The female staff who checked in provided very bad service and did not care about the service. When calling, the information was not clear. The hotel was renovated and did not inform in advance. I had to check in at another hotel while it was raining. I had to walk in the rain to check in. I also had to go to another place to eat breakfast, which was inconvenient for the service recipients.

Had to walk a bit further to another hotel to get checked in which is not ideal especially if you have luggage , location is good , close to the port and train station

The hotel was small, but very nice, excellent location, close to train station and the ferry, the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The room was clean and tidy and we had a great time. We even got our breakfast packed, as we were leaving early in the morning.

The location of the hotel is very good, just next to the train station, five minutes away. Highly recommended if you are pushing a suitcase, it is very convenient to come or leave from Varenna. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's quite clean inside and has everything you need, including plenty of hot water. You must know that hot water bathing is a luxury in Italy. Since we were going during the peak season, the nearby hotels were almost fully booked, and there weren’t many hotels there. So I can't ask for so much. What I appreciate most is that the hotel price also includes breakfast. The breakfast is quite rich, which is very good in Italy. The guy at the front desk was very nice and communicative.
The only drawback is that when I went there, the place where I stayed was under renovation, so the front desk service had to go to another hotel. If you have anything to do at night, you can only call. Luckily no phone calls were needed. And the air conditioner doesn't work at all. But thankfully it was very comfortable there at night.

This small hotel is very close to the train station. The first intersection is just a few minutes down the road. There is a restaurant and breakfast place on the first floor. You will be given a back door key and you can go in and out freely without passing through the restaurant. The bathroom is very good, one-star but much better than the three-star hotel in Florence. It is recommended to stay. The breakfast is particularly Italian, with a plate of various breads and pastries, coffee and drinks.
