Xuanya Hotel (Chengdu Chunxi Kai Koo Li)

I understand that this is a budget hotel, and for the price I paid, I wasn't expecting a four-star experience. However, what disappointed me was that the actual room looked nothing like the photos. The room was very old and much smaller than expected. The biggest reason I checked out after only two days, despite booking six nights, was the bathroom. The photos showed a separate shower cubicle, but in reality, the shower was right next to the toilet. There was a shower curtain rod positioned directly over the toilet bowl, so the toilet would get completely wet every time I took a shower. The bathroom was also extremely small and uncomfortable to use. I also paid extra for a better room because I needed a workspace. The room shown in the listing included a table and chair, but the actual room had neither.
