Beautiful spacious room and en suite. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds. Beautiful building and grounds, ideally located and within walking distance of St Davids. The continental breakfast was delicious. Toiletries were luxurious. Coffee maker and complimentary bottles if water were also available.

Absolutely stunning hotel, with an amazing continental breakfast. The staff were absolutely lovely and were beyond helpful. No request was too much, they were chatty and welcoming and we can't sing their praise enough. Hannah served us 2 days out of 3 and her service was impeccable. The continental breakfast, was stunning for something so simple, they did incredibly well with fresh fruit, pastries, etc etc, we actually looked forward to waking up for breakfast each morning (we aren't usually breakfast eaters)! The entire hotel was beautiful, with plenty of places to walk and enjoy with a range of wildlife in the area which made the stay feel a little more special. Can't recommend the place enough if you want to spend a little money on your stay, on this hidden gem.

Can't fail to be impressed upon arrival. From the electric gates to the lush surroundings with the impressive manor house hotel nestled amongst the trees. Huge bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great shower too. Hannah who served breakfast was so delightful. Very informative about the area and was very welcoming and engaging. Great asset to the hotel. Breakfast was absolutely superb. Such a wide choice of options and plenty to eat. Faultless our short stay couldn't have been any better. The price is good too as we moved onto Tenby paying the same rate per night yet the hotel in Tenby was not remotely comparable. Highly recommend

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Penrhiw Priory in early May 2024. We booked the trip to celebrate my birthday, and were most appreciative when the reception team arranged for us to collect our keys a little earlier on the afternoon of our arrival, knowing that we had driven down from Swansea on what transpired to be an extremely hot day. The drive down to Penrhiw was beautifully scenic, and we were delighted to find our room immaculately presented, with a birthday card and box of chocolates left waiting for me, too. We appreciate art and were delighted to see a Brendan Stuart Burns painting in the room, too! We explored the grounds and enjoyed seeing a hare, rabbits and even a badger during our short stay. The views were spectacular. The breakfast provided was lovely: lots of choice, catering to various dietary needs, and a nice opportunity to chat with our fellow guests and the staff. Members of staff were most helpful and one even kindly offered to carry a tray upstairs to our room for me. Osian in the reception team was most helpful both before and during our stay, and was very welcoming and pleasant during both check-in and check-out. We had a thoroughly enjoyable visit and look forward to returning in future. A huge *diolch yn fawr* to the whole team at Penrhiw.

Absolutely fab time. Warm and welcome. Really top quality breakfast each morning. The team made very effort to provide vegan options for me. What a lovely place. Would highly recommend recommend for a weekend away. The rooms had everything you need including a fan for hot days. Soft towels, soft robes. We welcomed with chocolates and a birthday card

A lovely hotel on the edge of St David’s but a relatively short walk into the town for the energetic or a short drive to a town car park. The room was brilliant with nice large double bed and well catered for with all sorts of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits/ free wi etc. Bathroom facilities were first class as was the continental breakfast with a very extensive choice. The staff were extremely friendly and we really enjoyed our stay here and it proved an excellent base to tour the area. The garden was also beautiful and praise should given to the gardeners who maintained the gardens with real pride. We also had dinner at their sister hotel which was also a real treat. Thanks for a lovely break

This is such a peaceful and lovely hotel. It has a character and serenity that will help you relax and unwind. The continental breakfast is superb. The whole place is beautifully decorated and absolutely spotless. The fact there are no staff there to check you in isn’t a problem- it just adds to the overall experience.

Words can't do justice to this beautiful place, or to its lovely staff. Every single aspect of our time here was absolutely magical! The gorgeous building -- the charming and peaceful gardens -- the delightful breakfasts -- the kindness of every staff person we met (Maria, Alison, Gary, and at least one more person whose name I forgot to write down) -- all superlative. As I said on another travel website, I don't expect I'll ever stay anywhere this marvelous again. THANK YOU, Penrhiw Priory, for helping to make our 30th wedding anniversary trip a dream! xoxo

Went away for my wife's birthday celebration, staying in the fabulous Garden room, and had a great time. The staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help, whilst the facilities and cleanliness were in immaculate. We will definitely be returning!
