This is a gorgeous hotel that is centrally-located inside the ancient city with great service. It’s like living in a museum!
The hotel is housed in a thoughtfully renovated ancient college with a beautiful courtyard for chatting, eating, and chilling. The rooms are large, clean, and quiet. I really enjoyed the traditional mat style bed.
The hotel is a short walk away from the bustling Main Street. It was very convenient to walk to most attractions inside the walled City. The hotel owner also arranged free transport to take me to the high speed rail station.
The service was wonderful. No complaints!
If you’re staying here, I recommend checking out not just the ancient walled city but also the ancient temples in the area.
I would stay here again without hesitation.

Great location, close to all sight seeing spots, good breakfast, free pickup to and from railway station. It would be good if price can be cheaper. Recommended.

What a fabulous hotel! Excellent, helpful staff who went the extra mile to help reschedule and organise transfer, beautiful courtyard and rooms, great location inside the city walls, delicious breakfast and heaps of bottled water - could not have asked for more!

A very satisfying stay. I booked two days. I was afraid that I would not be used to sleeping on a big kang bed. As a southerner, I wanted to experience it, so I booked a big kang bed for one night and a big bed for the other. As a result, the big kang on the first day was so pleasantly surprised that I fell in love with it at once. So they upgraded us to a big kang room for free on the second night. Because we love to drink tea, I don't know how many bottles of mineral water we drank for free. The location is quiet and the environment is comfortable. The experience is very good
