It is a bit far from the city center. It is a very British-style hotel. The small garden is beautifully trimmed, the room is clean, and there is a balcony. It faces the tea garden. It is quiet at night and the air is fresh in the morning. I like this hotel. The hotel provides a buffet dinner with many varieties. Breakfast is also a buffet, with not many varieties. Nice hotel in a colonial style with very beautiful gardens. The room was simple but spacious and the staff was very friendly. The dinner and breakfast buffet was good, but the variety of food was limited. One aspect that should be improved is the water pressure in the bathroom since it was very low. Overall, it is a nice hotel for a short stay in the Sri Lankan mountains.

For much of the time there was no-one around at the bar. Possibly, the hotel is a little short staffed. The room was fine but the bedclothes were a bit damp. Limited food in the restaurant but what was offered was tasty. The manager was very friendly and happy to chat. Nice gardens and only a short tuk-tuk ride away from Nuwara Eliya.

A good hotel with a good quality buffet for both breakfast and lunch. Room ok and space and we had a nice balcony. Easy access to the town and lake by tuktuk. Can walk to the lake. The bar are was very good and we met our group there before dinner. staff excellent. Overall very good.

Very Beautiful property. Quite a good dinner & breakfast buffet. Really quick room service. Nuwara Eliya is a cold place. The manager asked us if we feel cold, we may demand additional room heater. When we asked for it they quickly delivered to our room. Room was quite good. The only complaint is that the warm water in the shower ran out quite fast & took some time to heat again.

The place was a surprise. It gives you a warm, welcoming feeling. All the staff, including the manger gave us personalised treatment. They were very helpful and attentive to our needs. Food was excellent and in our two days there, we got to savour quite a fair bit of Sri Lankan cuisine.

The staff do everything to make your stay memorable. The restaurant manager makes conversation with all the guests every dinner. There is a gratuity box in the dining room which is a good idea so that all the staff can be appreciated. The hotel rooms, although comfortable, could be modernised. There is Christian bible in the room, which.in our opinion should be supplemented with bibles of other religions as well, or be removed. All in all, a very good stay.
