Cocorico Luxury House - Porto Reviews

Hotel room had beautiful high ceilings and was tastefully decorated despite being in an old building a lift was available. A great location and beautiful breakfast area. We struggled to get a cup of tea milk for coffee always having to ask and not always being made available. we thought breakfast was okay but nothing exceptional there may have been other things available, but we didn’t really know.

A tastefully designed hotel on the edge of the Riberia district. Spacious rooms incl comfortable bed and generous size bathroom (we had double vanity and double showers). Breakfast was a simple a la carte style yet delicious. Main reception staff helpful and made an effort to personalise our stay. Hotel restaurant closed on Sunday and Monday nights but lots of good restaurants nearby

We loved Cocorico! Unique rooms with character and all of the amenities one could need. Comfortable beds. Amazing breakfast! And very warm and attentive staff.

We absolutely loved staying at Cocorico. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff (especially Susanna) was beyond helpful, the breakfast was phenomenal, and the location was excellent. I took note of the hotel's brand, because I would choose it whenever it was an opoion, without a doubt. And I'm a picky traveler!

Great hotel with fantastic staff. They baked gluten free bread and cakes for my breakfast which was amazing. Reception staff and staff at breakfast were fantastic. Note that reception closes at 9pm with no service after this

This is a very inviting hotel, and a great place to stay in Porto. While it's a little off the beaten path, it is close to several restaurants and public transportation--and being a bit away from the city center, the neighborhood was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, greeting us warmly upon our arrival, and ensuring we had everything we might want during our stay. The room we were in, at the back of the hotel, was quiet, spacious, and handsome; the bed very comfortable.

Great rooms, great location and a lovely team. The breakfast was really good too. Our room was a great size with an amazing bathroom.

Entirely fantastic stay. Room was lovely, staff were lovely, breakfast was delicious and relaxing (the restaurant is as beautiful as the rooms). We loved the location, close to everything we wanted to see and do, but just out of city center (by maybe one or two short blocks) to make it a bit more peaceful. This place is doing small scale luxury perfectly. I would not hesitate to stay again when in Porto.

The room was large and had everything we needed! The oversized tub and bathrobes were appreciated! The doors opened to a small porch, which was nice to have our coffee on in the morning. The staff was exceptional and we really enjoyed the breakfast that was provided!

We had a great state at CocoRico. We had room 10 which had a loft for our boys with its own bathroom. The neighborhood was closed to everything and an easy walk. Breakfast at the hotel was a great way to start the day. Could not have enjoyed it more.

Perfect location, clean room, nice host, excellent breakfast.On the day we were leaving we had to go out early.The owner of the house prepared us very good breakfast to go,and also called a taxi, best place to stay.The room has a very good street view and we enjoyed our stay, perfect venue.

A wonderful 5 days in Porto. Cocorico was easy to find, very clean, all the staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was a delight. Our family room was spacious, and the facilities were very good...

We found Cocorico at the last minute and I am so happy we did. The accommodations were lovely. The quaint guest house was homey without being intrusive. The breakfast was much more than what we expected which included fresh juice and croissants/bread along with a made to order option. The beds and sheets were a high quality; room was very clean, had a lovely balcony, espresso maker and a refrigerator. While the location is A+, it's the staff that makes this place so special. They are warm, friendly and accommodating. It was my favorite place to stay in Portugal!

1000% recommended! Beautiful, homey, excellent service, great food, great location. From the concierge to the staff attending the breakfast, bar area, unbelievable service! Will definitely recommend ❤️
