Would like to highlight an issue we encountered with regards to our deposit and certain charges that were made to us but which we had not incurred. When we were checking out, we asked to have a look at our statement of charges as we understood that any additional charges would be offset by the deposit placed with the hotel. We had dinner at ”The Prime -Grill and Lounge” on one of the nights and just wanted to check if the charges were right. The statement showed 3 separate bills that were not incurred by us and were all purchases of alcohol, which we found strange. When we brought this up with the front desk, the staff did not seem surprised at all with the error or sought to verify the same anywhere nor were we given any apology for the mistake. It was as though she already knew that those 3 charges were unanauthorised transactions and said that the hotel would rectify the issue with the bank in respect of our deposit. The front desk was also very adamant to not let us speak to her manager about the issue. We just wanted to highlight the above because we would usually just trust the hotel to refund the right amount of deposit without checking, especially when using credit card to pay the same. But it may be worth checking when it comes to this hotel as based on the reaction which we got from the front desk, it seems that such mistakes whether intentional or not have happened before. We also hope that the hotel would do some sort of investigation into how issues like this could happen.

Fengjia Night Market
Pretty nice hotel. Really like the common area, with coffee, small biscuits and utensils you need. I believe that the hotel room is smaller than most hotels in Taipei but still functional. There's a small fridge, place to put luggage, full length mirror, separate shower/toilet. Very friendly staff who explained to me where I could go in Taichung and helped to get me a cab to Taichung HSR.

Fengjia Night Market
Right at Fengchia Night Market, and in the shopping area, convenient with public transport. Walls are thin and we can hear inconsiderate tourists talking loudly right outside our door late at night and early morning. Kettle had white mist floating after boiling but hotel staff said it’s a normal sight in Taiwan. He said he has experience working in different hotels in Taiwan and has seen this countless times 🤨

The screw of the shower gel shelf pressed when taking a bath was loosely removed, and the hand was pierced resulting in injury. The hotel staff immediately sent ok bandages, and the next day sent a wine compensation apology. I felt that the hotel wanted to deal with it properly, and I didn't ignore it! It is recommended that breakfast would be better if there are more choices!

Check in on 12/1 Check out on 12/2 I booked the room first and then saw the reviews. To be honest, I was really worried at first and had the idea of canceling the reservation or not going there. But I still feel like I should give the boss a chance and I can’t get a refund by swiping my card hahaha🤣 But not too disappointed! I stayed in room 701 in the side room. There was a slight smell of smoke when I first entered the room. I don't smoke, but I can accept the slight smell of smoke! After all, it is not a hotel level and it is impossible to strictly require the neighbors next door to abide by the rules🥲 The bed, pillows, floor, and even the toilet and sink in the room are really clean. I saw a message saying that the window grooves were full of cigarette butts (I paid special attention to them🤣🤣There just weren’t any! I don’t know if I’m just too lucky or if the hotel is really improving! But to be honest, I am satisfied with the CP value for a double room that is less than 1,000 yuan! ! ps. But I took the initiative to contact the hotel from booking to checking out. Hahahaha, they really won’t contact me even after a phone call or a message. You have to be proactive when booking a room by yourself😅😅 The above small comments are shared with you who don’t have a high accommodation budget but don’t want to step on the wrong side! 🖤😏

Friendly and courteous front desk Comes with breakfast, I think it’s ok I don’t drive, but the hotel can reserve a parking space which is convenient The only drawback is that the WiFi signal is not good...it's strange that the signal is bad only on the second day after checking in...I sent someone to check...but I couldn't find the reason.

No breakfast, no parking lot! Take care of everything yourself, don’t try for those who are not good at online operations! Because it is all operated by mobile phones and served by robots, it is simple and efficient, but there is no temperature, because there is no service staff, the overall is in place
