It's very average. I can't see anything on the second floor. I asked the front desk if I could move to a higher floor. They just put things in a perfunctory way, and the real room is different from his picture! The room is so rubbish that I forgot to take a picture

The hotel exceeded our expectations from the moment we stepped inside. The reception staff greeted us warmly and efficiently checked us in, offering us a stunning room with a breath-taking view of the sea and pool. The room itself was spacious, immaculate, and the bathroom was superb. The pool area was equally impressive, offering ample space to relax. While the heated pool was a favourite among guests, the other two pools were equally enjoyable. The spa was a delightful experience, with the staff proving to be exceptionally helpful. As for dining, all the restaurants offered delicious food, but we particularly enjoyed Aquamarine. A special mention goes to Katerina from guest relations, who went above and beyond to organize special surprises for my partner's birthday. She was absolutely fantastic and ensured everything was perfect to the last detail. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Ixia area of Rhodes.

We arrived and were offered a sea view family room which was lovely. We got there quite late so rushed down to the restaurant before it closed. First impressions of the food were pretty good. When we got back to the room, we struggled with the air con. It was very warm and we were unable to turn it down. Someone came from reception to see if they could help but we didn’t have any luck. The next morning we asked at reception if they could help and were told it was like this for every room at that moment and there wasn’t anything they could do to fix it. Understandable, but there was no offer to provide a fan or something similar to help. 2 days later, I came down with violent sickness and diarrhoea. I could only assume it has came from the hotel food. Previous reviews have mentioned the same. This should really be looked into, as this could be very dangerous. It put a dampener on the holiday sadly. Although I felt better after a few days, I still struggled to eat as I was scared it would happen again. It also meant that we couldn’t make the most of the 2 complimentary meals at the a la carte restaurants. The hotel is lovely, great facilities. The spa was really nice and I enjoyed a massage on the final day of the holiday. The pool bar is also great, Sam is really lovely. Very friendly and helpful. Overall, I would say this is a nice hotel but I wouldn’t say I’d return just because of my experience of becoming ill.

On arrival at the hotel, it is very impressive. we were very impressed until we got to the room. We had a mountain view room, which was dark all day, surrounded by overgrown trees. We normally would sit out on the balcony, but over 7 days never did. it was dreary. it seems all the emphasis was put on the front of the hotel and the back was neglected. There is a pointless screen separating a seating area which makes the room even darker. However, the hotel is spotlessly clean, which makes it a mystery why my wife and i were struck down with sickness and diarrhoea for 3 days. Never get this normally. In the restaurant, it would have been nice to choose your own table. You are guided to a table which has just been used and they lay the table while you sit there. there were many tables already made up which could have been used, but they wanted to keep everything in one section. This is just lazy. There should be more information on arrival about options for eating, drinking, what is available to who. Because of the different board options, many people were very confused, as we were. They need to define what is available to who and where and when, on paper. Water needs to be more readily available. When I was sick my wife went to breakfast to get a bottle of water for me, to be told, it wasn't available. We could only get a glass of water at the bar. The food is very good, but repetitive. Some of the amenities were closed while were there and we only had air con for 1 day on the coldest day of our stay The pools are lovely. The star of the whole hotel is Sam, the pool bar lady. She was the best part of our holiday. Olympic Palace, you have a diamond in that person. She remembers everyone and is amazing at her job. All staff in the are all lovely, including the ents, can't fault them at all. Make some changes Olympic, and it would be perfect

We arrived on the first day of the hotels season, was unaware until the next day but caused a lot of waiting to check in when we arrived, it took over an hour. We took our 2 year old daughter and was instantly disappointed with the facilities to keep her entertained. The kids pool is around 4x4 ft, while they have 3 other huge adult pools I felt very let down, my daughter was one of very few children staying within this week and attended the kids disco but was the only child there so she felt very uncomfortable, I suppose it’s not the hotels fault but knowing this in advance we would of booked somewhere more lively and child friendly, the food and the hotel itself staying as adults is the best hotel I’ve personally stayed at, the staff are very polite and helpful and the are always cleaning. I definitely would recommend hiring a car which you can do in the reception, the prices are very cheap also. I wouldn’t return with my family on that basis but would definitely come back as an adults only holiday. Advice to anyone considering this hotel is to check when everything is all up and running

Firstly would like to say the hotel looks amazing. Beware if you have Mountain View rooms. My daughter had a family room which was so dark she had to have lights on at all times. You could touch the trees they were so close. The maitre de in the restaurant was the most miserable person l met on holiday. The other thing l think people should be made aware is that if you book half board which we did you are treated differently. Perhaps the hotel should go fully inclusive. Food was no different to any other all inclusive hotel we have stayed in. One final thing if you have young children the child’s section of the swimming pool is tiny. Also around the swimming pool it gets very slippery. We never had trouble finding sun beds and the hotel doesn’t allow put towels on beds at silly hours. The grounds around the hotel are lovely with lots of comfy seats. The beach is nice but pebbles and not sand so take beach shoes. Lots of restaurants near by and Rhodes town is lovely so well worth a visit.

My major gripe was the pool! Not enough sun loungers, plus very cramped and small. We arrived to the pool at 10am and nothing was available. No lazy mornings. You have to be out by 9am if you would like a lounger. There are some cafe like seats and tables, which they should get rid of and replace with more loungers maybe, as these are only used by people who never secured a lounger. The umbrellas do not move, so sometimes it is difficult get shade. You will also find it impossible to swim. As an adult, I like to do a few lengths now and then. Well you can't. The pool is rammed and you're constantly hit with a ball or you get splashed or kicked! Also you will always have other guests walking inbetween your loungers and tables to get about the pool area. Hardly relaxing! The evening entertainment is poor. They do it in the roof top bar. There is no stage. They make a clearing. No magic. No dancers. No acrobats. Just singers, a karaoke and quiz. However, my boys particularly liked Joe, as they played football and volleyball in the day at 4.30pm. We went out most evenings, as nothing to stay in the hotel for. However, onto the good. The bedroom was great. So large and clean! Really comfy beds and pillows. We had a mountain view, which was fine for us, as we don't use the balcony because we are out all day and night. Plus it's too hot out there! Air con was good. A relief to get to the room! The maids changed the beds and towels everyday, which I did think was excessive, but a fresh bed every night was lovely to get into. Maids very friendly and polite. The safe was free to use which was great. The hotel in general was clean, modern and comfortable. We found the food amazing!! Always something to enjoy. The salads were delicious! The puddings were also rich and flavoursome. The cheesecake on our last night was yummy. Finally, it would be better if the luggage room was next to the shower block. It was slightly inconvenient on the last day going back and forth all the way to reception on a different floor, to change clothes and get ready for the flight after the pool/beach. It's a good hotel, but with the pool set up and poor evening entertainment, I can't give it 5*. I think this hotel would be more suited to be an adults only hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel, our experience staying here has been amazing. The theme buffets which they have each night in the main restaurant is so nice, you won't be disappointed with the food. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they all do a fantastic job with a smile, and very pleasant. I just wanted to say a big Thank You to the reception staff, two lovely ladies who cleaned our rm 226.entertainment staff having our chats & miss dancing to "Magic in the Air". Irene and team in the restaurant, Irene we miss your lovely smile and chats, the service you bring during breakfast and dinner, you made us feel so welcome. The life guard, Pool colleague and the other colleague who takes the beach towel away, if guests have just left their towels. You are all amazing , thank you so much, we will come back again. Sonal & Nealesh Mistry 😊
