Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole

Tokyo|0.37km from Metalily
Facilities: The software and hardware are good. There is room-specific WiFi information on the TV. Although the room is not big, it is equipped with smart toilet, bathtub, refrigerator, ice bucket, and hot water kettle, which is very convenient. You don’t need to prepare your own toiletries. Women’s makeup remover cotton, cotton swabs, cleansing oil, facial cleanser, and lotion can be picked up in the 5F lobby. They are all in independent small bags in travel size. They are hygienic and convenient. The brands are also good, including Sekkisei and Paula. Brands; men's razors and shaving cream are also available; as well as various types of bath salts, children's slippers, and toothpaste, the hotel provides them. Another special mention is that the hotel does not provide pajamas, but cotton pajamas. You can change into seat clothes directly after playing, which is very comfortable and saves you having to bring your own pajamas. Hygiene: Overall it's pretty good, except that the bathroom may have a bit of a smell occasionally due to poor ventilation, but it's acceptable. Environment: The hotel has a good environment inside and outside. It is quiet in the bustle. Opposite is the Sky Tree and a large shopping mall. It is convenient for eating and shopping. We must check in at the supermarket downstairs of the hotel every day when we come back. Milk, beer, and water are cheaper than convenience stores. Transportation: For those who travel, this location is very convenient. There are three subway stations just across the street from downstairs. There is a direct railway to Narita Airport, and the total journey is 1 hour and 7 minutes. It is very, very close to Ueno and Asakusa. Especially for tourists with Disney itineraries, there is a bus stop behind the Sky Tree just 5 minutes' walk downstairs from the hotel. It takes 1 hour to go directly to Disney. Tora Hotel Asakusa - Hostel

Tokyo|1.53km from Metalily
I did not get to stay in this hotel. Upon arrival, I was told that my booking did not show in the Hotel’s system, because they were not informed by trip.com of my booking. Unfortunately, they were also fully booked. It was such a stressful experience. The Tora Hotel staff were very helpful. They were really trying to help. I couldn’t say the same for trip.com costumer’s service. Their Japanese team were informed of the mishap by Tora hotel, and the ones they talked to told them they would give me a call to sort things out. They never did. I was only able to reach them through chat. Not only were their contact hotlines unreachable, but when I begged them to call me while chatting with them, they told me that all the number i gave them were unreachable (my roaming number, my companion’s roaming number, the tora hotel’s staff number), which was a bit odd because they were able to contact me twice days before the trip for my early check-in request. They dangled me for 2 hours, telling me they are trying to look for a hotel for me, but they were not able to do so. I ended up asking me to book my own hotel, and offering a refund and reimbursement for the price difference at least. IT WAS SO STRESSFUL. It was my last day in Tokyo and lost more than 2 hours of my planned day. It was their fault and I ended up fixing their own mistake. They did give me 6000 pesos worth of trip coins, but I don’t think I will ever ever use then because I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH TRIP.COM after this awful experience.

Let’s talk about it first…. The hotel just opened last year and the facilities are very new and clean. The location is very good, very close to Kaminariji Temple, and there are many restaurants nearby. The transportation is convenient, and there are less people at night. If you like a quieter night, it is very suitable. Moreover, I personally think the hotel mattresses are more comfortable than those in other hotels! but, If you want to book a large bed, you really need to look carefully. We, two adults, booked a double bed room. We didn't look carefully when booking, thinking it was a room with two mattresses (you can check the pictures on the official website). Two days before my departure to Japan, I took a closer look and found out that the bed in the room was a bunk bed with two floors. There was no mattress on the upper floor, but a wooden board (the concept of letting guests sit on the upper floor?). I tried to contact trip.con customer service, but the result was There was no room available for me to change, so I was asked to contact the Japanese hotel myself. In the end, the Japanese hotel had no way to help me change the room because I checked in automatically. We stayed for 4 nights and never went up there. We could only use it to store some clothes and coats. As for getting out of bed on one side (!), getting in and out of the bed is a bit troublesome. Moreover, because it is a bunk bed, basically half of the scenery outside the window is blocked, which feels a bit wasteful, because the scenery outside the window can see the temple, which is a very good scenery! Summarize, The above mistakes were caused by individuals not paying attention and have nothing to do with the hotel. I write such a long article just to share with other travelers coming to Tokyo that they should pay attention when booking this hotel. Because when traveling to Tokyo, everyone must be tired from shopping/shopping every day and go back to the hotel. If you go back to a comfortable hotel, you will be in a better mood! And I believe that the twin rooms in this hotel must be more beautiful and comfortable! (Official website picture) I paid HK$5391 for 4 nights this time. You can judge for yourself whether it is worth it!

We loved our stay at this hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and found the staff to be lovely (all spoke english), very helpful with navigating this amazing yet busy city. The rooms were very funky, although one of the double rooms somewhat on the smaller side as pictured but there was enough space for suitcases etc. The rooftop offered beautiful views. The hotel was close to supermarkets as well as skytree (worthwhile visiting and paying to go to the top for beautiful views over tokyo at night). It was in walking distance to Skytree train station with easy access to all of the major train lines. We tried the breakfast on a few occasions which wasn't cheap however offered a range of japanese and continental options. We loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone travelling to Japan!

Living on the fourth floor, there is no elevator, the stairs are very narrow, it is difficult to get a large suitcase, this is very important. Living on the fourth floor, there is a toilet room on the fourth floor, and the bath can only be taken to the third floor...

Close to the station, the apartment is tidy and neat. Can hear some noise (i.e. opening/closing the door) during the night. More than enough space for a couple.

Only the In room spa service is not convenient, the service phone displayed on the TV cannot be reached, the counter cannot be booked, the other parts are very good, especially the location is great, you can play until the last minute and then take Access to the airport! There is a lot of food nearby, there is a whole family next door, the Skytree is even more in front of you, we stayed here for five nights, the first day the plane arrived late, check in has ten o'clock, there is a 24-hour Matsuya opposite to the night can be a superb night, the large Life supermarket next to the Matsuya, it is very good to visit, You can buy the ingredients you want, and it's open until 11:00 pm!

Tokyo: Where Tradition Meets Futurism

Tokyo, Japan's bustling capital, is a fascinating city where the past coexists with the future. A hub of innovation, fashion, and gastronomy, Tokyo combines ultramodern architecture with centuries-old temples and shrines. It's an urban jungle that pulsates with energy, offering endless discoveries for visitors.

Journeying to Tokyo

Tokyo is served by two airports: Narita International Airport, handling the majority of international flights, and Haneda Airport, mostly for domestic flights and some international routes. The city has an extensive and efficient public transportation system, with its subway and train lines being the most convenient ways to travel.

The official currency is the Japanese Yen (JPY), and the main language is Japanese. English is not widely spoken, but signs in English are common in tourist areas. Japan's visa policy varies by nationality, so it's advised to check your requirements before traveling.

Tokyo's Must-Visit Attractions

Weather & Best Time to Visit Tokyo

Tokyo experiences a humid subtropical climate with four distinct seasons. Summers can be hot and humid, while winters are generally mild with occasional snowfall. The best times to visit are spring (March to May) for cherry blossom season and autumn (September to November) for the vibrant fall foliage. Layered clothing is recommended to adapt to changing temperatures in Tokyo.
