Thumbs up -I must say . Almost all staff is very friendly and helpful. Even the room cleaners is very friendly and helpful. Thumbs up again for the concierge staff as well . I specifically recommend this 海尔洲际酒店宾客关系部的 Ivy 王家旸 and one of the cleaning departments lady which I forget to get her name -(she is new trained - 2 month only ) date 11 jan . Room 1256 . She is very caring and helpful. I was rather upset with the morning breakfast staff - all is so unprofessional. Training shld be mandatory to all the staff . They will rather rude and no respect to guest . I do not wish to explain too much on my unpleasant experiences here .

It is really friendly to families with children, especially this is the first time for my husband and I to take our children on a long trip. During the five-day and four-night trip to Qingdao, all departments in the hotel took very good care of us. The concierge would take the initiative to help us get things and open the car door every day when we go out and come back. The ladies at the front desk, lobby, and restaurant also smiled and greeted us from beginning to end. In addition, the room attendant Sister Zhang saw that we brought children and gave us small toys. Seeing that the children liked to eat oranges, she cut them for us and sent them to the room for several consecutive days. She was also very kind to notice that I was on my menstrual period and prepared ginger tea and warm stickers. The night before we were about to leave, she came to ask how our stay was and gave the children a toy. In short, it is highly recommended for families with children to come here. The service is attentive and thoughtful, and the environment is clean and tidy. I give everyone a big thumbs up👍🏻

Well, Crown Plaza is our usual our favorite hotel and also our first-choice hotel in Qingdao city and naturally chose the Crowne Plaza Qingdao again. The hotel hasn’t lost any of its avantgarde charm. Furthermore, the employees are still as professional and helpful as I remember them from the last time (this time I would like to mention Ms. Fanny from the front desk, hassel-free check in that was quick and we were given a free upgrade) . The rooms are spacious, and the amenities will cater to every whim. The convenient location is an added bonus, which doesn’t need to be mentioned separately as the hotel location which is near to five four squares.

The hotel is a bit dated, and the facilities were average. The pool area was a bit old and required everyone to wear a swimming cap, though it's pointless. The sauna in the women's area was broken and I was a bit disappointed about that. The service and staff we very nice, but other than the front desk workers, the staff did not really speak English(which is fine, since my partner and I speak Chinese, but it is something to note if you are a tourist who does not speak Chinese). The room itself was average, I think we paid a bit more than it was worth, but the location was worth it(walking distance to the water and lots of many good restaurants and cafes). The room was a nonsmoking room, but yet it smelled like smoke even after the staff had cleaned it. Smoke smell seems to be imbedded into the sheets or walls. The bathroom was nice and clean.

The walls in the public area of the homestay are the exhibition of the boss’s fishing achievements, as well as fishing equipment. There is a courtyard in front of the house, which runs through several rooms facing the sea. Across the yard is the sea dam, and one or two hundred meters along the dam can reach the Lover Dam. From the stone ladder of the dam, you can go down to the beach and catch the sea to play in the water. Take the kids to catch crabs every night. By the way, the close-up waves hit the roar of the reef and feel the power of the sea. It is also very close to the Olympic Sailing Center. Due to time, it is a bit regretful that I have not had time to take my children to experience sailing. Next time, take your children to stay for a few more days and experience the wit of leisurely life by the sea.
