Our visit: We stayed at Navona Residenza de charme after a weeklong cruise to explore Rome for a couple of days, and felt like being at home. We felt welcomed right after we completed our booking. Jean contacted us to help coordinate our private transportation from the cruise. He gave us insights that helped us make the most of our stay, which included wanting to tour the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, Peters Basilica and the Colosseum. We did that and also visited other locations he recommended and the ones we had in our list. Room: Room was exactly what we needed for a family of 4. It includes a loft with two twin beds, main master bedroom with a king bed and large LCD TV, a small living room, closet space, Small fridge perfect for storing water bottles, and two independent air conditioning units. Note access to rooms requires walking up a number of stairs. Jean and his managed the transfer of the suitcases to the room. I would contact him ahead of time if needing a room on a ground floor. Breakfast: Breakfast is on the terrace on the top floor and included coffee options, fruit drinks, yogurts, fruits, ham, cheese, toasts and croissants. My favorite was how welcoming Jean and his staff were when family and I enjoyed breakfast. Enjoying a Capuchino on a top quiet terrace yet just steps away from the commotion of the city, how can one top that! I will definitely make this our anchor point in Rome for a future visit.
