Good boutique hotel experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. All the staff were very cordial and made it a wonderful association. I would like to point out Monica and Jai Kumar for their hospitality and special attention to us. Strongly recommend , if you want a hassle free and great accommodation in white town .

Can’t fault the location. Generally clean and efficient AC in the room. The bed was not the comfiest and the lights from the reception area easily shone through the thin curtains so sleep was affected. However, Ambrose was particularly helpful throughout my stay. A very professional and friendly front office ***ager who really couldn’t do enough to make my stay a good one.

Strategically located just next to the beach front road in white town. All major attractions are close by. Most of the restaurants are at stone throw distance. It sits on Jawahar road, which has major road side shopping options. Stay was very comfortable with the helping staff, even to the extent of helping in booking an auto to take to tourist places. They don’t have their own parking as most of the other heritage homes in white town. But this particular villa has an adjacent not-so-busy lane, where we could park our car comfortably, but definitely at owners’ risk.

A comfortable and lovely stay. We booked the balcony suite with 2 rooms. The rooms were cozy and clean. The staff was amazing, you can always find someone on the reception, you can ping them on whatsapp or just call and you will get reply. They even helped us with restaurant recommendations and other things. Loved our stay here and will recommend others to visit the villa too.

Absolutely gorgeous 19th century bunglow in the heart of whitetown, pondicherry with quick access to a lot of cafes, restaurants and the beach. Positives - Location, easy access to amenities, architecture, cleanliness. Negatives - slightly unkempt and service could be better.

The property is in a good and convenient location. Great hospitality! Friendly staff - Robert, Patricia, Shenbagam, Prema and Stella. Simple and tasty breakfast. Neatly maintained pet friendly place. Liked the colonial French style architecture - its an old property well preserved. It was a good stay. Courtyard (next to the front desk) could be more presentable and greener. Would've appreciated if the A/C and fan were checked and properly serviced prior to our arrival. Sanitary fittings need to be renewed. Would've liked to see fresh flowers/decent faux flowers in a French style vase instead of cheap looking plastic flowers in plastic pots. Will definitely visit again.

Boutique style hotel with only 10 rooms in a beautiful original building dating from more than 250 years back in a peaceful surrounding - coming in from the busy streets it is like a haven of peace. I had a room on two levels, spacious, with AC, a coffee machine and a double bed. Staff is very friendly, Indian-style laid back and everything is done with a smile - don't be in a hurry, they will get there in the end. The hotel serves breakfast only but that is no issue in view of the number of restaurants in Pondecheri. Breakfast is simple, eggs however you want them on de***d, scrambled eggs, sausages, juice.and coffee. The French owner (who has had the original building longtimes in his family and has turned it in a hotel) offered background on the hotel and explained how and where to go. Enjoyable stay in this hotel.

We stayed here for a night during the peak tourist season end December. Loved our stay at this little boutique hotel with its open courtyard to sit and chat & have cups of tea/ coffee, it’s antique furniture and its history. At the same time the comforts of modern day living are seamlessly combined with its olde worlde charm & heritage. The hotel is also walking distance from the Ashram, the promenade & some really good restaurants including one right opposite the hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is a complimentary breakfast which we didn't have as we had breakfast at the restaurant opposite. The hotel offers parking as well. On the whole highly recommend.

Convenient location, walkable distance to the promenade, vinayaka temple and aurobindo ashram. Breakfast is served only if we pre book, which we didn't as surguru was right across. The rooms are clean though small. The ***ager and staff are very friendly and helpful
