4 Star Hotels in Tonglu

I have known Bafu Inn for a year. I was attracted by Liang Jie's personality when I saw her video on Xiaohongshu! I have been looking forward to coming to Bafu to experience the quiet and quality homestay in the ancient village! Various reasons led to the trip during the Mid-Autumn Festival this year. After coming here, it exceeded expectations and became an unforgettable Mid-Autumn Festival trip for our family! Bafu is located in the ancient village of Tonglu. The village gathers some interesting craftsmen, cafes, taverns, small studios, and a distinctive commercial street. The village is very quiet and comfortable. Bafu Inn is one of the best inns in the village. Liang Jie, the owner of the homestay, is from Hong Kong. She came to Shanghai to run a homestay more than 20 years ago. She has a good taste and a cheerful personality! It took her three years to turn a mansion that has been around for hundreds of years into a tasteful, detailed, warm and comfortable homestay. Staying in the homestay without going out, being in a daze, and chatting with Liang Jie are all very relaxing and comfortable. The housekeeper of the B&B arranged very professionally and thoughtfully: they would contact in advance on WeChat, pick up guests at the parking lot, help with luggage, and I sprained my ankle that day. They also took me to the B&B on an electric tricycle (7 or 8 minutes on foot) and gave me ice packs. The breakfast at the B&B was delicious. I stayed for two consecutive days, one day for Chinese food and one day for Western food. The buns for Chinese food were made by the aunt herself, the soy milk was ground by herself, and the eggs were free-range eggs. Dinner was booked at the B&B, all organic food, braised pork with pickled mustard greens, and fried sweet potato fries were very fragrant! Sister Liang also organized a night talk tea party, where guests gathered together to talk about interesting topics, eat melon seeds, drink tea, and eat moon cakes, which brought us a completely different experience! There are some attractions around the B&B: in the morning, you can go out of the ancient town and run along the river to Shuangxi; go to Daqishan Forest Park to climb the mountain; and take a look at the Fuchun River. In short, after a busy urban life, Bafu Inn must be a good place to relax and have quality!

There were many people and cars on this trip, and the hotel security helped solve the parking problem. Parking spaces in hotels in mature communities are indeed tight during holidays. We had two cars and were arranged to park at the door of this restaurant. It happened that we also had dinner here 👍, which is 100 meters away from the hotel.

The room is quite big, the external environment is really good, very Chinese during the day Garden style, suitable for taking pictures, service is also very good, very close to Daqi Mountain, go straight for three kilometers, very convenient, very close to Yiwei Courtyard or Yintai City, convenient takeaway, plenty of parking spaces, overall good

During this trip to Tonglu, Fuchunjiang Atour Hotel gave me a great surprise! The front desk was warm and considerate, and the check-in was efficient. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the sleep was super sound. There were also small slippers and children's toothbrushes specially prepared for children. The Fuchun River is outside the floor-to-ceiling window of the room, and the scenery is amazing. It is convenient to travel around and there are many hotels. There are many parking spaces at the door of the hotel downstairs, which is convenient for entering and exiting. The whole family, young and old, are very satisfied with Atour during this trip. It must be a five-star praise. I will stay here next time and recommend it to everyone!

The hotel is close to the Fuchun River. You can walk along the river and enjoy the night view just over 100 meters away. The location is good. Unfortunately, I thought I booked a river view room but it turned out not to be one. Fortunately, it is not far from the river.

The location is very good, with a panoramic view of the mountains and a quiet environment. The housekeeper service is considerate and thoughtful. The three-bed room is large enough for a family of three. The room is well soundproofed, with air conditioning and floor heating. The facilities are complete. There are fruits, snacks and good night sweet soup every day. The breakfast is a set meal, and you can choose one of the four staple foods. It is very good. It is also convenient to eat near the B&B, and you can take the shuttle bus. Because it is inconvenient to go to the public restaurant for meals with pets, the housekeeper delivers them to the room every morning and evening. Thank you very much.

Love this hotel!! The service staff at the breakfast restaurant were impeccable and so friendly. Made us feel like friends! Breakfast variety was extensive enough. Only thing no good was coffee and the in room coffee (Italian drip coffee) was no good too. Rooms were clean and spacious. They have self service laundry room. Gym was very basic, treadmill not working. River view makes the stay even more unforgettable. Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel.

I looked at many hotels online and chose the Daman Hotel. All my requirements were met. I stayed on the 12th floor, in a non-smoking room. The room was large, and I could lie down next to the window sill. The view outside the window was also good. I originally booked 2 nights, but I thought the hotel was very good, so I renewed it for another night. The price was also very affordable. The cleaning lady on the 12th floor was very enthusiastic and responsible. There were also milk or drinks and snacks every night. I was very satisfied with this stay. The 12th floor was very quiet and I had a good sleep. It is also worth mentioning that the underground parking lot is large and convenient for parking. During the Qingming Festival holiday, this is barely okay. The target was 4 diamonds, so I thought it could at least compete with Jiji or Atour, but the overall facilities are still far behind. There is only a small round table in the house and there is no other place to put things, which is very inconvenient. The shower stall in the bathroom is too small, especially for taller boys. The overall decoration is very old-school, I personally don’t like it very much. Hygiene: Needless to say, after all, it just opened not long ago, it is very new and relatively clean. I can't say there's anything bad about the bedding, but the comfort level is a little worse than other hotels I've stayed in before. The WiFi is very poor. Although the staff was very nice and helped me fix it for a long time, the connection was still often disconnected and the experience was poor. I probably won’t book it next time•ᴗ•💧, I still prefer a hotel with a slightly more fashionable decoration style
