Capella Shanghai Jian Ye Li

Hengshan Road Area Shanghai|0.65km from Annata Vintage

Located in the bustling business district of Xuhui, Capella is much better than the ones in Hainan! It's quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle, making it very convenient to go out for a walk or ride a bike. Although the design of the small five-story building is climbed up and down, the functional areas are indeed divided very well. The sanitation and cleaning are good. Both bathrooms and toilets are smart and have heating functions. They are very friendly to friends who come to Shanghai in the winter. The audio-visual room does not disturb teammates who want to sleep. The light shading in the room is excellent and the sound insulation is very good. , it was quite quiet all night (but I don’t know if it was because there were few or no neighboring guests), which was appreciated by teammates who suffer from insomnia. The service is also very good. From the time of check-in, every employee takes the initiative to say hello, greets you with a smile, and responds quickly to requests. As for breakfast, I think it can be improved. Breakfast is a la carte service and can be ordered and delivered to the room. I went to the restaurant to eat, but my expectations may have been too high. I felt that the product that day was not at an excellent level, and the staff did not feel very busy. Why do I always have to ask for more tea? Haha... The last unhappy thing is that because I like their body wash, I bought it for home use, but I forgot to check it in when I boarded the plane, and the security personnel took it away in vain😭😭😭I will bring my children back next time, continue. Keep up the service level!

Intercontinental Shanghai Ruijin

Huaihai Road Area Shanghai|1.08km from Annata Vintage

Expected too much, received too less. very complicated if it's your first time, to find the main building for reception, no clear signs then no directions for the parking lot. Nobody to greet you outside, neither inside, nobody cares you're there, that's not normal for Intercontinental, maybe all the employers were in a bad mood. The hotel nicely offered an upgrade to a suite, I don't want to sound ungrateful but there was only two tiny windows, it was dark and smelly, the air purifier was not enough the clean the room bad smell, no window at all in the suite living room. Beside that, on Saturday they were making maintenance in the garage and a terrible toxic smell was coming to our suite on the 4th floor!! Not only to our room but to the whole hotel areas, outside as well. with a room that has a very small window, was quite uncomfortable to enjoy the room, I felt jealous of the other rooms who has a proper and big window. So I'm still not sure if it was really a good thing accepting the upgrade. The breakfast was very nice and not crowded, food seves well. they have a nice garden, public and one reserved only for hotel guests, that gives you some peace to relax as the hotel area is invaded everyday by outsiders to take pictures, would be much better if has more places to sit, to stay beside the fountain, we sat on the floor. Intercontinental Ruijin is a beautiful property that should be an amazing place to stay but right now, I don't recommend.

This time I chose the room in Paris Shiyun 411, Xiyue for the first time. I felt the price-performance ratio was really good when I moved in. It was clean, the floor-to-ceiling windows were big and bright, and the room was clean and very warm! In particular, the landlord's service attitude is very good. He always answers all questions and responds to all requests. Highly recommended!

There are more positives than negatives for this room. Positives: amazing location. It is a short bike ride to many places we needed to go like Iapm, grocery stores, and subway lines. The room is also in an elevator building on the 16th floor. Therefore the room had good ventilation. It didn't feel dusty like a lower floor would. Another positive is the washer dryer combo. Some negatives: our shower head broke on the second day. But fortunately the host communicated immediately and sent us a new one within 30 minutes. That was nice. Another negative is when you take a shower the water flows out onto the floor so you need to sweep it into a drain to avoid flooding. If the host updates the shower system then this room would be 100% worth the price. For now I give it 4 stars because of the bathroom.

In a small alley, there is indeed a sense of fireworks in Shanghai~ Although the corridor is a bit closed, the interior environment and layout of the room are very spacious and comfortable. The facilities are complete and there are all kinds of kitchen utensils, which are very suitable for families who want to cook for themselves on a short-distance trip. It’s not too noisy when you eat at night and when you sleep. Most of the time, the volume of neighborhood activities is within an acceptable range. The landlord is also very kind. He can respond to questions in a timely manner and get them resolved. I recommend this place for short-term rentals
