Google maps will not take you to the correct location of the hotel! The address states the hotel is in Leuvehaven; however the hotel and entrance are really on Terwenaker 18 (the small peninsula just east of the main road (Schiedsedijk). You can definitely see the hotel on the peninsula as you’re driving north on the main road, but your GPS / offline Google Maps won’t take you there. Just a tip in case you’re driving to the hotel. Other than that, our room was spacious, comfortable, had its own sauna, and a great view of the river. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Cube Houses and central market area. Overall, we’d stay there again if in Rotterdam!

The lady at the reception, a black woman, her appearance was businesslike and dry. Very different from what I'm used to. Although I indicate that I would like a quiet room because of my girlfriend, she appreciates peace and privacy, the receptionist has given me a room near the elevator, room 409. What is the point of online reservation in advance?

Wowzah! Great Location! Close to everything but quiet. Romantic views of the river. Everything was carefully thought out. We could stream from our devices to the different TV's and the bluetooth speaker. Amazing bathroom products. Wonderful Linens. Comfortable Bed. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. If your driving parking is so convenient and easy. Spacious. Clean, soft, comfortable carpets and rugs perfectly placed. We only stayed for one night but wish we had stayed for more.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Freundlicher Empfang. Wir haben ein Zimmer in der 12. Etage bekommen was wir so gerne haben wollten. Die Dame am Empfang hat alles möglich gemacht das wir in der 12. Etage das Zimmer bekommen. Wir waren richtig happy und haben uns gefreut. Der Ausblick war klasse. Immer wieder gerne das Art Hotel.❤️

From the time we walked through the front door to when we left two days later all was perfect. The staff very happy and helpful. The room was very nice and well appointed . We chose this hotel because it is connected to-the Rotterdam Cruise Terminal. It is close too many eateries. Ifwe return in the future we will rebook. This is a five star hotel. Thanks all.

We had a great weekend stay at Room Mate Bruno. It's the perfect hotel to discover the city, everything can be done by foot or you can rent a bike. The front office team was very always very kind and helpful. The gym has all the equipment that you need for a quick workout. The rooms are very well sound proofed, because even though we had our room next to the bar, we heard nothing and could enjoy a good night rest.

Very clean and spacious hotel with sufficient parking facilities. Clean rooms, not super luxury; but all facilities are available to make a cup of coffee or tea in the room and with fine beds (1102). Friendly and helpful, Dutch speaking, staff. You can order up to 23.45 another drink in the lounge, if you want. Breakfast buffet is fairly extended with various breads (hard/soft/heart/sweet), English breakfast, various types of yogurt, fruit and insecticide, and American pancakes and a wide variety of hot and cold drinks. There's enough, friendly staff around, making you feel very welcome. What was unfortunately very annoying, especially for our children, was that a lady in the hotel stayed who called to us ugly and insultful things when we went back to our hotel room after breakfast. It came to us as if she was in a great deal influenced by something; she walked/danced intimidating in the foyer around in her bathroom and with a towel around her hair as if she had been on the whole night since the night before her. She laughed out of our son when he almost came between the lift door, which was really annoying for him, for a hotel like this, that was a cleaner after such a great breakfast and stay. Whatever sadly, the surrounding sounds were, around the hotel, you are working to wake up early (even at the 11th floor) by trucks that drive out and out.

Motel One is always a good address for city travel. However, this in Rotterdam is especially, not only by the location in the pedestrian zone but also by the proximity to the market hall, which is a must in this great city. We like the roof-top bar, which has not only a great view of the city especially at night, but also a great selection of gin from all over the world. (to be found in Motel One's) The rooms are usually relatively small, but very smartly built with the equipment.

The location of the hotel is great, walking distance to many sights and shops as well as the metro and tram if you want to travel further away. The rooms facing the canal have a nice view but it's a shame the windows are small. There is a good car park next door to the hotel but hotel guests get no discount for parking there (24 Euros per night). Rooms are on the small side but fine for a couple of nights. They include a safe, which is nice to have. The hotel is not cheap, though. Around 200 Euros per night (without breakfast or parking) for a basic hotel chain like Ibis is quite steep. For that money, the hotel should at least make sure the curtains are not full of holes! They don't seem to have family rooms either, so families have to pay for two rooms per night.
