The Seacare Hotel

Stayed here with the family and its probably the worst stay I've had in my many experience staying at different accommodation in over 10 years. I have many complaints I'll probably wont remember to include ...but to start; 1. Location was decent, but quite disappointing. Because it was quite a walk to landmarks they said in their listing were close. Except Chinatown 2. There were broken items in the rooms. Minor but still not a good look. 3. Hot Water didnt work the 1st day, and it was quite hard to keep water temperature constant. (there was a day that we had to set the faucet to max cold, so we could get hot shower pouring). 4. My parents had a problem with their room's AC. It kept turning off after some time, and even when they asked for help, the same problem still persisted. 5. Staff were quite rude and have no sense of responsibility. It felt that they hardly give a care about their customer needs and if you ask or request something from them, they will just try to dismiss you quick in any means they can. 6. their RATES are not worth the quality & service for what you'll pay for. 7. Not a 4 star hotel as they advertise in my opinion, even in a business hotel standard.... They have very minimal amenities, and again service was the worst experience ive had in a long time. Ive stayed in lower rated hotels that're way above them in most aspect. 8. Room was small. Cant complain much here though. 9. Wifi was quite slow & intermittent at times. 10. They didnt clean and change our room one time. 11. Our room landline was disconnected by their staff... Which I dont know the reason why. (Maybe so they could avoid us 😂) 12. Not my experience... but I saw a group of people who had their new years eve celebration at their in house bar/pub, who were not allowed to stay in their lobby when they couldn't find a taxi (i did at least see one of the staff assist them outside to help find a taxi - still, a little humility would be nice. They were old people too.) Im sure there were more reasons why I wouldnt reccomend this hotel. But it was the staff that I was mostly disappointed with (specially the staff who wears shade) ... My other grievance were just mostly triggered by this factor. On a positive note... I like how it was quite close to chinatown. It was a bit of walk but not much to complain about there. There was at least one staff who was very nice to us. So thats a plus. Near hospital just in case of emergency.

Nice hotel. Clean room. Friendly staff. Fast check in. Great stay. Very ideal location in the heart of Singapore as it’s walking distances to various amenities and restaurants for a good night out! 2 mins walk to Singapore River too. Near to shoping centre.

The room is a little small, but it is still cost-effective to bring children. After all, there is a washing machine. There are not many choices for breakfast, and it will be gone if you go late during holidays, but snacks and drinks are always available. Late night snacks are also available at 6pm. The location is also very good, and the subway and bus are very convenient!

An interesting concept to try out if one hasn’t been in this layout before. We were greeted with welcome drinks. However MEMO brunch menu (see photos) which we ordered was disappointing and it’s not worth the dollars. Thank god we were given disc as hotel members otherwise it wouldn’t be worth. Nevertheless, the MEMO crew is friendly and polite, and their coffee and croissant are both good. For the amenities, we were disappointed that the treadmills were faulty during our stay. Other than that, the location was convenient and accessible.

Quiet and comfortable, many people run along the river in the morning and evening. The location is convenient, downstairs is the casual restaurant and bar along the river, especially there are many Italian restaurants and Japanese restaurants. Seven or eight minutes’ walk from the subway, there are fresh supermarkets such as cold storage next to it, and the hotel’s kitchen is well-equipped, making it suitable for a small stay.

We had a 3 bedroom apartment and it was amazing. The beds were just like ours at home. Our house keeper didn't speak English only Chinese but she was amazing and made our place look and smell amazing everyday. We would go to breakfast and by the time we got back our room was done. Decor is dated but it doesn't detract from how amazingly clean everything is. Din at reception was awesome on our arrival and only too happy to help. We would definitely stay here again and only a short walk to the MRT plus they have a shuttle that runs on a timetable to go to Orchard Rd. Overall a fantastic place.
