Pool closed registration was rude very dated had to drive thru vacant parking lots to get to it not what I was expecting

This is a newer hotel and everything was clean and in working order. It is easy to get to from I-70 and lots of dining within walking distance. Desk clerks were friendly and helpful.

The room was absolutely disgusting from sticky floors throughout the whole room to a shower curtain that was like 3 feet from the shower so the floor would get soaked. Also the night time clerk was straight up rude at check in. I was told they would take money off my bill when I complained the next morning but they never did.

This is probably the cleanest motel I have stayed in and staffed by individuals with a fantastic work ethic.
First of all, I don't know when this Inn was built, but it looks brand new. Our room was impeccably clean, as was the pool area, the lobby, hallways, and the morning breakfast area.
While walking through the lobby during a slow part of the day, I noticed why... the mgr. was sweeping the floor, the maintenance man was meticulously scrubbing the tile and grout in the pool, and the front desk staffer was washing the entrance area doors and windows. And the kicker was they all appeared happy and enjoying what they were doing. It reminded me of someone polishing and touching up their classic car before the judging started.
All I can say is kudos to the mgr. She is definitely a very good captain of this Country Inn!
Also, there are dozens of places to eat nearby within a few minutes drive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Would have appreciated housekeeping. Was told it was only done for those staying 5 nights. We stayed 4. Therefore no beds made, trash removed, toiletries and towels were not restocked. 😩

Room was fine, beds were fairly comfortable and temp was managed well using thermostat in room. The TV was small, there weren't many channels and some were not in HD and had awful quality. Breakfast was decent, the hot foods seemed like they were just warmed up over and over.

My concern is the ending time for breakfast. It was 9:30 during the week and 10:30 on weekends. When you are staying at the Inn more than one night, we like to sleep late but we will miss breakfast. Not only is the door closed at 9:30/10:30, but the food is immediately removed from the serving bar. Thus, if you get in the door by the cutoff time, you must get the food you want fast for it will be removed. I can understand having a door closing time, but if someone enters the doors before closing, he should be able to eat and not have the food removed.
