A very nice and unique hotel in Shanghai. Location is perfect, with lots of eateries around. Beddings are comfortable. There seem a lot of events abd weddings going everyday. So it might be a little bit touristy inside the hotel. NEVERTHELESS enjoyed my stay here. Got to feel the nature in the centre of Shanghai

I had an excellent experience and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was lovely - spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Tommy Ma handled my check-in and was incredibly friendly and hospitable. His top-notch customer service really made me feel welcome. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again during my future visits. The entire staff provided five-star service that made my trip remarkable. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for travelers looking for a fantastic place to stay.

Selected the hotel as a trip.com diamond member and was offered to be given the benefit of accessing the hotel lounge which turned out to be a disappointment as the so called happy hour had nothing much except a couple of plates of snacks and some drinks. The lounge service is pretty ordinary, staff there were kind of so bored standing round. This is a total gimmick from both the hotel and Trip.com . However, the breakfast was good with a nice range of selections and decent service. Overall, the hotel amenities are starting to look dated and tired and the pool was tiny with the surrounding facilities look also a bit shabby. The 5 star status remain to be challenged.

Breakfast not good, limited selections, coffee machine not working properly, even then only expresso and americano available. Services not good as well, staff talking to each other most of the time. Room facilities, like bed, sofa and bathroom are old and rundown.

Could see the hotel's basically remants of some classy types in the past (the building and bathroom etc.) but not sure re value for money/friendlieness, was given a room on the first floor (cathay gardens, or the low south building) with view completely blocked by walls. Staff in reception/cafeteria all very businesslike. To be fair it might have felt a harsh contrast coz visited after disneyland. Still, would try tower or other nearby hotels if visiting shanghai next time

The hotel has a relatively small front, but the location is excellent. It is only a few minutes walk to Tianzifang and Xintiandi. In Shanghai, where land is at a premium, being able to live in the central area is very helpful for traveling and experiencing the charm of the city.

Highly recommended! We had a great stay! 1) The room was small but clean and comfortable; 2) The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Thank you so much!; 3) The location is excellent - it's really near to exit 3 of Madang Road Station (5min walk). There are restaurant and bakeries nearby; 4) The hotel is generous, they offer not only 2 free bottles of water in the room but also free pick at the lift lobby Would definitely stay again when in Shanghai!

In general, staff don’t speak and read English, even basic words for hospitality industry. When I first showed my booking to receptionist to check in, she didn’t check at all and told me to ask customer service in Trip. I guess she didn’t understand the booking I had shown her. So highly recommend to show chinese version of your booking to smooth check-in process. Except language barrier, everything (facilities, staff attitute, cleaness,…) is almost perfect.

I like this B&B very much. The projection quality is very good, the high-definition large screen is warm and comfortable overall. There are many green plants and decorative dolls in the room. It is very clean. The two beds are very spacious and the bedding is comfortable and relieves fatigue. The landlord's housekeeper was also very considerate and introduced us to delicious and fun places in the surrounding area. At the entrance of the community is an Internet celebrity coffee shop ops that always has a queue. I really like Caturron Punch. The house is located in the city center. It is very convenient to walk to the Otology Hospital, Zhongshan Hospital, Huashan Hospital, and the Conservatory of Music. The staying experience is great!

I have stayed at Youxi Movie Hotel at 242 Ju Lu Road, Shanghai, China about three and half weeks from 13th November to 5th December. I had a wonderful time there. It located at the central Shanghai and is close to many entertainment centres and tourist attractions and shopping centra. The staffs at Youxi Movie Hotel were very helpful and friendly and the service is excellent. It was very surprise to me that my room is very quiet at night and you can watch a film on the wall while you are in the bed. My room is quite big so once I had my friends came over to watch the movie and chatter. And this hotel is quite new and the my room is very clean too.
