Completely exceeded expectations, booked four-star, five-star hotel all the way, I didn't expect the most amazing thing is this B&B, my wife didn't want to go directly, I have to stay for one more night, but unfortunately there is no room. Turning to the point, very rich Tuscan style architecture, cost-effective beyond imagination, clean and comfortable rooms, very friendly staff, convenient parking and free. Experience the best choice of Tuscan country style. Stay here for a week next time, highly recommended!

We chose this ”hotel” as it was in the countryside just outside of Florence. A small reception but the reception staff spoke good English and was efficient. The room we were given opened into a small (childs) room first which was furnished with a small wrought iron bed with no windows. The main bedroom had a very small window which looked out onto the Tuscan countryside. The bed was old and lumpy and needs replacing. The bathroom also had no window and is old fashioned. The Wifi did not work (we connected in the reception but as soon as you got back to your room, it disconnected). Also the TV did not work. The lady at reception came to look at it for us but said the maintenance guy had gone home. We had dinner in the restaurant which was nice and very Tuscan. It is not part of the hotel and is run separately. The biggest problem for us was the noise. Whilst it is not the fault of the hotel if their guests are noisy, we had a family above us and we could hear every word, laughter, screams, TV, toilet flush, kids thumping and running etc. This also continued during the night at all hours. Breakfast was the highlight. It is served in a separate annex to the hotel across the road. The buffet (covid buffet) was served to us and consisted of hot and cold food, fruit, pastries, etc. Of course lots of Italian coffee. As we were there in November the pool was closed but we could imagine this an idyllic spot in the summer. Shame about the Wifi and TV.

Right next to the highway exit, the hotel has an internal parking lot. It is recommended for those who need to stay at THE MALL to take a rest. The Italian bed is too small, so I put the mattress on the ground for fear of falling under the bed. The restaurant environment is very good, but there is nothing to eat, coffee, milk, bread and the like

The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. No microwave inside in 2022 :( Pool ok even if wearing shirts is not top in summer. Animation is not available. In fact we didn't pay expensive but we know why. We can recommend this relay very much. The superior Suite Frantoio equipment is super and does not leave any wishes open! The facility is very maintained, beautifully located and the room is very clean. The staff is very friendly and premature. We cannot judge breakfast.

This hotel was a massive disappointment. It over promised and under delivered. Our experience was underwhelming from the start. We drove up a driveway that lacked any no-entrance signage to get to the reception and we’re chastised by unfriendly and rude staff. During the check-in, we were given no information on the property and the breakfast time, but we’re told that the boutique hotel had no space outdoors for us to have dinner. When we asked about breakfast time at the restaurant, we were told it is from 8 to 11:30am. When we showed up the following day for breakfast at 11, we were told the buffet was closed and they had thrown away the croissants. Some basic elements of service were absent. No free water bottles in the room, no refilling of coffee capsules, a dysfunctional AC, slow replenishment of breakfast buffet, little attentiveness to your ordering coffee or tea, no extra towels at the pool, no one asking you at dinner whether you’d like to have dessert, and so on and so forth. But this was not the end of our ill-fated adventure. When we asked them on our last day after our breakfast was done at 10:30 about the check out time, we were told it was at 10:30! In all my years of traveling around the world, I have never seen a checkout time that coincides with the end of breakfast at a supposedly luxury holiday resort. All is all, this is not at all what you’d expect of a four start hotel with luxury pricing. If these shortcomings are not fixed through serious reforms and management change, this property is bound to bring the Ferragamo brand into disrepute.

We wanted to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our family and looked for a place near Florence. Villa la Massa was recommended to us along with several other places. We researched for a long time and decided to choose Villa la Massa for our celebration. We had our three married children along with five grandchildren, ages ranging from 3 to 16. Our week at Villa la Massa exceeded all of our expectations. The staff was friendly and exceedingly helpful. There was never a hesitation in meeting our requests. The rooms were spotlessly clean (my most important criteria), very spacious and beautifully decorated. The food was delicious and the chefs bent over backwards to accommodate our many dietary needs. Their shuttle service was very convenient, taking only 20 minutes to get to and from Florence. It was the best of all worlds having such easy access to the city and a beautiful pool and grounds for all of us to enjoy. For the kids there was a great climbing adventure park about 40 minutes away and lots of small towns to explore nearby for the adults. It was extremely hot (95 - 100 degrees) so we spent a lot of time at the pool (connected to a baby pool). All 13 of us had a vacation we will never forget.

The hotel is a little far from the old town, but it provides a shuttle bus, and the room facilities and hygiene are good. For the fans, there is another good thing. The Florence team will settle in the hotel one day before the home game. We were fortunate to meet and take photos with the stars.

A beautiful hotel that is not your typical high rise hotel, but more of a large estate. Beautiful grounds and the rooms are well appointed. We had stayed here 5 years ago and enjoyed ourselves so we decided to return, with our daughter. Since there were 3 of us, we booked the Superior Triple Room which turned out to be a sleeper sofa on the first floor and narrow steps leading to the bed upstairs. I wasn't expecting this from the pictures on the website because if I had seen this room, I would not have booked it. The air conditioning was fine on the first floor, however, there was no air making it upstairs so it was hot up there. Beds and pillows were comfortable. There was no TV guide, so you had to scroll through each channel to see what was on each channel. The restaurant was very nice, as was the bar, however, they are very understaffed as it seems to be common all over. There was one waiter in the restaurant to handle about 10 tables, so there was a delay in getting your order. My daughter ordered her beef fillet medium well - it came out rare. We asked the waiter to have them cook it longer, he took it, but we never got it back. When leaving, he apologized about never getting it back to her, that was fine, a minor slip up. The next night that same waiter was working the bar and I joked with him that he does everything, nice guy. People should know that the hotel is outside of Florence, and you either take the shuttle for 7.50 Euro, or a taxi (which will cost about 25 - 30 euros each way. You will NOT walk to anywhere from this hotel, however it is a very relaxing location.
