone makes me want to ”cash” out and go back to the Holiday Inn. 4.5 stars.
