Ibis Properties in Riyadh

As you can see from my booking, I had reserved a room with a double bed. However, upon arrival, I was informed that all of those rooms were “occupied” so I was given a room with two single beds pushed together instead. It felt quite unprofessional, but I decided to let it go. The housekeeping staff were excellent, and the hotel was kept very clean. However, the reception team could have been more welcoming and helpful. The hotel also lacks some of the basic amenities you’d typically expect. The bathroom only had a single body wash for everything, with no separate shampoo or conditioner. Other essentials, such as combs, were also unavailable. I stayed on the fifth floor, and the soundproofing was poor. I could hear families and other guests throughout the night, which was quite disruptive, especially since I had an early flight the next morning. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and suitable for travelers looking for a simple place to stay. However, there are definitely areas where the guest experience could be improved.
