We had a last minute change with my husband and my father (52, and 83) to Taormina and so it was a challenge with very little prep time where to stay in a vertical place with my elderly father who is in good shape but challenged by long walks, inclines and extreme heat. We did it all-- close to the bus station (4 minutes), Corso Umberto (8 minutes), the Antico Teatrico and the view cannot be beat. There's souvenir shops and a mini mart within 4 minutes walk and the cable car is also only 5 minutes away. My husband and I enjoyed the pool and the views. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next morning before leaving. No one could be more helpful or nicer in this hotel.
CONS: It's a steep driveway to climb up and down for the elderly. Watching my dad in either direction was a little dicey and with his blood thinners I did not want him to take a spill.
PROS: Everything else.

This was a perfect location in Taormina. We walked to the bus to go up to Castlemora, walked to the main commercial area and the cable car to the beach was minutes away. The property was spectacular from a view perspective, dinner and breakfast were also wonderful. Really no complaints except a bit of snarliness from one of the desk folks.

Really lovely hotel in Taormina. It was a real
shame that they gave us the wrong location of the meeting point of a snorkel excursion that we had booked through Sirius. However all in all the place is lovely with an old school charm to it.

Setting is exquisite. Had a lovely room with a wraparound balcony overlooking the sea. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only issue - difficulty connecting to WiFi.

Great holiday. Loved the style of the hotel. We are a family of four with 10 and 8 year old girls, stayed in adjoining rooms, which were great, lots of space for us.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely gardens with great views across Ionian see towards mainland Italy.
Only had breakfast but thoroughly enjoyed the food.
Very handy location, close to bus station (but you wouldn’t know it, off the busy road and very quiet) and cable car down to the beach (of the path if you fancy the steps!). Easy walking to Corsa Umberto and Greek amphitheater.
Very happy we stayed there.

Traditional hotel, well maintained, friendly staff, good breakfast. Quiet location with great view close to the old city center of Taormina. Parking was 20 EUR per night and needs to be booked in advance. We were a family of 4 with two 8 year old kids and will come back!

The A/C did not work. The property claims to be 4-star but it was very old and needs a serious update. The breakfast was mediocre at best and we were never offered coffee/drinks. We were there for two breakfasts and saw other people getting service but no staff spoke to us. The front desk girls and luggage staff were excellent though. Very kind, helpful and pleasant to us. Good location. Easily walkable to the little town center. Very limited parking on site but we were able to find a spot in a nearby lot with the assistance/recommendation of the front desk.
