Hyatt Centric Zhongshan Park Shanghai

Zhongshan Park Commercial Area Shanghai|1.96km from Liwa River
The newly opened Hyatt has good hardware facilities and beautiful design. If you are a traveler, the current price of just over 1k, the hardware and the location are cost-effective. But there are a few very problematic areas! First, the service attitude is not good (only at the front desk). The service attitude of other hotel staff is online, but the service attitude of the hotel's front desk, including the manager, is very lacking. Including when checking in and checking out, the attitude towards receiving customers is cold. Secondly, when checking out, they were not told when the deposit would be returned. After many days of no response, I called the hotel to ask why the deposit was not returned, and clearly informed the hotel that, regardless of whether the deposit was refunded or not, they would at least respond to my current question. But after 24 hours, I did not receive any form of reply (during this period, I even contacted the hotel through Ctrip). Personally, I think that deposit refund is a very small thing and the amount is not large, but not informing the customer of the basic situation and not responding to the customer's request is a very unprofessional thing. Third, the room is not well soundproofed and the sound from the corridor is very clear. No matter morning or evening, as long as someone opens or closes the door on this floor, the sound can be heard in the room.

East China Normal University Academic Exchange Center (Shanghai Zhongshan North Road Campus)
4.5/530 Reviews
Changfeng Park Area
The campus is quiet, and the overall feeling is okay. The most important thing is that I feel safe on campus. However, there should be signposts between the school gate and the communication center, otherwise you won’t know where you are at once.

Transportation: The traffic is very convenient. It is only 2 minutes from Line 13 and 5 minutes from Line 3 and 4 Hygienic: The room is very clean and the computer is very clean. The bathroom is also equipped with facial cleanser, which is very thoughtful. Stayed for two days on the weekend, the price is almost the same as the hotel, and you can play the computer, I will choose here next time.

The service attitude at the front desk was good. I booked a single-bed room on the same day. When I arrived at the store, the front desk arranged a room with a window. The room was clean, tidy, comfortable, well-equipped, and the sound insulation effect was good. I slept very peacefully and felt like I was at home. The Internet speed was fast, the water supply was large, and it was quiet. Overall, it is recommended. Will come next time

Shanghai's main international airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, offers numerous connections globally. Once there, you can reach downtown Shanghai using the Shanghai Maglev Train, buses, or taxis. For domestic travelers, high-speed trains offer an efficient means of travel.

The main mode of payment in China is usually through AliPay or WeChat Pay. Most places still accept credit and debit cards, but it's wise to carry some local currency (RMB) for smaller vendors. Mandarin is the official language, with Shanghainese also widely spoken. A translation app may come in handy when interacting with locals.

Visit the tranquil Yuyuan Garden, an exquisite example of Ming Dynasty design. The Shanghai Museum hosts an extensive collection of Chinese historical artifacts, and the Shanghai Disney Resort promises fun for the entire family.

Shanghai's Seasons and Apparel

Shanghai has a humid subtropical climate. Summers (June-August) are hot and humid, while winters (December-February) can be quite cold. The best times to visit are autumn (September-November) and spring (March-May), when the weather is moderate. Pack a mix of lightweight and warm clothing to adjust to fluctuating temperatures in Shanghai.
