The owner of this hotel showed us to our room as we booked our room last min and we checked in after the hours. She was super friendly and helpful!
The room and bathroom are spotless!
I was fascinated by the collectables and antiques displayed in the hotel - it’s totally like a museum which is amazing!
Staff are friendly :)
We enjoyed our stay at Poshtel very much!

the hotel was a very historical place, we really like it! The art gallery is very interesting, and the lift is a really great experience, we first time saw a lift like that. The owner also helped us a lot, the hotel was especially near to the restaurant and KFC! We will definitely revisit the place again if we could.

If you pass by Aomaru, this hotel is a must-see.
This building has a rich history and is a place with stories (go find out for yourself). Each room has a different design, full of the designer's good intentions. You must experience every detail in person.
The waiter is also very enthusiastic, the Western breakfast is simple and rich, and it feels like returning home.

The hotel is a niche boutique hotel. The room is not big. The 32-inch suitcase is not big. You have to find a place to open it. The decoration is very retro. Although it is close to the street, there is no one in Oamaru at 4pm. Parking can be done at the Green Supermarket at the back where the owner is. They said they have a parking contract with the supermarket or a parking space at the entrance, but they have to park after 4 o'clock and leave before 10 o'clock in the morning. However, the boss said it's okay to park as long as possible and the police don't care. . . But I still don’t want it. It’s very close to the supermarket. It takes about 2 minutes to walk there.
