I have stayed at this place twice within the past several months. Let's start with what they do well at this place: 1) room size - the room is a good size, depending on what you have booked. 2) location - convenient, easy to locate, and ample parking. Easy access to shops as it is at the edge of the town 3) parking - ample parking 4) hospitality and service - great service at the counter. Friendly and hospitable 5) good mattress Not so good review: 1) housekeeping - I will give this a 1 out of 5 for both stays. The floor does not seem to be vacuumed well, with hair (of all kinds of length) in the sink, bathroom, and entrance. 2) edges of the toilet and sink are not cleaned well. You can see dirt formation behind the toilet as well as the water outlet in the sink. A good spray of bleach and a good scrub may do the job. I have seen several times where the housekeepers just sweep the floor without mopping or even vacuuming. The first time I stayed there, I did ask for a change of room thinking they lack the staff to clean. It was after all right after the lockdown. But to experience it for the second time was not acceptable.

I was not placing too high a hope after reading the reviews online. But when I stayed there for 3 nights, I realized my fears was unfounded. Celcom reception was good even in the room. I can even have my zoom meeting and remote access my office comp with almost no lag. Wifi at the lobby is good as well for teams . All the staff are friendly and accommodative. Even the enquiry staff replies email fast after my barrage of questions as it is my first time to Malaysia after the pandemic. The rooms are very clean. Never stepped on a cleaner floor before even in 5 star hotel. The resort gives a very nature vibe good for a break from modern life. A lot of natural elements. The pool is great to spend the day. Food nothing to scream about given it is a 3 star hotel. But is good for a decent meal. Overall is a place I can go back and spend some time unwinding and bond with family.

Good customer service from TRIP. Was booked wrong date but managed to change to the date I need. Room is clean and quiet, because no windows, but I don’t mind as I need a good sleep with quiet environment.

This place is considered clean. Just the WiFi internet is not strong. The bed is nice, air conditioning is working great. It's quiet at night away from the town area and still has many shops and restaurants. It's really convenient

The hotel is centrally located with all amenities nearby. The receptionist who attended to us was friendly and helpful with information. There are also many food outlets nearby the hotel.

It meant that I couldn't buy perishable items like tofu or keep beverages chilled, limiting my options for snacking or enjoying cold drinks. One of the most significant downsides was the steep price for a night's stay. At RM200 per night, I expected more from a budget hotel. Considering the hotel's one-star rating, the cost seemed excessive for the amenities and overall experience provided. On a positive note, the hotel's proximity to Regent Court Restaurant, TF Value, Steamboat Restaurant, Musang King Dessert, and Family Mart was undoubtedly a convenience. These nearby establishments made it easy to access various dining options and satisfy any immediate needs. However, when considering the overall experience, I would have expected a budget hotel like Tumike to offer more competitive pricing and improved amenities. The lack of additional pillows and a fridge limited the comfort and convenience of my stay. Therefore, I would recommend exploring other accommodation options in the area before settling for Tumike Hotel Bentong.
