The room is seriously different from the picture, not cost-effective at all, the room is very small! Check out early and no refund! I am speechless

The garage was converted and it was OK;
The bath water smelled of sulfur, please do not disturb if you mind;

No slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, including shampoo, laundry detergent, shower gel, etc.
Check-out is very convenient, just leave the key in the lock on the door, no need to inform anyone

We had a layover in Keflavík on our way home from elsewhere. High wind speeds delayed and eventually cancelled all flights. Cue hundreds of passengers from multiple flights scrambling to book hotels at the same time.
After lots of “sold out” on every website I eventually found Galtafell and am so glad we stayed there. Super clean and comfortable, and a short walk from everything so we were able to enjoy some time enjoying the city on this unplanned stay.
When we have a proper trip to Iceland again we would definitely stay there. Thank you so much!

Comfortable stay with 2 rooms and small kitchen. Warm and bathroom with a tub. Convenient walkable to most sights and great restaurants around rown.

Awesome place to stay in Reykjavik! Thorey was very responsive and helpful. minutes from BSI bus Terminal, Museums, university and downtown. Could not have asked for better accommodations.

The property is very convenient and clean, We are Elderly couple arrival earlier.the owner let us resting in the living room and also have a room for us 2 hours early. Very much appreciated.
