Fantastic hotel, with plenty of facilities, the lobby restaurant and reception are immaculate, and the staff are extremely friendly, exactly what you need after a long day travelling The room itself was pretty clean. However, there are a few marks in the bathroom, and on the privacy curtain (net curtain?) behind the blackout curtains. Other than that, I really can’t fault it. I will definitely be coming back again and I will be searching for Leonardo hotels where else I’m staying in future, highly recommended.

My partner and I have just returned from a very enjoyable weekend in Bristol(19th-21st Aug). We stayed here back in July this year so decided to return. We recommended the hotel to two friends who came and stayed there as well. We had room 213 which is at the back of the building but as we only needed the room to rest it didn't matter. The room was clean and very comfortable with a good shower. Check in was simple and the staff were very pleasant. We like the idea of the hotel having its own ironing room which we used whilst there. We used the bar on the Friday night when we returned to the hotel, Two double Hendrick gins and a mixer was nearly £20.00 ! But I suppose that's city prices for you. We are looking forward to returning in October for another enjoyable time. Thankyou to you all at Ibis Temple Quay.

A two night stay for two couples meeting at Bristol for a weekend getaway Stay could have been better in all areas Having not known what time we would arrive and not knowing the area we had pre-booked a table for evening meal at Chophouse the restaurant attached to the hotel, we thought this to be the easiest option. Very quiet in both the bar and restaurant area we expected a first class service … unfortunately not what we got! Cocktails took over 20 minutes to make which was really disappointing (they were nice enough when they finally arrived) We went through to the restaurant offered a set menu and normal menu Two chops were ordered from the set menu which ironically (chophouse) were not available a burger and fish off the main menu were also ordered, the fish resembling a sprat was quite disappointing, the burger was good - thank goodness the company was fantastic as the food didn’t surpass much more than ok. Having experienced the evening bar and the slow service well the breakfast experience downstairs was something else!! 2 mornings for breakfast quite a contrast too, Saturday morning was quite good, everything was available, cereal, juices, selection of breads, pots of yogurt and granola, smoked salmon and hot food we had breakfast at 9.00am, the restaurant Sunday we had breakfast at 9.30am, what a contrast, tables hadn’t been cleared (there were several empty and in this state) we cleared a table ourselves and had to request for a waitress to clean and wipe the table down. Where we had placed the previous used plates and cups , were left there and not cleared by the waitress. We went to the service area and it was a nightmare; throughout the time we were there the service was poor with lack of food displays and lack of cutlery and bowls, there was just chaos and what seemed like one guy working and trying to keep the place moving. In contrast to the day before, juices were running out, no available cereal bowls, no bread for toasting, no yoghurt granolas, at one point no mugs or glasses to drink from and the hot food ran out with something constantly being waited on. There were two waitresses that were a waste of time, they needed to be managed and to be productive, they had no idea about offering great service …. When we commented to the guy about being busy he said this is nothing 😳 The room was on the first floor at the rear, quiet and a comfortable bed. However, the door didn’t shut properly and had to be pulled / pushed hard to ensure was shut. The bathroom was ok however the shower tray filled and you were standing in water that took an eternity to drain away

Have used this hotel many times in the past when seeing a show in the Hippodrome. It’s one of the few hotels in Bristol with a decent car park on site (£12 per day). It’s a 15 minute walk to the Hippodrome and easily do able. Outside the hotel can be found some cafes and a pub. The hotel hasn’t really changed much over the years. The Novotel sign has worn off the front door but otherwise the interior is the same since I visited it a few years ago. The room (114) was at the rear of the hotel, clean, large comfy bed and most importantly it was quiet at night. Pillows were very hard however and a choice of pillow in the room would have been good. I also have to knock a star off because the staff at reception were not the most friendly. No conversation, no mention of belonging to the loyalty club, just all very formal. That’s not a problem if that’s what you like but a little more friendliness/warmth would of been nice. No one asked how our stay was when we left. Otherwise another lovely stay at this hotel.

Have returned from a 1 night stay at Hotel Indigo, booked for us by a family member so had done little research on the hotel, we arrived to a really friendly reception and were shown to our room 531. We were so impressed with the room and facilities, the entire place was completely spotless, comfortable beds, ample space and storage options, excellent lighting. The shower was divine! Reception phoned us to check everything was ok shortly after check in which was a nice touch and booked us in for breakfast at the hotels restaurant (The Elder) for the next morning at a time that suited us. Food and drinks at the elder were fantastic although a little pricey but that’s to be expected in Bath, however we didn’t mind the price given the excellent service received. Very close to city centre and all tourist attractions and good options of restaurants and bars all within a short walking distance. I really feel like I need to stress just how clean this entire hotel was, literally spotless in the room and all communal areas, one of the best we have ever stayed in. Nothing was too much to ask, all staff we encountered were more than friendly and made us feel welcome. We would definitely return to this hotel if in Bath again. Fantastic service all round. Incredible staff. That’s the first thing to stay, they really make the difference. The hotel itself is very on trend, you get a free cocktail on arrival, and the breakfast which isn’t expensive, is good. The room is very comfy and well appointed, the bed was comfortable and the shower room, although small, was more than adequate. It’s all about the staff though, incredible service.

Stayed for three nights at Filton. We found the reception service very good when we arrived and service generally was excellent. Our room was comfortable and clean and well appointed, with an iron, ironing board, hairdryer and tea and coffee. The air conditioning was easily controllable and the window opened slightly for fresh air. Despite what some previous reviews have said, the complementary breakfast was really very good. Quality sausages, bacon etc with ( for a hotel) good scrambled eggs. Tea and coffee on tap, juices,cereals and a choice of breads, also waffles. Good to see gluten free bread available. There were plenty of fruits and yogurt available . The staff also worked hard at keeping all items topped up. The reason I have given four stars is because the hotel is very poorly signposted we had a nightmare trying to find it in the dark and pouring rain. Apart from this we had a great stay, good to see a hotel being run well, by hard working staff in difficult times for the industry, with recruitment etc. Top Marks!

It's close to the train station and there's a parking lot behind the building so it's a good location. The staff is friendly and The room is clean. We enjoyed the stay and would consider to stay with this hotel again.

Recommend! Perfect location, very central. We were able to check in early as the room was ready before the expected time and we were offered a free upgrade to the superior twin room (booked the twin room). Good beds, comfy pillows, nice toiletries. The terrace looked like a nice place to sit and have a drink, though we didn't have time as there's plenty to do and see in Bath.
