The rooftop with view and swimming pool is absolutely sublime, it is very pleasant, the staff is very careful and small care, only negative point, the spa is slightly disappointing, The facilities are old, not very well decorated and lighted, it doesn't value the spa, it lacks a jacuzzi but the spa staff is super top, and they make the best massage. The best 5 stars in Nice are in a price-quality-level! And the fact that not being at the sea front, but we are still not far from 10 minutes walk and the ballade is very nice, is really offset by the rooftop that is the best point of the hotel.

Loved the view from the room and rooftop! Me and my bf stayed for 3 nights last week. Was amazing! All the staff were very kind and helpful. The most enjoyable part was the view while we were having breakfast at the top floor. Breakfast buffet was ok and they serving dinner in the same room as well.

I cannot recommend this hotel especially at the prices they charged. Arrived at 5.30pm and room wasn't ready. They then said it was and gave us a smaller room than we had booked and paid for. When we said so they told us ”Americans have a different idea of what king-sized means”. An hour later they called and agreed we had indeed booked a bigger room and offered to move us to one with a king bed. The man from reception then took us to said room without offering to help us with our luggage. Just stood and watched us drag our bags across the carpeted corridors ...All I can say is it was 3 star service and quality at VERY high prices. The next morning we moved to an absolutely world class hotel which was ten times nicer and less expensive. Over-priced, outdated and obnoxious staff.

I asked a restaurant for lunch, and then went to the hotel restaurant. Remember that the pride of being a hotel is a real service. The restroom that happened to appear on the first floor (although the recommended restroom is fun) is beautiful and can be left in the photo. The breakfast menu is almost the same as any other hotel. Smoked salmon looks good. It is remembered to be the difference between a meal and a small meal The hotel stayed at the end of January was very cheap and there was no parking fee.

The location of the hotel is very good. Turn left and then turn left to Gabor Square. There is a large supermarket next to the square and many restaurants in the surrounding area. It is not far from the Old Town of Nice. Breakfast is typical ibis style and ok. However, no extra bed is available in the room. The facilities are complete and the rooms are clean and tidy. Parking lot access is not very convenient, the aisle is narrow, and parking spaces are very laborious. The car I drove was relatively large and not very convenient. There is also a city tax on parking fees. The warmest thing is that there is boiling water and free snacks in the lobby. Although I didn't eat snacks, I made tea several times. Especially suitable for Chinese. 👍

Hotel very well located, a few meters from Place Garibaldi (place of departure and arrival of the tram for the airport and the rest of the city). Very pleasant reception, who responds easily and with great kindness to questions. The whole is rather clean and calm overall (for the month of August). Accustomed to coming to Airbnbs, I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay (2 to 3 times a year). Unrivaled value for money. See you soon and thank you again.

The room is a bit smaller, but there is everything, there is a hidden kitchen to cook, the tableware is very exquisite, I like it very much! I even asked for a delicate coffee cup as a gift 🎁 Thank you Julien 😇😇😇 There are also welcome macarons and welcome cards written by yourself! The only bad thing is that the stairs are very steep, which is not convenient for people with large luggage. Fortunately, Joanna was enthusiastic to help me carry my luggage up. Julien helped me move downstairs when I left. Thank you ☺️😌😌

I don’t usually write reviews but I feel compelled to this time. I knew Hotel Petit Palais would be a good stay when Kevin at the front desk kept in touch with me via Booking.com messaging about my room, dinner reservations etc. before we left New York. When we arrived at the hotel, he and Philip, the manager, rushed outside to welcome us like old friends. They took care of so many details we hadn’t even thought of to make our trip effortless and frankly, made us feel like valued guests. Lots of thanks to them. They are impressive. Aside from that the rooms are newly renovated and very nicely appointed. We had two rooms during our three night stay and one was quite a good size and the other on the small side but still comfortable. The bigger room at a very modern bathroom. The smaller one had a more traditional bathroom but it was fine. The hotel is quiet. The pool is tiny but very pretty and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious—a great assortment of fresh croissants, eggs, fruits, meats, yogurts etc. A percent way to start the day sitting in the pretty garden. The lady who runs the breakfast was also very charming and professional. The hotel is up a big hill and while that may be a dealbreaker for some, it also allows you to see a beautiful, wealthy neighborhood you would likely otherwise miss. It’s also a great respite from the chao of Nice’s old town along the ocean and the throngs of tourists and the views are beautiful. I would definitely stay here again. So grateful to the management. I’ve traveled quite a bit and I think this hotel is a rare find.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights prior to joining a cruise from Monaco. We arrived at Nice Airport and used the metro to get into the city. There is a stop very close to the hotel which is very convenient. Our room was ready on arrival and we could use it immediately….excellent! Staff very helpful! The room was on a corner of the third floor with city views. It had two French windows which gave a breeze. The room had a comfortable bed, great bathroom with large shower, good toiletries and plenty of towels… There was a tv, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. Reasonable storage…but not really needed for a short stay. Room was compact, but really lovely and quiet. The hotel breakfast was also good. We didn’t have included breakfast but did buy it one morning and enjoyed it. Hotel is well situated …walk to the Promenade des Anglais in one direction and the station in the other. Very easy to get around . Places for breakfast and dinner nearby. Highly recommend the hotel! A very enjoyable stay ….would recommend.

Unlike the old and pretty exterior, I was disappointed at the small room and shower room at first, but all the staff were friendly during my stay. But the minibar was not working at first, so it was replaced, and the electric kettle was covered with lime powder on the floor, so I had to wash it myself and use it. Other than the disappointment with that part, the location is good and the price is reasonable.

This hotel was so CUTE! The staff was warm and friendly (and very accommodating with our lack of French knowledge). The rooms were fully furnished (down to having a curling iron in the room!). Location and facilities were all satisfactory. Just at the time of check-in, a white male employee said that there was an issue with the standard name I booked and offered to give me an apartment room next to the hotel without an exact explanation. There was a problem with the room, so they gave me a bigger room, so I followed up and found it to be an old and smelly room. So, I asked, and there is a room that is currently being repaired. If you want to wait, I will wait. I will wait. My wife and I both felt it was racist and wanted to make a complaint at checkout, but we had good memories of Nice and didn't want to talk anymore, so we quit. I hope that the blonde, white male employee who works in the afternoon must realize his mistake and know that the color of his skin is nothing.

This is the best hotel apartment I have ever stayed in Europe! First of all, this type of hotel is very novel. It has both the convenient services of a hotel and the warm feeling of living at home. Hotel management is disappointed. Rooms are too cramped and small, bed linen are smelly and carpets are not well cleaned. Though the location of the hotel is amazing, but over all the experience at the hotel is below par. Had to choose this hotel as all hotels in nice in that area was booked. Rooms were just Below Par and the size of the wash room was too small not even proper space to wash hands. Definitely not staying here in the future. However the lady at the reception named Justine was very kind and well behaved. But others were not even half as nice as her. Other reception manager was not nice at all. Waste of my money. Stop marketing as a heritage hotel- a heritage hotel does not mean the rooms will be dusty wash rooms unusable and cramped. Not to mention the beds were horrible, mattress was just horrible and Infact my stay here was almost without restful sleep.

Tornerei sicuramente in questo hotel per diversi motivi. Posizione : hotel centrale. A 10 minuti a piedi dal mare, e dalla città vecchia ; altri 15 dalla stazione. In pochi minuti siete su Jean Medecin , la via dei negozi. Insomma perfetto! Se arrivate in auto non c’è parcheggio. Dovrete optare per quello su strada a pagamento , o per quelli sotterranei sempre a pagamento. Il nice etoile e’ a 5 minuti a piedi (centro commerciale con parcheggio sotteraneo a pagamento . Anche quest’anno non prendeva le carte di credito, armatevi di banconote da 20€). Camminando a piedi nella via principale jean medecin , dovete svoltare nella via laterale a cui fa angolo il negozio di Mango. Poi proseguire dritto un paio di minuti. L’hotel rimane sul lato mare (alla destra se venite da jean medecin). Camera : la nostra camera era al terzo piano. Per fortuna c’è un piccolo ascensore per portar su facilmente anche i bagagli. Spaziosa il giusto , pulita e con bagno privato. Il bagno era spazioso , con doccia wc , lavandino e phon . Un solo asciugamano a persona.Buon numero di prese nella stanza per caricare i telefoni . No frigo bar, no bollitore. Tv (no canali italiani) Armadio con cassaforte . Comodini e scrivania . Condizionatore .unica pecca era la mancanza di segnale wifii . La camera era in fondo al corridoio e la lontananza dalla parte centrale dell hotel sicuramente avrà influito. Servirebbero dei ripetitori ! Lo abbiamo fatto presente alla ragazza in reception che non reggeva /manteneva il segnale, ma il problema non si è risolto. Questo è l’unico motivo per cui non posso mettere 5 stelle. Per fortuna avevamo dei giga con la nostra compagnia telefonica . Altri piccoli dettagli migliorabili: le tende non oscurano abbastanza la stanza, anche chiudendo gli scuri purtroppo filtra la luce.se vi infastidisce portate una mascherina da notte . Dalla strada in certi momenti c’è molto rumore di giorno, per cui vanno chiuse le finestre. Di notte e più tranquillo . Materasso un po’ datato nella nostra stanza. Colazione: non ne abbiamo usufruito. Nei dintorni siete pieni di caffetterie e pasticcerie. C’è un forno proprio nella via a sinistra dell hotel ad esempio . Oppure avete Emilies and the cool kids a 5 minuti , starbucks e altre caffetterie nel nice etoile, maison karlie, le country store etc.. Per il resto staff gentile in reception e donne delle pulizie molto cortesi. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo considerando la posizione ! Da tornarci!
