We love Stratford upon Avon as a venue especially when there is something on at the RST and there was! Love's Labour's Lost! Brilliant and so funny, and we'll acted. Two evening we went to a wonderful Thai restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. William Shakespeare 's church was a great visit. The walls by the river and the backstreets were full of interest

Such a cute and lovely hotel at Shakespear’s town Just like how the name suggests, the location offers a central yard, green entrance through the car park and next to the river bank where tens of swans gather around for food. The hotel is very cute and offers good walking distance to most attractions in town, yet being tucked away from the noise of the bar street. The town is pretty much sleepy after 9pm but the hotel has a restaurant that runs till 11pm in case you’re still hungry at late night.

Great location , managed to park easily and check in staff very friendly and helpful super comfy beds and pillows. Standard rooms are a little tired looking and maybe could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly, but overall a lovely break and I would definitely stay here again

It is an old and dated hotel that has had some update and maintenance, spiders & webs are visible throughout. The customer service is excellent and welcoming and the heat of the room and air con was dealt with on request. Ideal location central to Stratford Upon Avon, walking distance of everything local. Overall a good experience.

This is a well placed traditional hotel. It offers basic bedroom accommodation with ensuite. Food and drink is offered by way of an independently run "Bistro". We only had breakfast. The bar closed at 10pm (before we returned from the play so not available to us. Breakfast was a disappointment by modern European standards and also compared with the average b&b. The breakfast options were variations on a cooked breakfast with toast and the possibility of croissants or alternative french type breakfast patisserie. Cereals were limited cornflakes or similar/ Coffee was served nicely and appeared to be (and was called ) Americano i.e. not quite strong enough for the espresso lover. There was no hot milk so coffee was essentially lukewarm and weak. Muesli or fruit were absent. The scrambled eggs were overcooked. The staff were friendly and helpful but appeared overworked. Brexit and lack of alternative staff clearly taking its toll. So many ways the breakfast experience could be improved. All this is a pity because the location and the reasonably priced parking make for an ideal spot.

The quality has always been stable, the room is neat and clean, this time it directly faces the hotel's own garden, and the view is very beautiful. The type of breakfast remains unchanged, it is still the traditional British breakfast, mushrooms, grilled sausages, bacon, baked beans and scrambled eggs. It’s just that the parking fee has increased this time, to 8 pounds per night. Prices in the UK are generally rising.

Location was great. In addition, I ate lunch at the restaurant, but it was very delicious and cost performance was very good. Clean but not perfect as towels and facilities are old. I think it's worth the price.
