Rakuten STAY Tokyo Asakusa

Good location, It’s near to the Asakusa area and SkyTree tower by 15mins walk away! The room is clean and comfortable! ☺️ But is a challenge for foreigners to self check in.🤔

Cute hotel with Rakuten characters drawn on the walls. There is no staff on site. Not sure what happens if there is any issue. On the elevator (or near the entrance, I can’t remember) there was a signage/message which says to not smoke in the building nor streets around it. There were 2 guys standing in front of the hotel outside smoking and they went in and used the lift. We unfortunately had to use the lift after them and the lift was very smoky and smelly. It was terrible I must say. Size of the room was so so - not too small but can’t say it’s spacious. Also there was a sharp metal clip on the floor which I nearly stood on when I entered the room. Not sure what it was but certainly something we did not have.

Net far from Subway and near travel spot Asakusa and Tokyo Skytree. Clean and new

The picture is after I left, it was a amazing stay. The apartment was insane clean. The shower was perfect and the toilet also. On the pictures I thought the room was small, but at the end had really much space. The beds were really good also and it has a USB charging point. The location is close to a metro station, but mind most of the metros you will need will go from Asakusa Station and that is around 12 minutes walking, not bad but after a whole day walking can be a bit far.

Hotel near Asakusa Temple, easy to walk to. Good location, clean room, and good service, but the self check-in process was a bit difficult.

Reached before 10pm but it’s a self check in hotel So when we fill in time was rejected coz need to put full address instead of just the city we staying made like three time calls Pity if old folks come but it’s ok for us as newly wed couple The bed is comfortable love the splitting of toilet n bath tub Our view is very nice can see the tower from our window despite only staying second floor Nice got coffee machine in room as well Love they gave one use towel as well which is so absorbable Sprays were provided too But the toothbrush a bit small and hard pointy to use And lift got mirror to see nice!
