My now husband and I chose to stay here for our wedding weekend, and we couldn't have chosen a more romantic and charming place. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. We arrived (without warning) with several crates worth of wedding-related supplies, and their staff helped us bring it all up to our room. The rooms themselves are gorgeous and unique. Our room came with an amazing soaking tub that we enjoyed the morning of our wedding and best smelling toiletries we've ever found at a hotel. Despite the level of excitement we felt for our wedding we slept beautifully. The handsome writing desk was the perfect spot for us to write our thank you notes to our wedding vendors. Not sure why some reviews claim there isn't a breakfast? While the breakfast doesn't include hot items, the selection was great and of very high quality - fresh fruit, sandwiches, coffee, pastries, and we left happy and full. We look forward to returning for our anniversary someday!

We chose this hotel as part of a package deal with BA. The location is great, the view from the room and service staff (bell hop, cleaning team etc) we're lovely. There were definitely more cons than pros for this place. We requested a replenishment of tea, creamer and sugar which never arrived. We ordered a $7 croissant which took 45mins to arrive and even after the $6 delivery charge and 15% the bill was $24?! We sent that back. We asked the reception for some advice on a travel ticket, which was wrong. The first day we decided to try breakfast at the hotel, I strongly recommend finding somewhere else. It was almost $100 for 2 classic breakfasts (toast, egg, bacon or sausage) and some OJ, not worth the money AT ALL. When we gave our feedback on checkout, the front of house was dismissive, unapologetic and we are leaving feeling disappointed with that service. Such a shame

I had a fantastic time at this hotel. I booked a fairmont exterior king room with a view. The room itself was nice but what I really liked was the walk in wardrobe and luxurious marble bathroom with his and hers sinks. Breakfast at the hotel and dinner in the Tonga room was also really good. Customer Service was top dollar. The only criticisms I would have are that:- 1) There was only one functioning lift from the main foyer to hotel rooms, 2) upon checking in a hold fee of $100 per night is placed on your debit/ credit card (only returnable 5-7 days after departure) and 3) some of the meals were overpriced, I was charged approx $55 for a medium sized pizza and bottle of water on one night. Overall, enjoyed my stay and would return.

The room was a little small, but very quiet. The bed is comfortable, the room has no view. The address is in a place with many tourists, so it is very convenient for first-time visitors. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and they are not very expensive. The hotel service is very good, it is very convenient to take Uber, and it is very convenient to order food.

I used to be a frequent guest at the W SF back when it was Starwood but had not visited since Marriott took over the W Brand. I did try and stay last year but before arriving I read that the restaurant was closed and I asked the hotel what they were doing as an alternative, but they had absolutely nothing for Platinum Breakfast (other than 1k points per stay which is a HUGE downgrade), so I opted for another hotel. I had high expectations for this stay as I had previously loved this hotel, but as a frequent traveler in Marriott brands and having one of their Highest Elite traveler statuses (and staying at W Brands lately), I knew service levels were still suffering post pandemic. Unfortunately, it started low right from the beginning. I had confirmed a Studio Suite in advance. When I arrived, I was given a corner room that almost seemed smaller than standard rooms (Room 2109). I inquired about upgrades to larger rooms, and I was told no, because it was a busy weekend, and nothing would be available. I checked on the app and saw that every room type was available for the length of my stay and beyond. I was basically DOWNGRADED. Once settling into the room, then I realized the major issues. Smaller rooms should be easier to clean, right? Well, this one not only had carpet stains, but I quickly found out that the ”Marriott Commitment to Clean” was actually a Commitment to Ignore. Not only were their stains on the carpet and dust and dirt in the windowsills, I found a previous guest's room keys sitting on the counter. Obviously, the room was just ”re-set” and not inspected or cleaned at all. I guess the promised sanitizing was out of the question. We then went to get some ice and noticed that the ice bucket was half filled with standing water. It was disgusting! Thats not the worst part, I then found a pair of women's ”play-style” lingerie slightly soiled sitting on the floor by the sofa. I mentioned the cleanliness issues to the Front Desk, but the representative simply stared at me and then asked if there was anything else I needed? I should have been a bit more insistent that they take it down, but I was so shocked I did not. The room setup, although smaller than what I wanted and pre-confirmed, was also not great. There is no storage at all other than the closet. There are no drawers at all or other places to keep clothes or anything else. If you have two suitcases, you are going to have to keep them out as there is no place to put them in the closet. Other than the Front Desk and Room Condition, we had a nice stay, although the Room is really what we paid for. The rest of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff were great, and the food was amazing! Kudos for them for sure! Actually, the only place I was every recognized or thanked for being a Marriott Elite was from the hostess at Breakfast. The bellhop was also quite nice and helpful when we checked-out and needed to store lugga

Parking if parking in the downstairs of the hotel is $29 a night. I chose to stop at 8:00 pm on the second side of the street at the intersection above the hotel. There is an additional charge of USD 27 for other services per day.

This beautiful hotel is ideal for those looking to explore San Francisco. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and staff are friendly and informative. I particularly loved the claw foot bath in our bathroom, the beds are very high but so comfy and rooms are quiet and air conditioned. Even though the restaurant was not open during our stay, the hotel put on a delicious continental breakfast with fruit, yoghurt, pastries and toast and bagels. The hotel is ideally located with transport available nearby and many restaurants and bars available on nearby poke Street.

I totally enjoyed my stay during a 4-days at this place. The location is super convenient, take 101/130/150 to go to Union square, walk a little bit and take 19 to go to Beach Road. If you are adventurous, you can actually walk to the Downtown. I had to check in early as my flight landed a bit advance. They allowed me to early check in at a nominal fee which is totally acceptable. Also the cityscape view from hotel is amazing! I felt the place is safer, all amenities provided (ironing bed, hangers, refrigerator, iron box, coffee and tea bags… so on). I would certainly stay here again and highly recommend checking this out. I chose the Motel Capri for location and a great rate when booking. The decent reviews definitely swung the decision too. We loved the comfortable rooms, the hospitable staff, and the location is great. The only negative was some noise issues but earplugs would have resolved that. Rooms were serviced which was nice to have again. I recommend trying to get a room on level 3 (top) to avert noise from above. The Marina district is great, restaurants and bars all along nearby Union Street and Chestnut Street including a nice movie theatre. All walkable and safe. The Marina itself is a 15 minute walk. Highly recommend the SFMTA 1 day ticket for Buses and Streetcars at $5. Vast network. From Hotel Capri the 28 bus along Lombard is a great link to the Golden Gate viewpoints and the Presidio. Direction Daly City Bart Station. Overall Motel Capri is an economical, comfortable, cool choice. Would return for sure.

Amazing value central hotel, clean and well appointed. We stayed here for 3 nights over the Spring Break weekend. The hotel is a motel style with your own door. We found space in the car park easily. The amenities are good. The beds comfortable. The room was super clean. Housekeeping came every day to replenish towels etc. The location is great. 10 mins walk to Fort Mason and 15 20 mins to Fishermans Wharf. The location felt safe. It's also on the Big Bus tour route, which was handy for us and I would recommend. There is no breakfast here despite the TripAdvisor photo! It didnt matter to us there are lots if fantastic places to eat in SF. We will definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed this lovely hotel. The rooms were bright and super clean. We loved the Japanese-inspired bathrobes and the comfy window seat with nice city views. We really liked the decor in the rooms and lobby. There was plenty of storage, and a refrigerator to keep leftovers. The only downside is the fitness room, which is very basic. We enjoyed the location with close access to many shops and restaurants.

The hotel service is good, the most important thing is to have free parking. The location is on Lombard Street, the pier is very fast, and it is very convenient to go to Jupiter Street.
