You make a parking booking and they just ignore it. Booked our stay two weeks ahead, 1 night for 280 eur in a suite. It is a busy old town lakeside area, so wanted to make sure we have parking space. Car is packed to the roof, moving countries for the summer, so no option to park far from the hotel. Website suggests you should book one of the limited parking spaces near the hotel, another parking is 500 m away. They send a reminder 8 days prior to makes sure to book a parking so I write an email that very important we book a parking near the hotel. No response. 2 days later i call them that I want to book a parking "oh yes, we already booked it for you" on the phone - lovely. We get there "we cant find your parking booking - but no problem we have a parking not so far away" - I explain them that I know that "other parking" is 500 m away and our car is full of stuff I need a parking near, and I did make a booking, I even sent an email "and did you get a response confirmation?" I say no, so exactly that's why I called 2 days after "well, we don't take parking bookings thru the phone" - boom. No apology, no sorry, they really act like it is now me who just made it all up!!!! I got really mad, and turned out the lady who took my call back 7 days ago was the hotel owner, so i wanted to get her on the phone and clarify this "I cannot call her, it is her rest time" - aha. As I insisted they offered me a plot "only for a small car", into which I managed to squeeze in our SUV with 3 cm in the back and 4 cm in the front, unable to open the boot and scratching the front against a steel column as I was squeezing in, as "you need t o put the car really close to the side otherwise other cars cannot exit the yard". Never again here.
