Kaen Hostel Pattaya

Central Pattaya Pattaya|0.04km from PJ Djbar & Guesthouse
The location is quite convenient. 5 minutes walk from the beach. There are many shops and bars nearby. No problem. There is an elevator inside where you can send your luggage to the desired floor. I would be scared to ride that elevator myself. On the ground floor there is a coffee shop and kitchen. On the top floor there is a rooftop bar, where it would be cool and beautiful to sit, but almost all the seats are occupied by the Chinese, who yell at the entire roof and play their traditional games. It was uncomfortable to be there. Next door I also came across a Chinese man who was constantly coughing, spitting and blowing his nose. This was very disturbing. As for cleanliness, they don't pay much attention to it. There are wet towels lying around everywhere, which obviously no one will use anymore. The bathroom was in a terrible dirty state. Everywhere there are empty packaging, labels from all kinds of products, paper, towels. For some reason, rarely did anyone flush the toilet. The toilet is full of ****, there is no toilet brush. There is no shower gel in the showers. The container is simply empty. There is no hot water, we had to wash in summer water. It's not very pleasant after being frozen overnight in a room where your neighbors constantly turn the air conditioning on at 20 degrees. But everything is stylish, beautiful and inexpensive. The staff is very kind and polite. Always willing to meet and ready to help. Many thanks to them. It was only because of them, the price and the beautiful renovation that I didn’t move out on the first day. Overall ok. I wouldn't go back there a second time. After that I found a hostel a hundred times cleaner, more comfortable and better right on the beach line for the same price!

Central Pattaya
We lived in this hotel in the first half of November 2023. The staff is friendly, trying to help with everything, but almost no one understands English, not to mention Russian. They call for help from a guy from a restaurant on the 1st floor, he speaks at least some English)) But we managed without this, literally with gestures) Sometimes they use a translator on the phone. Upon arrival, they take a deposit of 1000 baht and issue a receipt, according to which the baht will be returned upon departure if everything is OK. The room was spacious and clean, everything you needed was there. The safe, as the guy from the restaurant explained to us, can only be locked with a key, the code does not work, we did not leave the keys at the reception, only if we wanted the room to be cleaned. If you do not leave the keys, then they will not enter your room, they will only leave bottles of water and toilet paper under the door)) The hotel is located directly opposite the Festival shopping center, and until about 23.00 there was a street cafe and the music was blaring, it didn’t bother us, because . we wandered around until late at night) The location of the hotel is generally excellent, you can walk almost anywhere, we often returned in the evening on tuk-tuks, our legs couldn’t walk)) There are a lot of cafes and shops within walking distance, we especially liked the Villa hypermarket, like our Auchan , there is everything! They accept the Kazakh Kaspi Visa card, although every 7/11 store there accepts it, but from a certain purchase amount. By the way, in the Festival shopping center there is also a good supermarket on the -1st floor, where there is a large “food court”, cards are accepted everywhere. In the restaurant of the hotel itself on the 1st floor the food is delicious, but there is not a lot of alcohol... Beer and whiskey, although there is nothing on the bar list, maybe it was just the beginning of the season)) In general, we were very pleased that we accidentally chose this hotel))

The staff are very self-friendly ❤️ good price, less than 500 meters walk to the beach. The staff would recommend everything. But the only bad thing is that there is no parking space 🥹

This was the first time I stayed at the Flipper. Heard good reports from friends so had to give it a go. Wasn't disappointed at all, I paid a little extra for a better room than the first I was shown, no big issue here. Very happy with my second room where I stayed for 10 days. Great pools with views of Pattaya that also get the sun all day. Bars and eating places very close by. Best thing for me was the late finnshing time for breakfast. You could get up at your leisure after a night drinking them make your way down. Although I wouldn't say it's the best breakfast I've ever had it was by no means the worst. Basically a decent buffet breakfast to fill yourself up on on a morning. A very very good choice of hotel in Pattaya, couldn't fault the place
Highfive Hotel Pattaya

We've stayed here a few times as we were with associate friends; the hotel isn't the best, but the reception and staff are friendly, helpful and available 24/7. We stayed in the presidential suite on the top floor; it's a private floor with only presidential suites (two presidential suites). Despite being called a presidential suite, it's not that presidential compared to other presidential suites I've seen. Larger than other rooms in the hotel but with the same facilities as other rooms in a higher star hotel; a double bed, lamp, fridge, TV, table and chairs, wardrobe, small sofa seat etc. The towels and sheets are clean when you arrive and can be changed every day if you need them (as I always get up late, so it's past cleaning time) The hotel is very convenient to get around, you can take a taxi to all major areas in Pattaya The shopping malls or going to the pedestrian street with its many bars and clubs are all within a short distance. The beach is not too far away. Would I recommend it? From my experience, I had no problems. If you just want a basic cheap place to stay, not fancy, then this is the place.
