Bluesea Gran Playa

I cannot recommend this Hotel enough, clean modern hotel with outstanding rooms (and probably the best shower I've ever had) Obviously Mallorca can have changeable weather in April (I think we saw it all in our 5 day stay) but along with all the staff being extremely attentive the hotel entertainers/ animators went above and beyond to not only bring people from the U.K together but also to integrate the rest of the world, enabling myself and my partner to form friendships that will last a lifetime. Don't be put off by any negative comments regarding food (you're in Spain and you're not going to get an Full English Breakfast etc‍♂️) What you will get is a range of food where you will always find something to eat and if that's still not to your liking you will find lots of cheap local restaurants/bars that serve English food. Hotel is clean and tidy, food, drink and entertainment average. Wasn’t a fan of drinking out a plastic cup all week either. Location and beach is fantastic with good transport links along the coast in both directions. I think a week would be more then enough at this hotel

Had a lovely stay at the BLUESEA grand playa. Was upgraded to a junior suite on arrival, this was a spacious room with separate bedroom, and large balcony over looking the pool and with a sea view. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel in general was clean and our room was cleaned everyday. The food is hit and miss but this is a 3 star hotel, you get what you pay for. The entertainment team try get you involved and work really hard, as do the bar staff. The eco cup system at the bar is a great idea and more hotels should do this to cut down on plastic waste, there is a good choice of all inclusive drinks. No one can access the pool area until 9:00am so there is always plenty of sunbeds available. The hotel is in a good location, close to the beach and bars. We had a great stay and would return to this hotel.

Saying that I am disappointed is not enough! We chose and paid for 4* hotel but we got disgusting dirty room filled with mold, dust, someone’s black hairs on pillows, stains on towels, rust and urine’s smell in bathroom. When we arrived for dinner 35 minutes before an end, only few things were available. There was no comforters, only thin sheet and the nights are still cold in May. There were pleds in a closet but they terribly stunk. We didn’t expect luxury but that level of a lack of basic sanitary conditions is unacceptable. Room wad in old molded building away from a main hotel, but on Booking there was any information about the real condition of rooms. The only pro of this hotel - kind stuff.

Went for 3 nights with jet 2 holiday package. Can’t speak on behalf of the whole hotel but for the bits that Jet2 own - very impressed. Got to be the top end of 3 stars, very clean never had an issue with that. Cleaner comes in every day to do the room and folds your clothes. Bed’s were incredibly comfy. Prime location 5 min walk from beach and electric scooters right outside the hotel. Lifeguards always around the pool and plenty of sunbed loungers - careful if you’re not a fan of crawlers because theres a couple of ants but nothing too bad that you wouldn’t expect (aka no nests, just strays). Drinks perfect, all inclusive definitely worth it, so much selection and no messy empty cups everywhere as you get a reusable cup with €1 deposit that you get back if you don’t lose the cup. There’s the knock off brands included or upgrade the package to branded spirits for €28 but we didn’t bother with that we were happy. Plenty of entertainment throughout the day and evening, including a bit of karaoke and mini games where there were free cocktails on offer that aren’t included in the all inclusive deal. Seen a lot of previous reviews complain about the food, and while the food lacks a bit of variety; it’s not necessarily distasteful, and it’s quite a hygienic environment. There was also a really lovely cheese fountain and the ice cream machine was fantastic - not bad for 3 stars. If you have a late flight they’re not too keen on you keeping your room for the day, check out is 12pm however theres lockers to keep your cases downstairs for as long as you need where you can go back and get stuff as many times as you need. Theres also a loo and shower room down there. To keep the room is €60 extra or the lockers €21 for 8 hours and options for 2,4,6 hours but unsure the price of those. These do take card but I’d still recommend having a bit of cash for things like the deposit for the safe in the room. All in all a good visit.

This is a decent 3 star hotel We had junior suite which was cleaned every day and fresh towels Large balcony over the pool Pools nice and clean Entertainment not bad and we like bingo so that was good though never could find out how much the prize was lol Some rowdy girls spoilt one night at entertainment so we left they were a right pain and no one told them to shut up Food hit and miss not much choice really but then it is a 3 star All in all we would return at the right price so all is good and would recommend Ps best bit was no rush for sun-beds always plenty available and a sign on door telling guests they will be removed Now that’s worth it

Room is perfect, comfy beds, shame it was 2 single beds put together instead of a double bed but im sure you could get this changed. Bathroom was clean and spacious, lovely shower. Room is clean and tidy, couldnt seem to work the air conditioner but with the balcony it never got too hot. Balcony is great, view of the pool. Staff and service are great, no complaints there. Lots to do throughout the day, the staff try to get you involved in all sorts of activities, and live music throughout the night. Got all inclusive, so unlimited alcoholic drinks all day long, no limit. Vodka is a lower volume than your standard vodka, here it is 25% instead of your usual 42%. You can upgrade to smirnoff, bcardi etc for a price but would not say its worth it. But as its unlimited just have to drink more than usual. Breakfast was lovely, your standard breakfast, lots to choose from. Lunch was great, again lots to choose from. Dinner was great some nights and some nights not so great, but plenty of bars and restaurants round the area. Dinner had a lot of choices too but wouldnt say its the best if your a picky eater. Not much fresh fruit available either. But you get what your paying for. Beach a 5 minute walk away and its a lovely beach. Overall fab experience, would 100% come again if it wasnt so far from Palma airport!

Although low season, hotel was exceptionally busy , lots of groups of girls/ women who could be very loud and noisy, more so than the stag do, who were no trouble. However hotel does state no stag and hens? Hotel worked on absolute minimal staff, who were so hardworking, but totally run off their feet. Eco cups work well. Location really good. Breakfast really good, lunch and dinner, extremely repetitive and not much choice, dessert and fruit exactly the same every day soup cold and not very good. Chips every day , ice cream finally came on , but the machine didn’t work properly. Help yourself drinks machines good in restaraunt. Entertainment practically non existent, bingo most nights, payouts very hit and miss for the amount of people and cost of a ticket , absolutely no crowd control , you couldn’t hear the bingo one night for the noise of the large groups of people, so why sell tickets to people. Not really entertainment, bingo every night.film and music quiz only catered for anyone under the age of 30, and took all night for two winners then to fight, it out to win a bottle of bubbly. We saw two very good singers and an Abba tribute in 10 nights, 7/10 nights were so basic entertainment could have been better. Studio rooms really good , apar**ent pool and sun beds much quieter and more comfortable than the main pool areas. This is a very budget , basic hotel, clean , very noisy and no security staff , We went the start of the summer season, I wouldn’t want to see how they would cope in the summer season, we had to queue a couple of times for the restaurant. This is an honest review, most reviews on here for some reason want to do nothing other than praise the three members of the animation team. Not quite sure why, maybe it’s because they ask everyone to review them towards the end of their holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and hope these comments might be useful to anyone thinking of booking , as we say , you get what you pay for , and we did ,

Throughly enjoyed my stay at 'BlueSea GranPlaya'. Staff couldn't do enough to accommodate. Junior suites very comfortable especially the beds. The complex is very clean. Entertainment staff are amazing especially Dama! Loved the whole experience, especially being ping-pong champion with Dama! Booking to come back in October! Love from Nicky!
