Nine Tree Premier Rokaus Hotel Seoul Yongsan

Seoul|0.81km from Saenamteo Catholic Holy Place of the Martyrs
This was my first time visited Korea, and I stayed in this hotel on 31 may-5 june 2023. I was got confused on the first time I arrived because I can't find the reception and it was no staff standby to assist and directing. Apparently, the lobby area is on the 4th floor (press L in the lift). The first floor is only the bakery shop and concierge (but nobody was there when I arrived). And no any signage either. The lobby area is modern and has a good interior. All of the staffs are all well mannered, friendly and helpful, some even speak good English. The room size is not too big, but still fair. I like the bathroom with shower head. it was clean and the lighting of the room is good. But unfortunately, the main reason I chose this hotel in this area was because I want to have a room with Han River view. It was named 'Standard Han River View Double Room', so I had a huge expectation it would really provided a good view of Han River. In fact, the building was not directly face to Han River (a little bit cross 45 degree) and was blocked with other higher surrounding buildings. and most disappointing, it doesn't have a full wide window, the window was separated by a thick wall in the middle. (I forget to took a proper photo, so I screenshot from my video to my boyfriend). I asked the staff whether we could have a room with full wide window and he said that all rooms' window configuration are all same. so i feel my hussle was really in vain to intentionally move to another hotel since my previous hotel located much more strategically to my itinerary (and actually has a bigger room size and cheaper -- i consider this is more expensive because of the brand and the location). The hotel location itself is actually very convenience because it has a direct bus stop in front of, and Yongsan station is literally across the hotel. Another good point, it also has 24 hour of coin laundry in the building (cost 3,000 won for laundry and 3,000 won for dryer). u can directly buy the detergen+softener for 1,000 won in the vending machine in the laundry room. Overall besides the Han River disappointing expectation, i can say that my stay experience here was lovely. The cleanliness of room, helpful and fluent English staffs were all great.

Roynet Hotel Seoul Mapo

Seoul|2.05km from Saenamteo Catholic Holy Place of the Martyrs
One of the most amazing hotels that I’ve ever stayed! Very reasonable price very great location! Very nice room condition, it was very clean and comfortable. And in the bathroom, there’s a small area with mirror is very very convenient for girls to make up. I want to make a good comment on that. And I want to comment that every single staff that I encounter with was very professional, very helpful and fluent in English, I was surprised and happy! During my stay, I accidentally make the bed sheet dirty which I was very very sorry about that, but they didn’t charge me which I also surprised because with my previous stays, in other hotels, they usually will charge Even though the breakfast selections was not much, but the breakfast was really delicious and enjoyable. The condition of the restaurant was also very nice! And the first floor they have a coffee shop, which is really convenient for those who stay in hotel and the tourist! In their lobby they also have a small bar who can self service for the beverage. They have coffee and tea that was super nice and surprised for me! The surrounding area was also very convenient and close to the subway station. And also, they are very nice to foreigners, all the floors and all the signs with English and the guide for staying in the hotel are presented in four languages! For those who using wow pass here definitely is a good choice because in their lobby they have one machine which is super super convenient !! Definitely will recommend Roynet Hotel to everyone ! This is the first time I write such a long comment.I feel very welcomed and warm in here. And it is very likely for the next time I visiting Seoul again and I will staying here again!

Convenient location and clean room. The hotel has history, but the bed is not old but comfy. Loved the wooden floor and I guess there is a heating system underneath the floor. It says it’s a 4-star hotel but refreshment choices were limited (only tea drip coffee bags). Room-service is not available, but that didn’t affect our mood of stay. It’s environmentally friendly that snacks and individual shampoo sets are not provided. Would definitely come again!

The place was easily accessible via train, just a short walk from Samgakji station (exit 1 or 13). It's also close to the airport bus stop that takes you directly to Incheon Airport - very convenient. It also has a nearby convenience store, and is surrounded by a lot of restaurants and cafes so you won't have to worry about where to get lunch or breakfast. Most of the guests I've met there are quite friendly and will give you tips on what to do if it's your first time in the city. They also have a kitchen in the 3rd floor so you can cook your own meals if you feel like it. We sadly didn't get a chance to see the rooftop and the upper floors because we were so tired by the time we returned. The main floor of the guesthouse is on the 2nd floor, including the reception desk, and you have to climb a steep set of stairs to get there which proved quite challenging when most of their guests are carrying huge luggages - no handrails btw, so you have to be careful. I was carrying a collective weight of 20kgs when I first arrived and had to get help from Johnny as it was impossible for me to do it myself. With its popularity among travelers comes the obvious problem of it being fully packed with people, which can get chaotic when everybody wants to use the showers at once. The place is a little small and there wasn't a lot of room to move around in once all the guests arrive and are buzzing about.

It's a motel. But it's very clean and has a giant TV. Basic amenities are available. You barely interact with a human being. You pick up your key from a vending machine that can check your reservation and later return the key to a box. If you need anything, you can call the front desk (usually there is one person taking care of the entire thing). The location is fantastic. It's a short five-minute walk to the nearest subway station and a two-minute walk to the express bus stop going to the Incheon airport. There are four convenience stores within walking distance.

Had a great time chilling in the room. With separate bathing facilities for each bedroom! Great for families with kids since it comes with 2 separate bedrooms. There is Nespresso machine with daily capsules top up. And nice tea selection. Breakfast spread was sumptuous too! Very extensive gym facilities and pool. Hotel is connected to Novotel and ibis yongsan, and connected to Yongsan station. 2 stations away from Seoul station. Easy to get around. Nothing much around except for a shopping mall ipark mall. Service staff were friendly and helpful too!

It's the second time we stayed at this hotel, because of good location (near Yongsan train station). However, we had a bad experience. We booked room with sofa bed (for kid) and we asked them to prepare it after we check-in, finally they didn't do it, we can back after dinner and we had to try to reach front desk (not easy, hard to reach!) fi ally someone came around 21:00 and kids were so sleepy. Second day, we wanted to order some room service, they said it will take 1h30 to even get some French fries! We had to cancel and order from outside hotel for delivery. At 10pm our daughter was sick and vomited, we tried to call front desk to get some cleaning products and new bed sheets, we had to call maybe 30 times! Line always busy, terrible... Finally they could arrange a new room but it was 11pm. Sunday morning (last day for us) we wanted to go for breakfast buffet, we were told to wait more than 30min to gets seat, kids so hungry so we gave up and went to 1st floor instead (near lobby). They were sold out of croissants, so we bought some snacks instead at the same place than the coffee shop of hotel. See photo, and they told us we Cannot eat them inside hotel, it was apparently only for ”take away”. What a joke! I related everything at check out, they said sorry, and that's it (we left) we will never come back.
