Ikos Olivia

The staff at this hotel are amazing. They are 10/10. We went in may having previously stayed at Oceania before. The hotel was 90% parents with babies and toddlers. It was unbearable with screaming everywhere. Nappies prams. Middle class parents. Milo / Hugo / Henry / Oliver (pick a name). I love to see Henry run up and down the restaurant with a Peppermill 7 times. I love that Hugo did a poo in a potty on the beach right next to us. I love to see how loud Oliver can scream at dinner at 930pm as I’m trying to eat a pad Thai. Get the vibe? I am sure it’s fine the rest of the year but we won’t be coming back because you can tell that the accountants have had a hand in the food and drink. The wine value has dropped significantly and the high value items have now been rationed. Even the feta has been “dusted” over the salads. I have this vision of 2.6cm cubes of feta being rationed. You try getting a bottle of the wine you actually want. It was not like this before. A shame really as it’s a beautiful place with amazing staff and I honestly don’t know how they put up with the screaming kids and entitled rude middle class parents that love to complain about everything. French German Dutch families all seem to have impeccably behaved kids. A really stunning place and I’m sure it’s great in the school Holidays. Great food in fresco, the garden and Anaya. You try getting a booking in there tho?! Buffet was poor. Provence was very poor for breakfast lunch and dinner. The garden was a nice respite and should be adults only. Nice bar by the beach. We slept really well. The room service food and room service breakfast were excellent. Again though try getting the wine you want vs the €5 bottle they send / offer you. The eat out option at Mouragio was great. Lovely food.

Do not hesitate to go to this hotel it is outstanding and we have been on lots of occasions and never fails to impress. The choice of restaurants, food and top quality drinks are great and the service is impeccable. Special shout out to Thomas from the pool bar, Dimitris from the Lobby bar, Spiros in Provence and of course Ceri that seemed to pop up everywhere. We want to thank Nicci one of the Managers for taking care of us and ensuring we had a great holiday, absolutely 10/10 and thank you to all staff for welcoming us back with hugs. This hotel and staff go out of their way to go above and beyond and if they haven’t got something they will get it or do it. The only downside is it spoils you for going anywhere else as you would always compare and so far even worldwide it’s unbeatable.

This was a a wonderful family holiday with our 1 yr old. Special mentions to George the bartender and Osia who babysat who were brilliant with our little boy (and his very vocal approval of the bar!). Its great to holiday asa family without having to sacrifice brilliant service and excellent standards of food and drink! We will be back

We have visited here 6 times now and it gets better and better with every trip. It really merits 5 stars plus. From all the staff to the food on offer you will find it hard to complain. The grounds are beautifully kept. The cleanliness is exceptional particularly in public areas. Everyone tries so hard to please you. I wish they had a system where you could tip all the staff as each one contributes to the success of Hotel Olivia perhaps 1 large gratuity box at reception to be shared weekly and evenly. As we spent most time at the main pool and bar we had exceptional service from Evalina Dimitris x 2 and Thomas. Also Kostas our personal driver(cab car)

IKOS is so good I won't be able to go anywhere else, this place is insanely good. I stayed here with my young family (1 & 3) and we had the BEST time. Nothing is too much trouble, even when the kids don't eat whats on offer the staff are so accommodating and will get them something else even if not on the menu. It's great having so many families there as well because the kids can play with other children as well and everybody is in the same boat with the challengers of toddlers and young children. Yes it's expensive but it's worth every penny, you get everything you need to make your holiday easier. People have always said going on holiday with kids is just looking after your kids in another country, it didn't feel like that at IKOS because of all of the things they could do, all the staff, the food. They made holidaying with kids easy. From the transfers, the food, the gelato, everything!

We have just returned from an idyllic week at this beautiful resort. Yes there are a lot of young children, but this is a family hotel outside of the school holidays, so what do you expect? There are plenty of adult only hotels if you prefer. We didn’t find it to be a nuisance at all, indeed it was lovely seeing so many happy families enjoying their holiday. Everything you read about the high standards of service and food and drinks is true. The staff go above and beyond at every opportunity. Special thanks must go to General Manager Maria, Miriella and George at Potami and Enrique at The Garden. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. I really couldn’t recommend it more!

BEWARE YOUNG CHILDREN EVERYWHERE Booked this place for a quiet holiday The buffet restaurant is lovely but kids were running around whilst your trying to relax and eat There was food thrown on the floor and left by certain parents kids were helping themselves to food touching foods with there dirty hands It's a shame as there was decent parents looking after there kids, where ever you went there was kids,there is an adult only pool but parents took there kids there also there's adult only beaches but l saw kids in those too, Young kids screaming and crying There are a couple of places to eat no kids allowed which gave us a break I'm a parent and work with children This place is a lovely place all the staff are 10 out of 10 I would never go back to this place due too many screaming kids running around doing what they like in food areas it's like a kids party every day and night I love IKOS but would never go back Bad parents equals bad kids

Exceeded our expectations. We were so well looked after by all the staff in all areas. The quality of the restaurants, bars and facilities are top notch. Special thanks to Petros and his sport centre team who helped my husband with his additional road bike rental and a great big hug to Dimitris who looked after my girls so well for 14 days on the trampoline. We missed them already!! Until next year!

Everything was amazing. I would love to thank the staff: Athina (assigant manager), Ria (Reception Manager), special thanks to the cooks from the reastaurant Flavors. But in general everyone was amazing at Olivia. We are visiting Ikos Olivia since 2015 and we will continue every year:)
