The room was not as big as the description, and the overall look was very dark, so the whole room seemed a bit worn out. In addition, Ctrip's room description includes breakfast, but after many inquiries and communication with the hotel front desk, I said that there is no corresponding provision. Although Ctrip finally reimbursed me according to the invoice, the hotel and Ctrip, a third-party platform, made a mistake and finally affected my mood. Overall a failed check-in process. Although the hotel environment is good, but the location is far from the beach, which does not meet my choice of location.
The room is not clean enough; there was dust on the glass wall behind the curtain, and a stain on the teacup that I had to clean it. I highly expected better, considering it's a 5-star hotel and residence. However the view and the location are incredible.
It is a conveniently located and comfortable accommodation. The quality of the breakfast buffet was excellent, and it was very cozy and ideal for staying with family.

Had an upgrade from an Executive Suite to Family Suite giving more room space with views of the beach and daily room services kept our Suite fresh and clean. The Breakfast menu was always our go to and got us ready for our busy day. Thank you Novotel Surfers Paradise for always making our stay feeling like home.
The hotel is excellent in almost all respects. Great location, amenities, and service. Highly recommend splurging on the ocean suites for scarcely-believable views of the ocean, of the sunrise, the Esplanade and even ocean wildlife. From our 75th floor view, we were able to spot humpback whales early in the morning. The suites are basically fully-equipped apartments with washer/dryers, full kitchens and two full baths. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub on the fifth floor are a great place to watch the sunset. Perhaps having a staff member in the indoor pool area to prevent kids from jumping around in the indoor hot tub would have allowed adults to relax in there.
The Castaway coffee shop on the street level is a great place for breakfast and coffee, and the independent Italian restaurant on the second floor is excellent as well.
Would return and recommend. The only recommendation is for the hotel to provide power adapters to international guests. All other 5-Star hotels in the area readily provide these.
This is my second stay. It should be the best hotel (apartment) in Surfers Paradise. Generally, apartments are cleaned every three days, but Soul cleans every day. The location is very good. Just downstairs and across the road is the beach. There are many restaurants around, which is convenient for dining. The room is very large and spacious, very suitable for family travel. I will choose Soul again next time. It's really great!
The hotel is within 10 minutes walk from the coastal beach. We booked the two-bedroom and one-washroom and gave the 27th floor of the tower3. Every room and living room can see the sea view, which is very good. Downstairs is the supermarket, there are many restaurants nearby, and the bus stop is just across the road from the hotel. It is very convenient. Kitchen utensils are readily available and it is convenient to cook for yourself. The only downside is that the toilet is not well ventilated.
It was a great stay, the spa and sauna were definitely the highlights and staff were super friendly. Just need a smart tv so guest can watch Netflix etc.
It was a cozy place to stay in. Room is clean and spacious even if you have lots of luggages. Loved the mini kitchen/dining, very aesthetic. Although the sink is quite small, especially if you're washing the utensils but, still manageable 😉. Tram station is just a few steps away, going to and from to other places is not an issue.
Great stay! Perfect for kids and adults alike with the choice of both the pool and ocean. Just wish I had booked the sea view. I couldn’t fault the service especially when addressing an issue with our parking.

GGuest UserModerate room with everything nearby, the pool is especially nice & Japanese restaurant is a must try
HHKRayKBooked a one bedroom ocean spa apartment for 6 nights in Mid Oct 2024. Stayed on 38 floor. First impression when entering that apartment was ”great view”.
Apartment is spacious and very clean, kitchen facility has stocked with many pot & pan and utensils, can make regular meals with no issue. Also has washer & dryer too. There is a jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom that is a bonus!
We brought food from Coles supermarket (walking distance from Q1) and made breakfast and dinner.
To get to Q1 resort from Gold Coast airtport, We brought a public transport card ”GO” from shop in airport arrival hall, took the airport bus #777 from airport (30 minutes ride) to Broadbeach, transfer to the local tram, get off at Surfers Paradise stop. Q1 resort is right across the street. The whole ride is last than 45 minutes, cost only 50 cents AUD., great deal!!
BTW, all bus & tram ride within Gold Coast area is 50 cents. So get a GO card. Just make sure you tap on and off with each ride.
PPenguinOnTheMoveAmazing views! Staff were very helpful. Great location, so easy to get around.
They moved us to a bigger room when we needed to add an extra bed.
Definitely staying here again when I’m back in Surfer’s Paradise.
HHopeful DoughnutsServiced apartments a short walk from Surfers Paradise beach, 5 mins walk G:link light rail stop (Cypress Avenue). It's also 3 mins to Budds Beach which is a nice quiet sunset spot. Stayed in a one bed which was very spacious (~70-80sqm?) and, southfacing, had a good view of the city lights at night and with glimpses of Surfers Paradise beach. Cleanliness was quite good, but you have to take the rubbish out yourself, since there's no housekeeping. Amenity-wise, it's all self contained with your own dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The lobby cafe isn't the cheapest but very handy if you're heading out on a day trip but don't have time to pop out for brunch in Surfers first.
GGuest UserLocation is near to surfer paradise north tram station. Nice ocean view. 1 aircon was leaking, the other aircon had noises. Housekeeping didn't turn up, we stayed for 7 nights. Dish washing detergent and sponge were not provided, we are unable to wash utensils at the kitchen. The dishwasher does not get the utensils clean...
GGuest UserIts a very old hotel, room was quite clean inside however in much need of a renovation as so much was old, slightly broken and outdated. The outside area (bbq and pool) was incredibly dirty and neglected. Tiles all cracked inside the “small pool” which im sure was supposed to be a spa that doesnt work and everything was mouldy and unkept.
The location is good if you want to be near caville ave.
Paying and extra $15 per night for parking isnt reasonable on top of the booking cost. This is maybe a 3 out of 10
Kids liked the water slide which was the only redeeming quality.
GGuest UserSurfers Beach Holiday Apartments was a great place to stay for our family. The management was helpful. Rooms were of a good size. The location is quiet. It is a easy walk to catch the G:tram. This makes getting to Surfers Paradise or other locations easy. Riding the G is also much cheaper and easier than trying to find parking for the car. While we were there, there were few people using the pool. Our grandkids had a great time... and mostly had the pool to themselves. I didn't realize there wasn't an elevator.(My fault for not checking.) Being on the third floor normally wouldn't have been an issue. Because of health issues for one of our family members, it would have been easier if we had been on a lower floor. If I had contacted the management when booking they said they would have tried to give us a lower floor. It's a great place and I highly recommend it.
LLittle Bear 29Excellent service at this hotel, and loved getting the text offering a cheaper 3rd day stay, took them up on offer, very happy and would stay here again. Only one street over from light rail stop and even nearer to bus stop.
GGuest UserOverall good feeling
Advantages:
1. Very clean, the room infrastructure is relatively complete, and the room is also very new.
2. The room is large, with a large balcony, kitchen, living room, two rooms, and two bathrooms.
3. There are many restaurants downstairs, the hotel is very close to the beach, and there is a tram station nearby, with convenient transportation.
4. You can use all the facilities and equipment of the Hilton Hotel, such as swimming pool, gym, etc.
Disadvantages:
1. There is no 24-hour front desk service, and there are only office staff from 10am to 5pm. It will be difficult to contact them if you have something. For example, I forgot to take a plug cord this time. I contacted them through Ctrip at 3 pm local time, but the front desk did not respond until late the next morning. However, the items had been cleaned, so the whole service was very delayed and inconvenient. (This is the main problem)
2. There is an additional cleaning fee of 158 Australian dollars before check-in, which is not cheap when combined with the hotel fee.
3. Breakfast is not included. Of course, you can also eat nearby. There are many restaurants nearby, which is not a big problem.
4. The quilt provided is a bit thin, so you may need to pay attention to this if you go there in winter. You can ask the customer service if there are any spare ones before booking a hotel.
GGuest UserThe best resort we have ever been to! A paradise for both kids & adults. So many activities for parents and kids to do & waterpark & kids club was a hit! Cannot wait to come back again!
