Good parking space, easy check-in, clean room in a quiet area. I never really interacted with the staff so I feel giving a rating lower than 5 would be unfair. Also, worth noting - they had a note up saying breakfast at 7, but there was no staff at stated time. So, I just helped myself to whatever was there. 7 o clock means 7 o clock! Lol.

The room was very good and delivered what was promised. It was self check which I find a little cold. I would have liked to request the use of a second pillow due to a back problem. Price was good for such a nice room. And very hood shower.

This place was ok, in a general small hotel style. I would stay here again but I didn't love it. The front desk clerks were fun and helpful - including one staff person who gave us the mini-fridge out of her own room because we didn't have one in ours! But the design of the rooms is a little wonky - the shower/bathroom area doesn't have a ventilation system so there's nowhere for the moisture to go - which is going to become increasingly problematic, as you might imagine. But the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was fine and the staff were helpful, so on the whole it was positive.

Completely devoid of any character/charm and looks like some type of low end business centre place that was converted into a hotel. The girl working on the reception desk was friendly but the building itself doesn't feel welcoming. The room door kept getting stuck and we struggled several times to open it. There are only two electric points in the entire room, neither is next to the bed. The bathroom is a wet room with the shower positioned right next to the door so the entire area gets flooded and you have to step on the wet floor every time you want to reach the toilet or the sink. Really weird. If they at least had a shower curtain that would help contain the water a bit. Breakfast is included in the price but the offering is pretty disappointing. It was cheap (for Iceland) If I was staying in the area again I would pick a different place.

When I arrived my check-in was slightly delayed because they were "mopping up". That was already concerning. The first thing I noticed when I did get into my room was one of the ceiling lights was dead. The existing lights were pretty dim too. There was also several big flies. The noisy kind, bumping into the window trying to escape. I had to roll up a brochure to kill 4 of them, that was in the first hour of being in the room. I killed a smaller one too later. Then I took a shower. There was no shower door. Nothing to block water from leaving the area, and the drain was inefficient, so water almost immediately floods into the rest of the bathroom. Gross. "Mopping up". Got it now. So, slippers in the bathroom after that. Mandatory. It's an old place, and the flies can happen, the window was open (no mesh to keep flies out). But the shower thing is really rough. Even an adhesive dam/barrier on the ground would make a huge difference. Also it was hot. The hall had A/C, but room didn't. And I didn't want to open the window too much to let in more flies. So, it wasn't great. I looked forward to leaving. I hope they can do some upgrades in the future.

Clean hotel. Nice place and good value. Helpful and welcoming staff. We enjoyed our stay. It was a good place to base our day travels. Town doesn't have much to offer, but that was OK for us.

Simple, clean and functional for a one night stay. Quite cheap for Iceland. Nice walk around town to see a waterfall/stream and a short walk to the shore. It’s an easy stop on you’re way around the East.

The staff was really nice and helpful. I dropped a glass on the floor which went into thousand parts. They swept the floor right away with a smile on their face.

Never stayed there. Showed up an hour early before check in. No one at the front desk. 2 plumbers working in the kitchen. Rang the little bell at the front desk. No answer. Went back and waited in the car. Thought maybe I am early. Came back again at 4 when check in time is. Same situation. Rang the bell. Waited for 20 minutes. No one in the buillding. Sent an e mail via *******, no answer. Tried to call , phone did not connect (could be on my side). Looked around the empty hotel until I found a housekeeper cleaning one of the rooms. She did not speak English only Polish (not her fault). Mentioned something about some Studio 2 or 22. I tried to find it as I am guessing that is where the office is. Could not find it. Came back again thinking maybe there is someone at the front desk. Still no one. Left and went to another hotel in the next city. So never satayed in the hotel so can not rate the service and the room but if you claim that you have front desk servuce from 7- 22 than someone should be at the desk. If not the whole day than at least at 4 when the check in times are. So not very professional. 150$ wasted. Thank you
