The hotel, which is around 10 years old, is located on a very narrow sandy beach and the adjacent swimming pool is completely overcrowded with loungers. Relaxation looks different, absolutely no privacy and children screaming and jumping into the water. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet restaurant is also completely overcrowded. This 5-star hotel can only be recommended to a limited extent. Apart from the bedroom and the spa area, this hotel definitely offers no opportunity for rest and relaxation. The friendly staff speaks and understands English very poorly. The hotel would be well advised to either take in far fewer guests or to carry out major expansion work. The price-performance ratio is only satisfactory.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel! The facilities were absolutely top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the stunning pool—it was huge, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The private beach was just as amazing, with pristine sand and crystal-clear waters. We loved spending our afternoons there, soaking up the sun and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
However, there were a couple of small downsides. The bathroom had a large glass window that made it a bit awkward when showering or using the toilet, as the other person in the room could see in. There was a roller blind for privacy, but unfortunately, it was a bit see-through, which didn’t fully solve the issue.
Also, the soundproofing of the room wasn’t great, and we could hear some noise from the corridor. The AC also could have been better, as it wasn’t as powerful as we expected, especially considering the tropical weather.
Despite these minor points, our overall experience was fantastic, and I would still highly recommend this hotel I will be back to this hotel the next time I am in Phu Quoc. There is also a lovely night market opposite the hotel which was a nice surprise.

Room was ok in general but some of the fittings didn’t make sense—electrical outlet right next to the sink, clothes hooks set really high up, small shower partition so the bathroom floor would get very wet and slippery. Not child friendly.
Our room had a great view, the pools and beach were amazing, and hotel is right across from a night market with lots of food choices.

The beach is beautiful, and watching the sunset every day is very enjoyable. The overall style of the resort is primitive and original, which may be more preferred by Europeans and Americans. The room facilities are really rudimentary, and the most important thing is that there is no sound insulation. When you go to bed depends on when the TV is turned off next door, and when you get up depends on when the waiter waters the flowers...
Trotting the world or hopping from the mainland. Revving up or winding down. Solo, as a couple, or with friends and family. This 5-Star Resort in Phu Quoc offers the ultimate beachfront luxury.
The places that global nomads visit should be equally unique and open-minded as they are. That’s why they’re drawn to Pullman Phu Quoc Beach Resort. This flagship resort by Pullman, located on the island’s southwest coast just 12 minutes from the airport, is tailor-made for those searching for serious play and a playful place to work.
Opened in 2020, this vibrant eco-resort was designed for cosmopolitan travelers from the ground up. Spanish architect and urban planner Salvador Pérez Arroyo gave the hotel complex fluid lines and a kinetic whirl. From the air, the resort resembles a fish swimming toward the Gulf of Thailand: the side wings are the fins, the pool is its body, and the main building is a fan tail.
This is no concrete jungle, but a luxurious beach resort. Greenery or golden sand makes up 80% of the seven-hectare resort. At the western edge is a 150m stretch of Long Beach (Bai Truong), for hotel guests and the occasional local fisherman. And beyond that, the endless sea and sky.
Inside the lobby, one space flows seamlessly into the next. Dark wood and curious artwork draw the eye to the impressive winding staircase and, then, an overhead passageway. The towering Lighthouse Bar shines as both a beacon and centerpiece. This is The Junction, a vibrant hub for co-working and co-playing, a welcoming space for savoring your welcome drink and other refreshments.
Because Pullman understands the pleasures of globetrotters, we have created 331 sophisticated rooms, suites, cabanas, and a decadent pool villa. Each space features the latest in connectivity and technology and a personal terrace or balcony for uplifting downtimes. Dining options range from Phu Quoc’s finest steakhouse and a pop-up seafood restaurant to food carts that roam the resort.
At this Pullman Beach Resort in Phu Quoc, kids have several places to call their own. Not to mention, teenagers can chill out and make friends during activities designed just for them – no parents allowed. Adults get to plan their agenda. Do everything under the sun or do nothing at all.
Along the southwestern coastline of Phu Quoc Island, Pullman has created a sophisticated playground for a new generation of global travelers. Your next adventure awaits.

Nice view . Large swimming pool. Has private beach and offer kayaking, beach volleyball activities. Shuttle bus to night market and airport is very convenient. My husband wasn’t feeling well and hotel quickly arranged a doctor to assist.
The bath wasn’t cleaned thoroughly.

Villa is large and clean, with a pretty big swimming pool that can actually swim. Services are good, providing an app to communicate with the staff and able to book services through it, like book buggy or in villa BBQ etc. But most of the staff need to improve their English speaking abilities, i guess only 1/3 of the staff can actually communicate with English. Other than that, it’s a very good villa.

The service at the rooftop bar was bad! We were 1st group customer and we wanted to have some time to think what we wanted to drink - the lady waiter came to take order and we mentioned just a while. She rudely said order fast or else you have to wait long when customers arrive. Pouring beers / drinks need a long wait ?

Magnificent hotel. Rooms were really nice with big balconies facing the beautiful sunset view. Best kid’s room EVER! I doubt it you will find a better kid’s room than Regent’s. Breakfast was top notch, service was good and the staffs are very attentive to your request. Beach is clean with a lot of daybeds for guest and even a gazebos with seating and table. I will definitely coming back in the future👍

I recently stayed at the Movenpick, and while the hotel is nice with a great pool and easy beach access, there are a few areas for improvement. The beach is clean, and the staff at the Aura restaurant are excellent.
However, even though we weren’t visiting during peak season, the facilities felt too small. Breakfast was crowded, and we had to wait in line, only to find it cramped inside. The same issue happened with the chocolate hour at 3:30 PM—there wasn’t enough space for everyone.
One major issue was the towel reservation situation by the pool. Every day when we arrived around 9 AM, all the lounge chairs were taken, even though no one was using them or the pool. People would leave their towels on chairs at 7 or 8 AM and show up hours later, which is frustrating. It’s disappointing to see so many people sitting on the floor while empty seats remain. I really hope management addresses this, as it’s something I’ve never experienced at other Movenpick resorts.
Lastly, the curtain between the bedroom and bathroom doesn’t provide enough privacy, especially when using the toilet.
Overall, a nice stay, but these issues could definitely be improved.
Immerse yourself in island living, revel in the tranquility of your surroundings and appreciate the Vietnamese hospitality at Mövenpick Villas & Residences Phu Quoc.
Mövenpick Villas & Residences, conveniently located within the resort complex, offers stunning private pool villas and spacious residence apartments. Overall we had a good stay but I would consider it as a 4 star instead of 5 and there were some issues during our stay.
Pros: 2 swimming pools. One of them on the beach and also the beach is “private* thought anyone can come if they wish to. It’s just a bit far from other places.
Staff are friendly in general.
They have an airport shuttle at certain times I believe it is every 2 hour so if it suits you you can have a free shuttle service.
Cons:
It is a very much family friendly hotel and if you are a couple and looking for a quite romantic getaway it might not be suitable? if you are unlucky you will just be having kids playing valleyball in the swimming pool screaming all day along. And the staff do not do anything about it although there is a sign saying “be considerate and not to make loud noise”.
Breakfast is okay, a lot of unhealthy stuff like cakes, fries etc etc.
Not much facilities in the room not even an espresso machine but a kettle and powder coffee.
As some of the other reviews say we had a horrible smell coming from drain and the housekeeping had to spray the room to cover up the smell.

Outstanding
MMichael JohnStaff were great. Came with airport transfer both ways.
There was a bit of work going on in the rooms where we stayed but not interfering with noise just a bit messy on the floor.
Room was nice and big and good bathroom. Took a pool view room with was great.
Breakfast was great. Slightly dissapointed with evening menu cooking.
Hood gym, great long pool if you like a mor ING swim, and literally on the beach.
The roo. Had a smell slightly of damp but I think just because of the rain off peak season just ending. The rooms probably haven't bee fully used and maybe empty and closed for a while.
If not for that and the working I would have said 5 for cleanliness.
GGuest UserIt was our first time travelling to PQC Island and we had total 4 families. 4 Adults and 4 kids and we booked 3 bedrooms villa which had 2 king size beds and 2 twins beds with private pool. The villa was very beautiful especially the unique interior design with private pool . It was pretty clean until we saw a big bugs dying on the floor. We were fine about it which it didnt bother us much. And we still loved it. We paid around HK4000 per night for 2 nights which had included 8 breakfast buffet style. The hotel provided free shuttle bus to pick us up from the airport. But one thing I couldnt understand was the water bottle provided in the villa. The hotel only gave us 6 free bottles everyday. If you request extra water, they had to charge you with unreasonable price. We had 8 ppl in the villa but they only gave u 6. I have stayed at other countries hotel with free water bottles refill but Wyndham needs to charge me for that which I really cant understand as water in Vietnam is so cheap. I was so shocked when I heard about it and I complained it to the front desk. At the end, they did give me 4 more bottles of water without charging me. One more thing I didnt like the most was the breakfast. Although they had many varieties, the quality of food was pretty bad and it didnt look good at all. It really turned down my appetite. The only food I can really eat was the hard boil eggs without eating the egg yolk and the black olives. For the prices I had paid, i think the hotel really needed to improve the food quality as it did look disgusting to me.
GGuest UserLocated at the southernmost tip of Phu Quoc Island, you will need to spend a lot of time to explore other destinations.
I think it would be okay if you only travel to the southern part of Phu Quoc Island.
Because the resort is large, having to wait to get on the buggy was a bit inconvenient. (It is an unavoidable part.)
My child hurt his leg because the entrance to the swimming pool included in the villa was not clearly visible.
It would be nice if something could be done to ensure that the stairs are clearly distinguished.
The beach and sunset view from the pool was very nice.
GGuest UserThe biggest tragedy of this trip happened in this hotel! I really didn’t expect it! The ground next to the private pool in the villa suite may be uneven due to age, and some floors have sunken 2-3 cm. Children accidentally tripped over these small holes when swimming or playing in the pool, and when they fell they hit the floor next to them. There was a loud noise and the glass on the small table shattered to the ground. Fortunately, it was tempered glass and the child was not scratched. We discussed this matter with the hotel the next morning. The hotel first asked if anyone was injured. It's not a bad idea whether you need to see a doctor or not. But then it became a bit unacceptable to me. The hotel staff said that if anyone is injured, the hotel will be responsible for compensation and expenses. But now that we are not injured, it means that the glass was broken because of us, so we have to compensate according to the price. Let me pay 900,000 VND. I just want to ask, 1. Is it my fault that there are many holes on the ground? 2. The rattan desk in the photo has a raised top. How unsafe is it to place a piece of glass on it without any fixing? Is this also our reason? 3. If someone is injured, the hotel will be held responsible, but if someone is not injured, it will be entirely the guest’s fault? Does this mean that my child should be injured in order not to pay compensation? I really can’t understand it! 4. How should the price of a small piece of glass be calculated? The hotel couldn't provide me with price standards, but the one-time price was 900,000 VND!
In the end, nothing worked and I was compensated 450,000 VND.
If you choose this hotel, just pay attention to the glass on this small table. It is really dangerous, completely floating on a semicircular convex surface!
In fact, except for this problem, this hotel is generally good. The environment is very good. It is a single-family villa and the room is very large and comfortable. It also has a private swimming pool. There are tutu cars to pick you up when you go out. If you book in advance at the airport, there is a free car. , the waiter service is also very good, but almost none of them can speak Chinese, and communication relies entirely on translation software. All the people staying here are Korean tourists and European and American tourists. All services and food tastes are based on the habits of these countries. Chinese people may feel that the experience is slightly inferior.
It's a coincidence that I stayed in this hotel. I visited it once with a travel agency not long after the hotel opened in 2018 and I didn't even remember the name or location of the hotel. Five years later, I took my whole family on a free trip and booked a hotel online, only to find out when I arrived that I happened to be staying in the same hotel as before! It was quite fateful. If the broken glass had not happened, this trip might have been a very good memory in my memory!
If something is broken, you should be compensated, but the responsibilities should be clearly defined, and price standards should be provided. In addition, the hotel should consider safety when configuring such a table. There are always many accidents and regrets in life. I hope the next time will be better.
PS. It is easy to trip over such a pit, and it is easier for such a tabletop glass to slip off when placed on it.
KKhakhaLovely. We chose the panoramic ocean view room and it was awesome. I booked 2 rooms and I was able to use the middle door to move between each with ease. The sunrise and sunset could be seen from the rooms and or on the balcony. The hotel room and public spaces were clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. They even helped us to book tours while there. The food was good and the menu changed every day. They have a restaurant and bar that has fire shows at nights and it’s fun to watch. I would definitely recommend.
EE. Ch.The Staff at the reception were amazing. Very welcoming, big smiles and so helpful. Requests were fulfilled immediately and I had a few :D anyway I asked for a quiet room on the top floor. I got it. I asked to be able to enjoy breakfast two times (at the opening at 6 AM and before closing around 10 AM). That in order to better manage my diabetes type 2 condition. They made sure I could get that too.
The staff at the restaurant was not so welcoming. Just doing their job. For a nice start of the day smiles and a friendly welcoming attitude would help...
The food for breakfast was plentiful and good. Items were replenished until the closing time.
The room was not very large but nice. The bed was comfortable. There was a safe and a fridge but nothing to do some ironing. The bathroom was very functional. The air conditioner was efficient and not too noisy. The TV was unusable for me but I usually do not watch TV anyway.
The big swimming pool with the large children section has very few lounge chairs...which anyway get promptly ”reserved” (and then left ”empty” with clothes, etc... to make sure no one can use them). But it is probably safer to swim there than in the polluted sea a quick walk away as the locals (and unfortunately many guests too) seem to have no environment awareness. Phu Quoc is from that perspective a very poor example in Vietnam.
The location of the hotel is good. The free VinBus stops in front and it is next to the ”fake” Venice. There are plenty of shops around as well as restaurants and other eateries. The sea and the beach are hardly a 10 minutes walk away.
The area is quiet and not visibly as polluted as the town. The town and the airport are easily reachable with the convenient and free VinBuses in 45 to 60 minutes.
I would not hesitate to come back to the Wyndham Garden should I return to Phu Quoc in the future.
GGuest UserFor the first night I booked a single standard room. The room is spacious and clean, but the bed was TERRIBLE. Im travelling for 6 months and this bed was in the worst condition I ever had. You literally sleep on the spirals. I went to the reception to say something about it. She replied to me: many people sleep in this room but they don't complain like you. Giving me the feeling im sort of a diva. Overall not a really friendly receptioniste.I felt burdened asking her a question. I asked to rent a motorbike with a phone holder (because I need this for Google Maps, otherwise I get lost 😅). Hotel charges you 150.000 VND. Five minutes later a motorbike without phone holder arrived. Again I was given the look of complaining once I said I really want a motorbike with phone holder.
I went to a rental place just 6 minutes away from the resort. Super friendly guy, good motorbikes (with phone holders) and only charge you 120.000 VND.
My second night I got offered a nice room next to the swimmingpool. The matrass was not as bad as the first one, but VERY hard. Havent had a good sleep since my arrival at the resort. The beds really are a problem here, too bad, because the resort itself is nice! Good value for the money.
In terms of the swimmingpool. Its a nice and clean swimmingpool, but Vietnamese family swimming and making noises till late. Since my room was next to the swimmingpool, very disturbing there is no one in the resort taking care of this.
Overall: nice resort, good location, clean, but noisy around the swimmingpool (if you have some bad luck with the guests like I did) and terrible beds. I changed my stay since I want to catch some sleep so Im able to explore the island!
TTay YixianService was good but the maintenance of the room have got to be improved. There were stains on the windows of the shower area.
Toilet bowl constantly has a flowing water sound throughout the night.
I would prefer if theres a mini fridge for us to chill drinks/food, especially in the hot season!
Breakfast was alright, I appreciate the live egg station as well as the pho. Bread was stale though.
Other than those issues, bellboy service was really good and genuine.
Exclusive beach was a plus with great views and accessories like hammock, swing etc.
For the price, definitely worth an experience!

GGuest UserThe resort has alot of potential with an exclusive beach, swimming pool and eloquent rooms (some with great views). Breakfasts are great. The manager was good and takes pride in the resort, however when he was not around in the afternoons and evenings service was rare and hard to find. You have to actively go look for restaurant staff to place an order or pay. The restaurant could be alot more profitable if staff actively removed plates and asked clients if they could get them anything e.g dessert, drinks. They charge a service fee, but with little service.
It advertises a gym, but equipment is in disrepair, they should not advertise facilities which are not functional.
There is not much around the resort in terms of restaurants, bars and shops. It is also not an easy location to get to, but yet we found the reception unhelpful in getting transport.
All in all the resort could be great, but service needs to be improved.
