A complete dump. While they will claim they doing renovations so "please pardon our appearance" the mismanagement is well beyond renovations. They called 2 days before check-in to say there are renovations and things like pool, gym etc would be closed. Thanks for doing this at last minute after it too late to cancel. The room had an electrical issue with stove (very comforting), tv's, previous guests dishes still dirty in dishwasher, and cold items were hot at breakfast and hot items were cold. Also was nice as i found hair scrunchies and pills in the carpet in the room from previous guests. Almost impossible to get an elevator as each time it had constriction works and equipment. Yet emergency exits were taped off saying do not use. Staff told me they were getting complaints all day about the last minute renovation call, things not working in room, the breakfast and the dirt from construction. Construction is on second floor yet floors 1 and 3 dirty also. Absolutely worst managed hotel I've been in and I travel weekly for work.

I wouldn't come here if you're trying to trust a hotel to be ready when you're there, on time, wanting nothing more than rest and comfort. Barely no staff, hot tub never seems to be available for use and it's more of a smaller.. older, hotel, that needs to be remodeled. Smells musty.

I was a little hesitant to stay here after I'd read some recent reviews. I travel quite a bit and have stayed in a lot of hotels all over the world--from roadside trucker motels to fancy resorts. That said, I have not even the smallest negative thing to report about this hotel. The staff was INCREDIBLY friendly, thoughtful, polite, and kind. Even as we were sitting in the dining room the next morning, a random employee made suggestions about what his favorite items were from the buffet and he wasn't wrong. If they have the little mini quiches with spinach, they are good, get them! The entire hotel smelled fresh and clean when we walked in, check-in was fast. The rooms were just as described. Sure, some of the in-room furniture was likely on the older side, but everything functioned as it should and everything was sparkling clean including the bed linens, the kitchenette in our room, and the bathroom. The bathroom water pressure was great. The pool was nice and clean. I have a small dog and he was able to stay with me which was lovely. The grounds are adequate for taking dogs on short walks. The free breakfast was well stocked with options and the dining room was so cozy with the holiday decorations and tree and even holiday movies playing. Overall, my quick stay visiting friends was made extra special by staying at the Residence Inn in Greenbush--I have stayed at other places while visiting these friends, but from now on, I'm exclusively staying here. The location is so convenient, it's right off the highway but on a woodsy road where you can't hear any traffic. The neighboring businesses are tucked in an industrial park, so it's really quite and low key. The only thing that was lacking were clothes hangers in the closet. Our room only came with one. Not a huge deal since we only stayed overnight.

This is another review about how disappointed I was during my stay at a hotel that at one time was my Cheers, staff knew mine and my colleagues names and greeted us each time we came. Since returning to travel after the pandemic things have drastically changed. The staff at the front desk are void of personality responding to questions in monotone. Last night when I got to my room neither of the TVs weee working so I tried to call the front desk. Phones were down as well. I went down to talk to someone and was told that the TVs and phones were down all day and being worked on. This is something that should have been communicated at the time if check in. Sorry to say that I will likely be staying at other properties when I come to town for work. There are other Marriott options and I try to stay true to Marriott.

We booked a 5 night stay in a one bedroom. There are typically no Ambassador status recognition at these properties but we did get a high floor corner room based on our preferences. Pros: - The front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly - Clean rooms - It's very close to major highways and lots of restaurants/stores such as Target, Walmart, etc. Cons: - It's not a new property, so its worn out In general it was a good option if you need to be in this area, but it's not fancy and a bit outdated.

Overall was good. They are doing work during the day so there is a lot of banging around. WiFi was horrible. Even after doing the upgrade. Confirmed it on three different devices.

Unfortunately, there’s one employee that does not belong at this hotel, or any customer facing job for that matter. This hotel has some of the best front desk people, but this one is the worst. I can identify this employee only by her big size and insufferable attitude. She goes out of her way to ruin the clientele’s experience. May be that is how she is. From being rude right off the bat with anybody needing help to pushing back on them instead of offering any solutions this employee has earned her “WORST WORKER” award. Management should make a change as quickly as possible to keep customers coming back to their hotel by removing this employee or assigning her work inside the hotel, so she does not have to interact with customers. This ruins everybody’s time. Please investigate this and do the right thing for your paying customers.
