Residence Hotel Takayama Station

This hotel is incredibly comfortable. The full kitchen facilities and the washing machine with dryer in the room are definite highlights. It was fantastic to be able to buy premium Hida beef from the supermarket and cook it myself!

I highly recommend this apartment in Hida Takayama! It's small but has everything you need, and staying here for two nights was incredibly satisfying! The facilities are unbelievably comprehensive: * Washer-dryer combo * Oven * Microwave * Three-burner induction hob * Frying pan/stock pot/dish soap/mini-fridge/small table/small balcony They even provide laundry pods and trash bags – all your daily necessities are covered. It truly feels like staying at your own home, making cooking and laundry super convenient. **📍 The location is absolutely perfect!** The address is the name of the place itself, right next to Takayama Station, so it’s super easy to find. The building is right by the station, making it accessible and convenient. Cross the traffic light and go straight, and you'll reach the supermarket and Maruaki butcher shop. You can buy Hida beef and grill it yourself back at the apartment – a fantastic experience! The surrounding area offers incredibly convenient transportation and access. Miyagawa Morning Market is within walking distance, and even the temple from the movie *Your Name*'s filming location is a short walk away. Shirakawa-go (Gassho-zukuri Village) is just a 15-minute bus ride away – getting anywhere is a breeze. The room is clean and cozy. For independent travelers or families, this is a no-brainer. Staying here in Takayama was truly comfortable and enjoyable!

Conveniently located just a few steps from the station. I was initially worried about potential noise, but the soundproofing was excellent, and it was very quiet at night. The room was spacious enough and had a kitchen, which was great for preparing simple meals. Not far from the hotel, just west past the tunnel, there's a large Boss Food Market where you can buy groceries, which was a nice bonus.

The place is really spacious, and you can cook your own meals, which is super convenient! The Nohi Bus Terminal is right downstairs, and JR Takayama Station is only about 100 meters away. There's a supermarket a few hundred meters from here too, so buying groceries and cooking is a breeze! It was such a pleasant surprise, totally exceeded my expectations. I thought a hotel for a few hundred bucks wouldn't be that great, but this place is huge and even has laundry facilities and a kitchen.

Great location, and most importantly, it has kitchenware for cooking! We bought beef from the supermarket and cooked it ourselves – amazing value for money. If I visit again, I'd definitely stay here. Highly recommend!
