We arrived at the hotel at 1pm on Christmas Eve. The front staff insisted we have to wait until 3pm to check in unless we pay extra $25.
The TV in the room didn’t work. The AC is very noisy.

Checked in was terrible. Booked through *******. Booking said pay at property. Checked in late and got there and the front desk could not find my booking due to they canceled my reservation without bothering calling me. Booked for amount of $164 a night but front desk charged regular price of $229. Asked why and he said that is their reugalar rate talked to manager at home working with kids noises in the background waited for a while so manager can figure out the problem. It was a long checked in and terrible specially the reason to be there is for the kids to enjoy the pool but pool was full of dust and sand. Never going back again.

We came to do the Tarleton tour with our daughter. It was a decent hotel, really needs some upgrades, but I'd stay there again. I'm very picky with hotels too. They did have some awesome yogurt with granola for breakfast. Could of went without the mini juice box orange and apple juices, they were no good and weird for an adult.

Location and all aspects of the hotel amenities were fabulous. Our only complaint was that the hotel was noisy until 2:00 am due to inconsiderate guests. We finally resorted to calling the front desk after someone banged into our door. Looking into the hallway, there was a man laying in the floor clothed in only a towel with a toothbrush in his mouth. Not a pleasant surprise. After calling the front desk, the noise was not as bad. Needless to say, we were not rested upon beginning our next day's activities.
Otherwise, our time in the hotel was very good.

I was put into a room that I did not request. I needed a 2 beds and was put in a room with one bed. I was told there was nothing they could and had to sleep 3 people in one bed.

Nice hotel with nice staff.
My only complaint was that the hot and cold water were backwards in the bathroom sink. Hot should be to the left and cold should be to the right. It was the other way around. I wondered why it took a while for the water to heat up, and then I realized why
