It was perfect in every way. I was thinking about Fairmont and Waldorf and chose Waldorf. Choosing Waldorf was really the best choice. It was hard to enter and exit Fairmont because there were so many tourists. Foreigners like me definitely recommend going to Waldorf. And make sure to upgrade to the riverside view room. You can see the best view of Waitan lying down in bed. And Steven Diep! You made our trip perfect. I will not forget your service and kindness. Thank you.

I was traveling alone with my 7 year old daughter and stayed here for one night. We loved all the help we got. All the amenities were very convenient for us and all the staff was very helpful. Selene offered my daughter some treats upon arrival and some gifts when we left as well as offered suggestions on where to eat that would be most comfortable for my daughter. The overall feeling is pretty good. After all, given the price, it turns out to be some kind of hotel in Deutsche. It must have been renovated in cooperation with Huazhu? The exterior and the interior of the lobby feel quite new, and the rooms are quite big. After all, land is very valuable in Shanghai, and it is very close to the Bund. There is a ferry station across the road, a bus station at the door, double-decker buses, and the subway. The station is not very close. You still have to walk for a while to get out of Yuyuan Station. There is a little brother at the door to help carry your luggage. The room is generally okay. The bathroom feels like it's not a young hotel. The washbasin has a smell and can be yellowed, but there are no other problems. The slippers seem to be of average quality. I feel they are not in line with the hotel's positioning. The inner layer will stick 😂 The set meal for the advance tour did not include breakfast, so I didn't go to the restaurant. The service was still very warm, and baked cookies were given as a gift when I checked in. Biscuit, although the floor is high, the elevator is also very fast. Overall, I am satisfied. There is a small episode when checking out, but it is not a big problem. If there are activities and suitable prices, local dogs will still stay there again. See you again when we are destined.

The Hotel is ideally situated near to the bund and Nanjing pedestrian street with lots of shopping and restaurants within a short distance. The Breakfast served was more than adequate and their are 2 Coffee shops and 2 mini markets directly outside. Enjoyable stay.

really glad we chose this hotel!!! the location is perfect, beside a few other much more expensive hotels like fairmont peace hotel and the shanghai edition! only downside i can think of is that there is no pickup/dropoff area in the hotel as it is along the walking street! it didnt affect us much as we ended up going to fairmont peace hotel pickup area to get on our DiDi rides they give comfy room slippers, herbal shampoo, body wash & conditioner, toothbrush and toothpaste, bath salts, and even have unlimited bottles of water right outside the lift! the room was clean and spacious enough for 2 (we had 2 large luggages and 2 carry on luggages total) high recommend!!! 😊👍👍👍

The hotel is located in the lane behind Bangkok Bank on the Bund. It is very convenient to return to the hotel after staying on the Bund at night. Since the building is a hundred years old, the floor will make noise in some places and the sound insulation is very poor. Guests need to bear with this when checking in. The store managers are very friendly and eager to help. The other two kittens in the store are so cute that I couldn’t bear to part with them when I left!

The hotel is located at level 11 or 12 of the building. Not all the floors belongs to the hotel. The staffs attitude is cold but helpful in some way. They also offer free laundry and dryer that you can use at level 12. For breakfast, you have to scan the QR at the reception via wechat to claim the breakfast from the vending machine. It is convenient but it is a struggle for those who do not read chinese.

The first time I stayed in the Youth Hostel, the experience was very good. Very close to the Bund, the location is not said. The room is very clean. I can change the sheets and quilts by myself. I can ensure that they are changed. The front desk brother is also very good. Everyone has a small locker. You can open it by swiping your card. The side is the storage cabinet. A whole row is storage! There are also many storage cabinets in the room! There are also under the bed! Then I was lucky to meet the girls very well, going to bed early and not disturbing each other. Just remember to bring your own toiletries and bath supplies

start with the room, it is quite small yet comes with everything you needed for good rest and recharge. I also like to give kudos to the staffs who are very helpful and offer assistance to wash and dry our clothes despite we are away from the self-service area. I also want to call out the ”supper” (Between 9:30 - 11:00pm) that offer to the hotel guest with no cost incurred. It is definitely a stay that exceeded my expectation, and it will be an icing on the cake if you are a Mandarin speaker, otherwise it can be quite a roller coaster for you. The only negative point is the ”gym” -＞ it is very small, and ill-equipped for gym junky. The treadmill is not functioning properly (run on it at your own risk!) - If you are someone like me to consider ”gym” as one of the important criteria for hotel selection, this hotel is regrettable a ”pass” for you.

Ji hotel has great location, right beside daimaru dept store and hongyi plaza. Walking distance to the bund. We stayed at family room (1 double + 1 single). Room is cleaned daily but only the floor, the bed isn’t made at all during our 4 night stay. They only clean the floor and replace towel. Hotel is non smoking but you can clearly smell cigarette smell in the hallway and bathroom. I suspect people upstairs or downstairs smoke in the bathroom. Free laundry in the first floor. Lack of basic amenities (toothbrush must ask the receptionist). Receptionists know little to no English, some are not very friendly.

Great location, just a short walk to the metro station and Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street. We upgraded the room with a reasonable fee to check-in earlier, the room was quite spacious and the bed was comfy. We were on the 6th floor but we could still hear loud noises from the residential area next to the hotel from night till morning and it was a quite annoying. But other than the noises, the stay was nice.

After living in, the children were very pleasantly surprised and very happy. I didn’t expect the room to be so big. The night view outside was very beautiful, although it was not a room on the Bund. What location is not easy to find, my daughter's customer service is still the location and pictures sent by the boss, and she quickly found the place, and the attitude is very good. If there is a problem, it will be solved immediately. We went out to play and came back to the garbage. Put it up, That is, the sound insulation of the door is perfect, the window is very soundproof, and the door has a gap. The location is great, it is really only a few minutes to the Bund. It is simply convenient at this location. It takes a lot of walking to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street to the Bund. I have stayed here for several days. I must give a good review! The service of this hotel is very commendable. It is also very close to the Bund. It is a great surprise to book such a cheap price in such a prime location. I also felt the human touch in the youth hostel for the first time in a long time.
