La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Schertz

Now both elevators are out of service when only one was broken when we arrived. The bed is comfortable but the sofa and chairs are not good for sitting more than a few minutes before it is a bother. The pool lock is broken and a family not staying here got out of their car in their bathing suits and treating it like the community pool. There are ****s overgrown through the fence and spa appears to have been broken for months. I gave two stars because the place is clean inside and the staff is very nice but they have no authority to how money on maintenance is spent. I image the people that are in charge of the maintenance budget are very unorganized and have no construction and maintenance skills. This place has so much potential being in a wonderful area. If the place was maintained better it could really fill up and be successful but going by the number of cars in the parking lot last night at check in, this place is failing horribly.

The lady who checked me in was very nice and friendly. And helping when I asked about food in the area. She also reached out to me in a timely fashion about my reservation. She gets 2 thumbs up from me.

HORRIBLE experience, do NOT stay here. I arrived at 2:30pm with 3 tired teenagers who just played a soccer game and needed to shower and rest up before another game this evening. I was told my room wasn’t ready and they no longer had 2 Double Queen rooms left, which is what I paid for on *******. I told her she would need to find a room for us, and she was a little flustered as she didn’t receive the list of the clean rooms from the cleaning staff. We get sent on our way with keys to a room, when we arrive the beds are *****ped. I see a cleaning lady and ask her why the beds don’t have sheets, she advises that the room hasn’t been cleaned yet. After about 30 minutes and telling the front desk that the kids need to shower/rest and our room should’ve been ready at 3:00pm check in time. We now get sent to a room with 1 king size bed because everyone was tired and were told our room would be ready in 20 mins. After 1 hr the boys showered and are trying to rest when a couple walks in the room as they were given the key to the same room we were sent to. At this point it’s 5:50pm and we’re still in this temporary room, I told the front desk this is unacceptable and the boys were unable to rest. At 6pm we finally get our room just enough time to quick change into uniforms and back to the fields. Breakfast was a mess & so dirty. No butter, no juices, no water. Just waffles, toast and bagels. I stayed at this hotel 2 yrs ago and it was a very different experience. Will never be back.

It wasn’t too pleasant. The door doesn’t open all the way. The handwash and bath sinks are clogged and takes forever for water to drain. The toilet also clogged when my son used it. It was useless!

NO HOT WATER, in fact it was ice cold. The air conditioner did not cool the room. The breakfast bar was small compared to other locations.

The bed had a hole in the middle my kids slept on the floor which is ashame , the shower was clogged up we told the lady in the front desk she said they can’t do nothing about it

The cable was not working all weekend, breakfast was not ready at the time indicated, and the toilet was making so much noise.
