Had an enjoyable 3 nights stay at Jiangnan House. The hotel is nicely decorated, clean and the location is extremely convenient. 欢欢 and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend travellers who are looking to stay within the Guanqian Street area to book Jiangnan House.

Hidden boutique hotel in the residential area of the olden city in Suzhou. Like the minimalist and zen concept. The staff were overwhelming, called one of the night to ask if the room and stay is ok. I think it is not necessary to disturb the guest at night.

Love the vibe of the hotel but not the location as is only accessible by foot. Cumbersome pushing the luggage and navigating to the hotel with the luggage. However, later they told us that they can offer pick up and drop off service to assist with the luggage from pick up point. Which the hotel assisted at our check out 😊. Felt unsafe walking back to the hotel at night after being scam by taxi driver and left us at the silk store telling us not possible to drop us closer to the hotel.

2024.11 I stayed at Youxiong Guanqian Store for 3 nights with my 2.5-year-old baby. [Location] In the northwest alley at the intersection of Ganjiang Road and Linton Road in the old city of Suzhou, cars cannot enter. If you take a taxi, the nearest drop-off point (Bieyanghong Collection Store) is about 3-5 minutes walk away. When the subway on Linton Road is repaired, it will be closer from the east. There are also parking lots around, and you can drive yourself. [Travel] There is a battery car rental point (Lightning Tiger) at the east end of the alley, 68 yuan for 8 hours or 88 yuan a day, which is very convenient for strolling in the old city. It is also very good to take the subway or take a taxi. [Environment] Combining modern interior decoration design with Suzhou gardens, the hotel is full of scenery! The light is also no problem, it is very good to bring a camera! The ambient background music during non-rest time is a thumbs up! [Facilities and Services] The shower hot water is very good, there is welcome fruit when checking in, the beverage herbal tea in the minibar is very good, and the teabags are from TWG. The staff was very considerate. When we left, we checked out 1.5 hours late and helped us deliver our large luggage to the alley entrance. We also gave our baby a banana and a box of chocolates! [Food] The breakfast at Gusu Bridge was delicious! From 7 to 10:30, the time was also ample. But it's not worth it. If you order the same meal directly in the store, it only costs about 40 yuan. The main reason is that there are too many snacks in Suzhou. The "Pearl Restaurant", "Manhaoge Baozi (Old Pre-school Store)" and "Dumb Fried Dumplings" around Youxiong Hotel are all quite delicious.
