Anansaya la Maison

Siem Reap|1.23km from Brasat Kauk Chok Pagoda
Anansaya La Maison, located conveniently near Angkor Wat, offered a well-rounded experience. Negotiable scooter rentals provided by the hotel significantly enhanced our exploration flexibility. The standout feature was undoubtedly the complimentary massage, which was superbly relaxing. The hotel welcomed us with a free airport transfer, an appreciated gesture. However, a subsequent airport transfer incurred a $40 charge, which felt disproportionately high for the short distance involved and the current fuel prices in Cambodia. The maintenance of the hotel was exemplary, demonstrating the staff's dedication to providing a clean and welcoming environment. Our room faced the wall of an adjacent building, which, while not ideal, was a minor inconvenience as we spent most of our time out exploring. Breakfast options were basic but were partly made up for by the inclusion of delicious exotic fruits. A particularly convenient amenity was the complimentary laundry service, which we found very useful. A delightful addition to our stay was the daily offering of a complimentary non-alcoholic drink and a small snack by the pool, making our time there even more enjoyable. We chose to dine outside the hotel every evening, a decision we did not regret. The local dining scene offered a plethora of fresh and healthy options (checkout the vegetarian restaurants), allowing us to immerse ourselves in the culinary diversity of Siem Reap and enjoy authentic local flavors. In conclusion, Anansaya La Maison serves as a commendable base for visitors to Angkor Wat, with its blend of thoughtful amenities and excellent location. While there were minor drawbacks such as the view from our room and the charge for a second airport transfer, the overall experience was enhanced by the hotel's hospitality.

Exquisite, comfortable and top quality luxury small hotel. The location is a bit far from the city center, but Siem Reap is very small, so it is actually 10-15 minutes to get to the city center by tutuk. I chose this place because I like to be quiet and come to the Angkor Marathon. The surrounding areas are all residential areas, which will look very run-down, but walking into the hotel gate is another world. The bedding was particularly satisfactory, the bed was large, clean and comfortable. Good luck, upgraded the big room by the pool and really enjoyed it. There are not many rooms in the hotel so the waiters take care of every guest. Breakfast is a la carte, it feels much better than buffet breakfast, taste and quality are very good, I feel like eating a big meal in the morning. The waiter's English is very good, and the attitude is enthusiastic and modest. During my stay in the hotel, I had dinner, laundry, swimming pool, and spa services. Impeccable. It is very suitable for rest, and guests who like quiet and more private space, but if you want to go out at night, you have to ask the hotel for help. The leaving manager and your dedicated waiter will take you to the door to say goodbye, very warm. Will have the opportunity to come here again and recommend to friends. But oh, the only minor regret is that we have been treated as Taiwanese or Hong Kong guests. We have corrected it twice. Unfortunately, our lovely waiter has not remembered it, but it will not affect the overall impression of the hotel ~ see you next time.

I'm Japanese. I stayed at this hotel for one night to see the Encore Wat ruins. The location is very good, about 10 minutes by bike to the city pub street and 15 minutes to Encore Wat. The hotel was very kind, and even if I arrived at the hotel around 23:00, I asked for check-in procedures, rental bikes, and taxi arrangements, and they were willing to accept it. Rental bikes were also lent for $12 a day, which was a very enjoyable trip. I would like to stay again when I visit Siem Reap again. The disadvantage is 1. I think it will take a taxi fee for those who do not rent a motorcycle (it took $10 to get back and forth from the hotel early in the morning to Encore Wat) 2. It may have been bad to use, but I felt a little inconvenient because the shower temperature did not rise.

A small and exquisite hotel with everything that should be available, and the price is quite reasonable. There are two points of praise. One is that the customer service is very friendly, and the waiter in the restaurant is also very attentive; the other is that the front desk is asked to handle some document transmission and scanning, and the attitude is very cooperative. But there are two regrets. One is that the next door is said to have raised a frog with a loud scream and one night. The other is that the towels and slippers feel a bit old, and the TV program list is a little gray. During the epidemic, some things may not be perfect, I hope it can be better, because it is a very charming and exquisite small hotel.

Corresponding price It is unexpectedly a very standard hotel. The hygiene is very good. The bedding is very good. The room is large and there are two 1.8-meter beds. There is a coffee machine. I heard that it is a hotel with less than ten rooms. The food produced by the hotel, including free snacks, is not worse than the popular chanrey tree. Although the location is a bit biased, a free one-way car to the city is arranged. During the emergency period, all hotel staff wear masks. The housekeeping staff is also very careful twice a day and the housekeeping staff is great. The front desk staff was also very helpful and friendly.

Advantages: the hotel is not very big, so it is very quiet; the hotel staff is very enthusiastic and will work hard to solve the problems raised by the guests; there is no problem with English communication; there will be breakfast boxes for customers who go out early; the room is large; the hotel is in the middle of a swimming pool, the lights are very quiet at night; Disadvantages: The location of the hotel is relatively biased, 8 or 9 minutes drive from the central night market, and the hotel does not provide free tutu car service; the hotel is in a small alley, there are no restaurants around convenience stores; because the hotel is small, your restaurant is not guaranteed to open every night; Wi-Fi is very unstable; In the morning, you have to wait more than 1 minute for hot water to take a bath; breakfast is not a buffet, but a la carte set meal (two categories of Cambodian and Western style, one has 5 or 6); in the case of early packages, one person can order a set meal, more than a separate extra charge; personally feel that Western style is better than Cambodian.

Palm Village Resort & Spa

After 2 weeks of a hectic schedule we got to Cambodia. Palm Village has allowed us time to unwind. The pool is the best pool that I have experienced both size and temperature. The location in the suburbs is absolutely brilliant as we were able to avoid the noise of Siem Reap and visit the Temples in our own time with transport arranged via the hotel. We picked up a guide at the temples who stayed with us for the day. The rooms are quirky but very comfortable with large beds excellent AC and fridge. The bathrooms are amazing as is the bath. We decided to just chill here and the service and food felt like 5 star.
