Upon arrival at the hotel the staff were friendly and inviting. We were checked in and given information about breakfast and room service. We were then taken to our villa by golf buggy. We were shown our villa and the various areas and controls for them and then left to settle in. We were also told the mini bar contents was free and refreshed each day (2 cabs of coke, 2 water, small pack of oreos and a kitkat). At first glance it is a lovely hotel and the pool jets were fun. On closer inspection it became disappointing and didn’t improve, more on that in a sec. At breakfast there was a menu to select one item from and the portions were massive and tasted very nice. There was also a large buffet selection you could help yourself to. Fresh tea and coffee was available upon request. On arrival we advised we had an early morning which would start before breakfast opened. We were offered a takeaway breakfast that would be waiting at reception for us. The next morning upon arrival it was apparent that the order had been forgotten. Breakfast had opened by this time and we had to quickly shove some food down us while our driver waited for us. That evening we enjoyed our pool but it wasn’t in the cleanest condition with debris at the bottom and leaves floating on the surface. On the first evening after check-in, I was walking around the villa and caught the bottom of my foot on a sharp part of the wooden floor. I did advise the staff the next morning on our way out for the day and it was fixed by the time we returned. However the injury did cause pain and irritation for the remainder of the holiday as it was on the bottom of my foot. Upon returning from our first day out we found that our room had been cleaned but they had removed our dirty towels and not replaced them with new. I had to contact reception to request fresh ones. They had also turned off the air-con that we had left on to ensure the room was cool when we returned. The following day I decided to have a bath to sooth my sun burn and found that the tap to the bath was broken and there was just a small stick pointing out for me to use to control the temp and flow. We also realised that we were lucky enough to have booked a villa with a pool, as the hotel does not have a communal one and not all villas have there own. For the rating of the hotel and the price we paid it was a little disappointing. The staff remained cheerful and helpful for the duration of our stay but the issues did dampen our experience.

Mom Tri's Villa Royale

Kata Beach Phuket|0.86km from SSS Phuket Dive Freedive & Surf Center
Three years ago, after a month on business in northern Thailand, my husband and I stayed at this resort for a week. Choosing here was more or less accidental. We wanted a quiet beach and we felt like paradise in our hearts. The scenery is so beautiful and the staff is great and near perfect. The room was very large, beautifully decorated and there was a quiet beach. We loved everything here, so we decided to come to Thailand for a month to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. And come back to Mom Tri's Royal Villas Resort on Memorial Day. But unfortunately we were disappointed this time. We asked for airport transfer but no one greeted us at the entrance of the hotel. Walking to the lobby, I saw several staff chatting there, I don't know what we are coming. The resort has expanded, maybe this has brought more business to the resort, but for us, it has lost its original charm. The room attendant was still great, we had a room as soon as we arrived, and the decoration was very nice. But the restaurant staff seemed to lack training and obviously couldn't do the job. Our room was quite good, but it was shown everywhere that it was old. There were a lot of people on the beach, of course, it was not the fault of the resort, but it still affected the overall atmosphere. The resort is very proud of its cellar and has been on the wine appreciation magazine, but as a wine lover, I am disappointed that there is no reasonable wine here. I understand that the government has imposed a harsh excise tax on imported wine, But I think at least some Thai wines (some are good) should be in, and that's shameful. This is the beach, it's hot. I wanted a low wine, but the pool bar closed after 7pm and the only reasonable price wine can't be bought. I went to the breakfast room once and an accident that morning made me unhappy. I was unhappy for a while despite the manager explaining to me and apologizing. If management did say a little more, I would be discouraged, but not. I decided to go to the spa for a foot massage. The spa itself is very beautiful and the decoration is very elegant, which is the grade that the resort should have. The one who gave me a massage was a pretty young man, but the technology was not good. I have been to Thailand many times and I know what the real massage is like. Usually the masseur has to use some questions such as strength is not enough, pain is not pain. But this person did not ask, and obviously he did not know where the acupoint is. I later pressed it again in the temple, very good, a little spent. Maybe I was a bit picky but I really liked it before and it wasn't cheap. I also went back to this type of resort and this was the first time I felt very disappointed.

We were in this hotel with 9.02.23 - 18.02.23g In Tai we were for the first time, when we arrived at the hotel, we delivered cool drinks, it was very pleasant, we brought baggage to the room, the number we initially chose with the exit to the pool, we had 709 , in the room clean ,white clean , bed linen , nice smell , cleaned every day , brought gel , shampoo , soap , pasta tooth (small tubes) we had enough ,in the room there is a refrigerator working all right , service excellent ,just try to help ,very welcoming ,responsive ! Before the sea 3 minutes walk ,very close ,paid lying on the beach 100bat one There is a cafe two-storey, you can not have a expensive lunch and delicious! To the 7 evelen store, the cheapest network store in Tai ,minute 7-10 go .At Phuket at 11 p.m. you will no longer find practically anyone , at this time all bars almost and cafes and markets are already closed ! As a result, we really liked a lot of places to look , on a bike perfect there to ride , everything can be looked at yourself and cheaper at times , don't buy from guides at the hotel tour it is very expensive !!! Hotel excellent is still back , breakfast is good , there is something to eat for everyone !
Maiiam Bungalows Kata Beach

These bungalows are just a quiet paradise in the middle of the noisy and crowded Kata. When we first arrived, we were upset that we would be living “in the middle of the street,” but the bungalows themselves were deeply “recessed” inside the houses. Even when the music was playing loudly in the neighboring cafes at night, it could barely reach the bungalow; I generally keep quiet about people’s conversations. Our room was very spacious, stylish, with a large bed. Two air conditioners literally cool the room in 5 minutes, we slept with one, and two were literally the Arctic. In the middle between all the bungalows there is a wonderful clean swimming pool with sun loungers, open until late. The pool has its own bar, they always provided ice for our drinks, you can order cocktails. The staff is wonderful, they helped with all questions, very friendly. There is a laundry room. There is simply an incredible amount of things near the hotel - cafes, shops, souvenirs. Kata Beach is a 7-minute walk, Kata Noi is 20 minutes away. Public parking is 2 minutes away, we left our rental car there for several days in a row. We stayed there for 5 days, I would have gladly stayed for an eternity if it weren’t for the further route and transfer to Koh Lipe. I definitely recommend it, there are simply no downsides.

We have rested in Phuket many times and for the first time I ate so deliciously. We went to the cafe at the Kata station hotel every day. Incredibly delicious borscht, dumplings, okroshka, Olivier. I did not expect this to try in Phuket. Like at home. Delicious kvass. I advise everyone. Good service. True, the restaurant is not big and is not on the first line. But I advise you to find on the map by the name Kata station and you will definitely be satisfied. Lovely kind staff and wonderful very helpful manager Alkan. Thank you

The price/performance ratio is very high, the bed is very big, and the swimming pool is very large. I will stay here again next time. It is very close to the beach. The hotel is very affordable. I highly recommend it. However, if you bring children, you will have to pay extra for the home, which is not humane. Other hotels do not have this rule, it would be better if it could be corrected.
